An exceptionally good care home with caring, friendly staff, a lot of whom have been working there a number of years. My husband receives the very best of attention and the care home provides a programme of weekly activities to stimulate and engage residents. Good food served in hotel-style dining rooms with teas/coffee/squash and cake also available at all times. It's a pleasure to visit there, particularly as family and friends are always made welcome.
The home also has an excellent relationship with the local GP surgery which provides reliable service to the residents.

My husband is extremely happy there.

My husband has been at Hilton Park since March 2023.
Whenever I have had any issues regarding my husband's care they have been dealt with immediately. On occasions, I have had to raise the same issues but again these have been addressed.

Most of the carers seem to enjoy their role and as a result their standards of care are high quality.

Mum was in Hilton Park for five weeks, following a fall and stay in hospital. She was well looked after, kept safe and encouraged to join activities. Her frailty and memory loss made life challenging for her. The staff were all very kind, caring and reassuring to her and us.

Mum died in July, in her sleep - Barchester Hilton Park Care Home staff were helpful to the end.

The highlight of Barchester Hilton Park Care Home, Churchill unit, is the staff. They are consistently helpful, very caring and without fail, good-humoured. The care is professional, thorough and offers good attention to detail. All meals are well-cooked, beautifully presented and given with appropriate practical support. A wide-ranging programme of activities is available, including some visits to places of interest nearby. Musical involvement is excellent. The standard of decoration and cleanliness is generally good and the grounds are well-kept. Hospitality is offered to everyone, showing that Barchester cares for people.

The care given to my mum was just amazing. They treat her with dignity, nothing was too much. I cannot thank you all enough because the care given was out of this world. They made her feel comfortable and cheerful when she had her good days. It's like one big family unit, they welcome you with care and support. One amazing care home and anyone coming into it is really lucky to have such amazing staff, carers looking after them. Thank you so much for all you have done and what you are doing.

My mother has been here since November 2023 and I have found the staff to be very professional and caring. They do a very good job in what is an extremely difficult situation and my family and I are very happy with the care she is receiving. Her room is quite pleasant and the surrounding grounds are good for a nice walk for her to get out when the weather permits.

My husband has been a resident of Hilton Park Care Home now for a number of years. During that time his health has deteriorated but the staff at the care home have continued to provide excellent nursing care. The care provided has been constantly adjusted to ensure that his needs are met and everyone with whom he comes into contact is professional, very kind and considerate towards him.
I have also found that the activities staff try to encourage him to participate in activities when his health allows.

The management are always approachable and willing to give time to resolve any problems which affect his well-being.

I think Barchester Hilton Park Care Home is a very caring place. My mother has thrived there.
The staff are committed and caring.
Activities are splendid.
The grounds are beautiful.
A suggestion would be for a marquee in the garden for summer events. Getting residents outside.
Another suggestion would be to improve communication with families.

Very good care home.

Lovely surroundings with very helpful and friendly staff for whom nothing is too much trouble to ensure a comfortable stay. The room quality is excellent, along with the facilities on offer make for a good feeling of care and security. The food was excellent, and the meticulous preparation by the staff before my elderly mother arrived is to be commended. My wife and I cannot thank Hilton Park Care Home for providing my mother with a fantastic respite stay and allowing us to enjoy our holiday trouble-free.

My mother has been at Barchester Hilton Park Care Home for three years now, and though her dementia is progressing, she continues to be happy and settled in Kings Unit with staff who are kind and patient and who do their utmost to ensure she can enjoy her daily walk out and around the lovely garden. Her room is always tidy, and she is always well-presented with fresh, clean clothes in her favourite colours. The meals are very good, and she has maintained her weight and even gained some. Musical entertainment in the company of others is a highlight of each week, and simple Bingo with useful prizes sparks their innate competitiveness and gives a sense of achievement if they win. Every day, there is something to add “colour” to their day and companionship.

As one of 3 daughters of one of your your longer standing residents and living in Austria, I have visited Hilton Park on several occasions and through social media I am able to witness the happiness and the joyful activities the residents are able to enjoy and participate in. Our only means of communication when I’m out of the country is a digital assistant and when the line is for some reason disconnected I mail the manager of Kings and within a short time we are reengaged. Your staff are so helpful and understanding to make these last golden years as happy for the residents as possible. Our mother was 95 in April and the party we had would have been a knees up for a much younger celebrant! A band, dancing, a massive cake by kind creation of your master chef, balloons and bags of fun and great vibes to set her on her way to the next happy goalpost! We‘re so fortunate in landing such a lovely, caring home where she feels so cocooned and comfortable in her twilight years!

I have been a resident in this care home for the past three years. During this time, I have been treated with compassion, dignity, care and understanding. The staff at all levels take the time to help and listen. Activities are very active with something for everyone to enjoy. The kitchen works hard to please with special requests. Visitors find a pleasant experience to visit. In all a happy place.
