Despite the huge strain Covid impressed on the staff at Meadow House, their care did not fall short. As soon as able all the activities resumed and I am amazed at all events that are happening at the home. Difficult times are all around, however, Meadow House does not fall short in it's care.
Thank you so much Peter for your kind words and really appreciate this lovely review.
I went here for a week's respite. First time I have been in a care home. Well, what can I say. I can not praise this home enough. 5 stars and above on everything. The care I received was above and beyond perfection. The dedication and commitment from every member of staff were magnificent I could have not asked for more. The food was 5-star. Every meal was cooked and presented perfectly, which was what you would expect In a 5-star hotel. The housekeeping and cleaning staff worked so hard and everything was spot on. The carers made me so comfortable I felt part of the family they could not do enough for me you felt like a friend rather than just a resident passing through. Made me so happy as I was quite worried about going for respite, but your care and dedication to me meant so much. Head office should feel proud and honoured by what the team at Meadow House have achieved. Thank you to the handyman who also went out of his way to help. I thank you all. I will return.
Thank you so much for your kind words and we really appreciate this lovely review. I will pass on your review to our staff.
The care provided for my daughter is exceptional in every assistance she receives. She has been a resident for over 13 years and the whole staff knows how to handle her very complex moods. We are so grateful that she is so well looked after as we then have less to worry about. I can't praise them enough, I love them all.
Thank you so much for your kind words and we really appreciate this lovely review. I will pass on your review to our staff.
Great staff, residents cared for really well.
Clean and the food is really good.
All staff are very committed to making sure that all resident's individual needs are met.
They give us peace of mind to us knowing my sister-in-law is looked after really well.

I cannot express how grateful and overwhelmed by the care shown by the staff to my husband and all the residents. I don't know what I'd do without them.

I have found that nothing is ever too much trouble. The staff are so friendly and it feels like home from home. She is always clean and well looked after. She has been so much happier in herself since being here. Well done to all the staff.
Thank you so much for your kind words, we really appreciate you taking the time and will pass on your review to our staff.
As always I have no complaints at all. The staff have looked after my son exceptionally well. Even when I'm not able to visit they always keep me informed about his welfare, it's a great relief for me not to have to worry about him. As I've said many times before Meadow House should be the benchmark for every type of care home, with an emphasis on home because it is. All of the staff deserve medals.
Thank you so much for your kind words, we really appreciate you taking the time and will pass on your review to our staff.
My aunt had the very good fortune to spend the last few years of her life at Meadow House. She was treated with the greatest level of care, respect, affection and dignity by all the team there from the moment she arrived right up to the point that she died last October in her room. Living in Meadow House, she had the benefit of having family members living nearby, of course, we couldn't always be with her, but we soon realised that she had a new sort of family unit all around her of the numerous staff and the other residents. Those last few years were the best, happiest and healthiest times I had witnessed of her life since the death of her partner. I give thanks for those years, and on her behalf to the lovely people who live and work at Meadow House.
Thank you so much for your kind words, we really appreciate you taking the time and will pass on your review to our staff.
All the helpers and I are getting on. Getting on with every body.

This is fantastic for everybody.
My wife has been a resident at Meadow House for over ten years and during that time I have seen it improve -both the building and the staff. However, it is not the bricks and mortar that make this place an excellent place for her to be but the staff and management who are exceptional which is confirmed by the number of awards they now have as 'carers'.
Dear Peter, Thank you so much for your kind words, we really appreciate you taking the time and will pass on your review to our staff.
Management and staff are fantastic, they take time to listen to me and made me feel as though my daughter is a real person with needs and care, I cannot fault any part of Meadow House. I am delighted that my daughter was fortunate to get a placement in such a lovely home. Warm, friendly and spotless.

Whenever I visit, I have always had a very warm and friendly welcome by all members of staff. My friend is always very happy and well cared for, and her room is always lovely and clean and fresh. Always a pleasure to go there.

It's very clean, does not smell, the food is great and all the staff take the time to talk to her and make sure she's happy and comfortable. Pity she did not come to Meadow House in the first place.
Thank you so much for your kind words, they truly make a difference to our staff and I will make sure that they see your review.
Our son is so happy at Meadow House. All the staff are caring and loving towards all the residents, it really makes us so pleased that our son is living there.
Our son is happy and content living at Meadow House. The staff are all very good and show love and support to all the residents. They always make us welcome when we visit too. It's been a difficult 2 years due to COVID, but we've been able to visit our son through the window, in the pod and outside. Our son moved in nearly two years ago during COVID and with all the love and support from staff he has settled in well.
I think it was fantastic.
Dear David, Thank you so much for your lovely review. It is lovely to hear such wonderful compliments. I will personally pass this on to each and every one of my team, as they really do appreciate such recognition. Thank you again.

My friend was so happy they had a singer in the garden and everyone was having such a wonderful time. Meadow House by far is not just a nursing home it’s like walking into your own home. The staff, manager, admin and the activities are the best well done everyone, you're so amazing.

“Staff genuinely enjoy spending time with the residents - there are many young people at the home and the work we do to help can be very rewarding. We ensure that every resident is entrusted to our care - they become like family to us.”

“Prior to my job here at Meadow House I worked previously in accounts when I left school for a large department store. To be good in my position I think you need to have good interaction with staff, residents, relatives and professionals. An ability to work under pressure and to meet targets. The best bit of my day is achieving set tasks and leaving enough time to attend to our residents”

“I decided to apply for my job at Meadow House after an interview I realised what a great place it would be to work. I think that my ability to listen, organisational skills and understanding of individual’s needs makes me stand out. I enjoy the variety of jobs that come my way and the interaction with the residents and staff”
