Lovely care home, well organised and managed. The team are very kind and caring, but the CQC rating does not show the true side of St George's Court. The level of care respect and compassion that is given to my partner's cousin in the final months was second to none. We would recommend this lovely home.

Was worried about the CQC rating at first but St Georges Court is a lovely care home. Very clean, no odour at all. The staff are kind and caring to not only my cousin but all the family. The home have lots of entertainment and craft activities. The manager is very friendly and the home is well-led. We would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a care home. The home has parking and is in the centre of Cambridge.

It's so nice to visit my grandad in such a warm, friendly and welcoming environment.
From the moment I walk into the home, I know by the little details that he is in the right place.
I feel assured that he is being looked after so well, with his best interest at heart.

A big thank you to all the staff for their hard work and dedication, it doesn't go unnoticed by our family members.

Had the pleasure of attending this care facility as I have done on numerous occasions this year and I can not express how impressive it is. The staff are friendly but professional and always very caring. Several times I witnessed real compassion from the staff who had not seen me enter the room, so I know it's all genuine. The place is clean and warm and has a very nice, friendly and caring atmosphere.
So glad we got Nanna in here, anyone thinking of using this facility would not be disappointed.

Thank you everyone.

The care home taking wonderful care of my grandma. It feels like one big, happy family. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and eager to assist both visitors and residents alike.

The home offers a variety of activities throughout the week, along with regular entertainment, and it's always kept spotless. The food is excellent, and when I leave after visiting Grandma, I feel completely reassured knowing she is receiving the best care.

My wife is receiving the best possible care at St Georges. She is treated with compassion and understanding and is comfortable in her surroundings. Her room is always clean and tidy. She is always well-dressed. I take great comfort that she is well looked after by her one-to-one carer who is excellent.

St Georges Court has been wonderful with my mother, who's been a resident since September 2022. She was very distressed, screaming in fear after bad experiences in another home. She is blind and has memory loss. Staff worked so hard to work out a care plan, and, even through personal changes, have brought Mum to stability and even happiness! Staff are always warm, friendly and responsive - even when things go wrong - which obviously they do, everywhere.

Myself and my son would like to highly recommend St George’s Court Care Home. The care home looked after my dad when he was alive, and is now looking after my mum. The care home is like one big happy family. The staff are always happy and helpful and willing to help visitors and residents alike. The care home has many activities during the week and entertainment. It’s always kept lovely and clean.

The food is excellent. When I visit Mum and then leave, I know Mum is getting the best care.

Staff are mostly kindly and well meaning, but often they knock, enter and say 'tea' or similar. It would be so much nicer if they could chat a little: 'how are you' or 'it's a lovely day' or 'rainy day' and look her in the face and smile. It's a very minor matter on the face of it, but it would make a big difference.

My husband was admitted to St George's in November 2022 as needing nursing care. During his time, every effort was made to ensure his comfort and well-being. There was humour, and of course, tears. During February 2023, his very poor health deteriorated further, but the staff were kind and respectful and helped us to cope with his passing when the time came.

Our children, grandson and I want to thank all the staff for the very high level of care he was given during his stay with you. I felt that he had the best possible life considering how ill he was.

In my husband's words - "that nurse is a diamond", which relates to all the staff. He has settled down and is well-liked by all the staff. The manager is always at hand or at the end of her mobile, which is very reassuring. Really pleased with this care home. Please thank all the staff for the excellent care and attention to him.

Some carers are more efficient and more caring. I think more activities or someone taking time talking to them as you can see the difference in the residents when this happens. Things have improved greatly.

I am very grateful for the continuing care given to my mother since she was admitted to the dementia care section of St George’s Court last August. Staff are very caring, and under the very difficult circumstances surrounding Coronavirus, have worked exceptionally hard to make day-to-day life as good as it can be for the residents. It’s fantastic that now restrictions have been eased, activities are increasing, and the stimulation provided by these is much appreciated. The social media page is a good way of seeing some of the activities that occur, and it’s lovely to see my mum in some of the photos engaging in these.
