Very happy with everything...
The staff are all very nice and friendly, I cannot complain in any way about them.
They are very attentive and always willing to help.
The cleanliness of the whole place is first class.
I think the activities are okay but would like to see more trips out.
This would stop people feeling so isolated.
All in all, I would say Meadow House is a very happy place to live and I personally have no complaint.
I would recommend the home to anyone.
A first class facility.
My wife was recently rushed into hospital with a UTI. I was away at the time and had to rely on family members to travel 50 miles to attend the hopsital at gone midnight. By the time they arrived, two members of staff from Meadow House had already arrived and were assisting in making my wife comfortable. Clearly well beyond their working hours.
The report I got back was that without their devotion my wife could not have survived the night. They continue that care now my wife is back at Meadow House. I am eternally grateful to them both.
Great activities, excellent physiotherapy, lovely staff, nice residents.
The manager is one of the nicest people that I ever meet.
Trips out are great fun and the home activities are excellent!
The staff are kind, friendly and genuinely do care for the patient.
I would happily recommend this home.
Meadow House Nursing Home is excellent. Staff are always, friendly and cheerful. The environment is bright and welcoming.
Very friendly environment. Staff always very helpful. My mum is well looked after. Very clean and homely. The menu is good with choices offered.
A friendly, clean, and odour free environment with very friendly staff. Have been using the facility for over two years and have noticed lots of improvement in the recent months. Could do with more staff to assist with the physio activities.
First impressions a lovely place. Rooms look lovely. My cousin looked after very well. What everybody would expect and want.
Amazing care, attention to detail. Well cared for, great hygiene. Staff are brilliant, friendly and welcoming. As a nursing home, on the whole, it is run extremely well.
Good carers, good place, excellent facilities. My brother has progressed really well since being at Meadow House down to the dedication of all the staff. My brother always seems happy here. The food is good. The location of the home is lovely with field views. As a family member I'm always made to feel welcome. Free car parking.
Care, compassion, and friendliness to both residents and family members are the cornerstone of policy at Meadow House. This is a great place to be with the accent on the positives for everything. Although extremely professional, the staff are very friendly and provide encouragement to "join in" for residents and family alike. It is not surprising to see Meadow House in the "outstanding" care category. Absolutely love the place and the people, staff and residents.
My cousin has the best care possible, she is very happy. What a lovely place to live.
Everywhere is so clean and the food, all home cooked. I should like to thank everyone who works here, the carers, the office staff, the cleaners and those who cook, they all make this an excellent place. Carry on the good work. Thank You.
I find that the home is very inviting, always clean and nicely decorated. The day I came they were going to have a Hawaiian Theme party in the evening. Nothing is too much trouble, I usually have lunch with my friend. My friend is very happy here as a resident, always telling me good things about Meadow House. The staff are all so friendly. Having had experience in nursing, I realise how much hard work goes into running a home like this to make it successful in every way.
All the staff are good fun. My first time in respite care and I'm enjoying it. The food is delicious I can have what I like. My bedroom is lovely. The games we play are good fun. I had a Spa Bath was the best ever. I look forward to coming back.
My son loves it here. He always comes home with a smile on his face. He is always so well cared for and all his needs are met. The staff are so friendly and very helpful. They always walk around the home with a smile in their face. Myself and my son are very happy with Meadow House and would highly recommend. Just to make you aware my son is unable to write his name, but has helped me fill this form in.
Meadow House is what I hoped it to be, clean, friendly and helpful. Staff are very helpful, kind and loving and know their job.
I have been visiting my friend at Meadow House for many years. Through my church I visit many care homes, but Meadow House is by far the most caring and carers interact with residents on a wonderful level - people are not neglected. Interaction is so important. As a visitor all staff are very pleasant with a lovely cheerful manner - never felt so comfortable as I do when I visit Meadow house. Thank you to all the staff and well done. You make a difference in such a positive manner.
I was very impressed when the staff said to me, we are here to care for your daughter, and we are here to support you too, that meant a lot. To know our daughter is happy gives us so much peace. We are made to feel so welcome when we visit. Meadow House is a wonderful place, and the staff are amazing.
We received a lovely welcome from the very beginning. Surroundings are wonderful, spotlessly clean. Staff respond instantly to any issues. Our daughter loves being here now as a permanent service user, and used to enjoy her respite care. Peace of mind for us that our daughter is so well cared for and that we can visit at any time.

“Staff genuinely enjoy spending time with the residents - there are many young people at the home and the work we do to help can be very rewarding. We ensure that every resident is entrusted to our care - they become like family to us.”

“Prior to my job here at Meadow House I worked previously in accounts when I left school for a large department store. To be good in my position I think you need to have good interaction with staff, residents, relatives and professionals. An ability to work under pressure and to meet targets. The best bit of my day is achieving set tasks and leaving enough time to attend to our residents”

“I decided to apply for my job at Meadow House after an interview I realised what a great place it would be to work. I think that my ability to listen, organisational skills and understanding of individual’s needs makes me stand out. I enjoy the variety of jobs that come my way and the interaction with the residents and staff”
