Simply the best in all aspects with a community atmosphere.
Meadow House Nursing Home cared for my brother for around 4 years and I cannot fault the time, effort and patience of the staff at all levels and at all times. I would recommend Meadow House to anyone seeking such care without hesitation.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. It is lovely to hear such lovely compliments about our staff. I will personally pass this on to each and every one of our team. Thank you.
My dad had a very rare neurological condition. Whist at Meadow House the manager and her team went to extreme lenghts to learn and understand about this condition and gave care second to none. Not only was the nursing care outstanding, the everyday human kindness and extra special warmth that Dad received was too. On days I could not visit, I never worried because everything was in hand. He was clean, warm and, above all, loved.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. I will pass on your compliments to all of my team. It is a privilege to be able to look after your dad.
I have achieved a lot and I am very proud of myself for my achievement and that's all thanks to the support from all the staff, from housekeeping, laundry, nurses, kitchen personnel, carers and management.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. It is lovely to hear such lovely compliments about our staff. I will personally pass this on to our staff. Thank you.
A very well managed care home where the staff are friendly and cheerful. Nothing is too much trouble as they really do care.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. I will share this with all of my team. It is such a pleasure to look after your son.
My brother moved to Meadow House from London. From before he arrived the staff were excellent and covered everything. Since his arrival, things have got even better. Their goal is to improve the quality of his life and they god about this with empathy and genuine care. Top marks to all concerned - no reservations!
Thank you so much for your lovely review. It is lovely to hear such lovely compliments about our staff. I will personally pass this on to our staff and look forward to seeing you soon.
Very lovely and welcoming care home with a homely feel to it. Staff and management are always happy to help. Due to COVID-19, I have been unable to visit my friend who resides at Meadow House, but the home has always been very good at arranging video calls and socially distanced visits. Would highly recommend.
Thank you very much for such a lovely review, it is always lovely to see you when you are visiting your friend.
Meadow House to me is my home. I have lived here for ten years and I can only express the care given to me has been top rate. From the domestics, cleaners, care staff, nurses and management. I am a retired nurse and of course, am aware of what care is given etc. I can find no fault and can write this review with honesty and praise. A home willing to go the extra mile.
Thank you so much, for your kind words. We will pass them on to all the staff who I know do appreciate it. We are also honoured to care for you.
What a brilliant place this is. It is marvellous, how excellent. Superb, great staff!!
Thank you so much for your very kind words. It is an honour to know you and we will pass on your very kind words to all the staff here at Meadow House.
The home is well managed the staff are friendly and helpful. The atmosphere in the home is calm, clean and welcoming and the residents seem content. There are organised activities and all are encouraged to take part. The only problem seems to be in employing a physiotherapist.
Thank you very much for your review, and discussion we had regarding the activities.
I would like to give you an update that we have managed to employ a physiotherapist who will be starting on the 6th July 2020.
Meadow House is an extremely welcoming home. Staff are always happy to help and there’s a general homely feel. Lots of daily activities to entertain all residents with differing needs. Would highly recommend.
Thank you very much for your lovely review; we really appreciate your kind words.
Staff here are excellent in their interactions with the residents. This I have observed upon my stay here. I have observed staff acting caringly and professionally at all times. I enjoy my stay here at Meadow House because of the extremely good care of the residents. Everything I have observed is of high standard both cleanliness and professionalism. I would rate the level of care given a 5-star rating as this is my true account of my time here and what I have observed.
My wife was in the care of Meadow House from 1997 following a stroke. First in daycare until 2013, when full-time residential care was needed. Throughout this period she was treated with kindness and consideration by all the staff and had first-class nursing care. I cannot speak too highly of Meadow House on its entire staff.
Management and staff are always friendly when visiting. The carers are excellent at their jobs caring for their patients and there are always activities going on for everyone. I would recommend this nursing home to anyone if needed. Keep up the good work you all do.
Meadow House staff, at all levels, excelled themselves with thoughtfulness beforehand and the eventual specialist care for our daughter during a difficult family situation. They were attentive and responsive to all of her needs and took good care of her clothes and possessions. We applaud their expertise, humour and consideration of the whole family and dogs.
I came to Meadow House 8 years ago, and I had no plans for life, to be honest, I had really given up on the future. I had to be hoisted, I had no mobility and was morbidly obese. All I could do was watch TV and sleep. Now 8 years on I love my life, I love Meadow House and all that it has given me. I do arts and crafts and I go to a weekly weighing class. I have lost two and a half stone and am mobile with a frame. Management and staff have given me a purpose in life.

“Staff genuinely enjoy spending time with the residents - there are many young people at the home and the work we do to help can be very rewarding. We ensure that every resident is entrusted to our care - they become like family to us.”

“Prior to my job here at Meadow House I worked previously in accounts when I left school for a large department store. To be good in my position I think you need to have good interaction with staff, residents, relatives and professionals. An ability to work under pressure and to meet targets. The best bit of my day is achieving set tasks and leaving enough time to attend to our residents”

“I decided to apply for my job at Meadow House after an interview I realised what a great place it would be to work. I think that my ability to listen, organisational skills and understanding of individual’s needs makes me stand out. I enjoy the variety of jobs that come my way and the interaction with the residents and staff”
