Claremont House provides specialist nursing and elderly care for the local residents of Caister-on-sea, Norfolk. Run by a warm, welcoming and enthusiastic team, Claremont House offers high quality care that maintains an excellent reputation within the local community.

In addition, it incorporates a welcoming reception area, dining room, two lounges, one of which has an early 1950s feel, a themed hairdressing salon and an attractive sensory garden, on the patio, all of which residents and their guests can enjoy. Although rooms are fully furnished, they encourage residents to bring with them items of furniture and personal effects to complement those already provided so that their room can become an individual retreat.

Claremont Lodge, like Claremont House, is situated on the High Street of Caister-on-Sea conveniently near to a range of shops and amenities. To ensure, where possible, that residents have an active social life, regular trips takes are organised to the local shops, theatre, etc., allowing everyone to benefit from the fresh sea air of the nearby coastline. If you simply wish for peace and tranquillity, well maintained gardens and courtyards surround the home, allowing you to enjoy a haven from the bustle of the town.

Although my cousin was not a resident for a long period, she was treated in a warm, welcoming, and caring manner by every staff member. It made what could have been a very uncomfortable time remarkably peaceful. We can think of no way that the service could have been improved.

My Mother was a resident from June 2014 to the end of September 2015.
Initially she came just for temporary respite care but very soon wanted to be a permanent resident.
She had not been used to living in a Community, so we were pleasantly surprised how quickly she adapted to her new surroundings.
It
is our belief that the quality of care and the positive atmosphere within the home made her integration so successful. I visited regularly and was very impressed with the wonderful care that she received. I was most impressed with the attitude of all of the staff and found their commitment and positivity very refreshing.
The alternative for my Mother had been to return to a large bungalow and live on her own. We know that being at Claremont extended the good quality of her life and I would have no hesitation in recommending Claremont House to anybody. I firmly believe that this is without doubt the best Care home in the area.
