Residents are always well cared for. The staff are always friendly and chatty, not only to those they care for but also to the residents and relations. A variety of activities are arranged for the residents, which they thoroughly enjoy.
My brother moved into Meadow House in January 2026. I cannot believe the difference in him - wow, just wow. Thank you to all the staff for giving me my brother back. He is looking so well; the improvements are amazing. The home is like home from home, we have been able to spend such lovely quality time with him. Thank you.

Overall outstanding
Dear Thomas, thank you very much for your kind review.
I cannot fault Meadow House one bit. It is a first-class care home. Since my daughter moved here in Jan 2025 she has improved dramatically. All the staff at Meadow House are brilliant and very caring. My daughter loves it at Meadow House. She is so much happier, it's lovely to see.
Thank you very much for this lovely review. Joanna
My friend has improved from the day she moved. In the last home all she did was cry and she was left in bed, nobody talked to her. Her movement and talking have greatly improved and now smiles and is happy.
Thank you very much for such a lovely review.
My sister has been a resident now for just over 16 years - the last couple of years have presented her, the staff and us a family new challenges - but what is ever more clear through out these difficult times is that we all work so very hard together to achieve the very best care outcomes for her.
My sister is advocated for as if she were one of their own and this is so helpful to us as a family - together we have been able to access a complex management review and we are finally getting there with some potential answers that will be beneficial to all involved in her care - especially her.
I feel that this is the sort of thing i would have wanted to read in a review when we were making our life changing decision to accept care all those years ago. We cannot fault any aspect of this wonderful place.
Thank you very much Naomi for the wonderful review.
Fantastic home. Always happy with the standard here.
thank you very much for your lovely review. .
All the residents are treated with respect and compassion. Superbly managed and well maintained facility. Guests are greeted well and kept up to date with treatments. The craft sessions are well organised and are well attended. A perfect home that gives families "peace of mind".
thank you very much for your lovely review.
A fantastic setting. The staff are so professional, thoughtful, provide wonderful care, activities and attention to our dad. They have made him feel like this is his home and they are his wider family, all we could ask for.
thank you very much for your lovely review.
In my experience of the time I have come to see my brother. I am extremely impressed with the care, dignity, compassion, of how the staff are with the residents. The feel of the home is "home from home", safe, comfortable. The care my brother gets is outstanding. It gives great comfort to know he is settled and a part of a family. The staff make the home a "home", I cannot fault it. Thank you for caring. All the activities, physio for the residents is outstanding.
Thank you very much for your wonderful review.
I would recommend Meadow House to anyone needing extra support to meet their loved one's needs.
We really appreciate your kind words and are so pleased that you are able to progress in your career in the knowledge that your son is well cared for here at Meadow House. We will pass these kind words on to all the staff.
The activities there are excellent and there are always things going on for everyone to enjoy,
All staff from all departments are so caring and do a wonderful job, I can't praise them all enough.

Amazing staff, friendly, kind and reassuring. The home is very clean, cosy all the time, and the food for residents and visitors is absolutely amazing.
Thank you so much for your kind words! Will pass the message to the team!
After Dad was in hospital since July the night he came to Meadow House and since then we have slept knowing he is safe and cared for which is a massive weight of our minds.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! Our team will welcome your praise!
My wife has now settled at Meadow House and is happy and this is down to the love, care and respect given by all of the staff, including kitchen, cleaning, caring, nursing, maintenance and management. My family and I have the greatest respect for you all and can only thank you for making this transition as best as it could possibly be.
Thankyou.
NG (Husband of resident).
My sister and our mother were very close, I have visited my sister at Meadow House for many years. I feel sure my mother would approve of my findings.

“Staff genuinely enjoy spending time with the residents - there are many young people at the home and the work we do to help can be very rewarding. We ensure that every resident is entrusted to our care - they become like family to us.”

“Prior to my job here at Meadow House I worked previously in accounts when I left school for a large department store. To be good in my position I think you need to have good interaction with staff, residents, relatives and professionals. An ability to work under pressure and to meet targets. The best bit of my day is achieving set tasks and leaving enough time to attend to our residents”

“I decided to apply for my job at Meadow House after an interview I realised what a great place it would be to work. I think that my ability to listen, organisational skills and understanding of individual’s needs makes me stand out. I enjoy the variety of jobs that come my way and the interaction with the residents and staff”
