My mother moved into Brooklyn House a month ago. Her mobility and memory are poor and she was lonely and depressed living alone in her home. The staff here have made her so welcome - her room is nice and she says the food is good. We have seen such a difference in her - much brighter and more alert and engaged. We are relieved that she is happy, much safe and enjoying life much more. The staff have also made us - her family - very welcome and have been very supportive.

I had visited my husband in Brooklyn House Nursing Home for two years and was overwhelmingly impressed with (A) the friendliness and caring of both my husband and me as a visitor. So when I became too poorly to cope as home, I knew there was only one place I wanted to be. Had no hesitation in selling my bungalow to pay for me to be a resident and I don't have any regrets whatsoever. Best decision I ever made.

If a loved one needs a kind and compassionate nursing home, I can highly recommend Brooklyn House. My father was discharged from hospital, as they felt there was nothing else that could be done for him. He was very poorly. With great care and nursing, he has gained an amazing quality of life for his age that we didn't think would be an option. Everything is geared to the differing needs of the residents at Brooklyn House and, as a family, we feel that we too are also included.

My dad was in a bad way when he came from the hospital. Since his stay at Brooklyn House Nursing Home, he has improved so much. Knowing he is cared for so well brings great peace of mind. I have found all the members of staff that I have spoken with very understanding and helpful. Having a warm and friendly atmosphere I think is really important for relatives visiting their loved ones. I would definitely recommend Brooklyn.

Always treated well on arriving by a very good receptionist. Clean corridors. Well-dressed staff. Very polite. My daughter is safe and very well cared for. Something she wasn't in the Greenwich (London) area.

Every staff member was superb, and their teams worked so well in caring for him in his last, hard weeks.
