We found everyone at Grove Court to be very helpful and friendly. Following an operation, my mother needed respite care quickly and they were really efficient and helpful. It was such a great help. Whilst staying, my mother had a very restful time and was well cared for.

Wow - what an amazing care home! Every single member of staff is welcoming, polite, respectful, kind and compassionate. The home is spotlessly clean, the communal areas bright and welcoming and there is an overall feeling of happiness. My mother has struggled to accept her move into a care home but the staff have tailored their care so she feels secure and, over time, is much more settled. The leadership team are exemplary and instils a first-class culture which transcends throughout Grove Court. My mother has received the most kindest and compassionate care which enables us, as a family, to have peace of mind which is priceless. There is a wide-ranging activities programme available. The food looks good and the team have actively sought out my mother's likes and dislikes and is very accommodating of her preferences. I could not leave a review without mentioning the amazing grounds and gardens - simply beautiful and very well maintained. I have no hesitation in recommending Grove Court.

My husband was a resident in Grove Court for two years over which period he received excellent care and attention. I visited the home almost every day and always found it impeccably clean and tidy. The residents all seemed happy and content and I was made to feel one of the family. All staff very quickly became aware of and greeted me by my name. The gardens are exceptionally well looked after and it was a pleasure to be able to push my husband around the grounds on a sunny day. My husband always praised the standards of catering and enjoyed being able to meet with other residents in the restaurant. I could not have chosen a nicer home for my husband to spend his final days.

A dear friend of mine has just passed away in Grove Court having lived there for six and a half years.
The loving care she received throughout those years was exemplary and she considered Grove Court her home. The staff always made her visitors feel welcome and the building itself was always clean and tidy, with lovely seasonal displays of flowers on the grounds.
As her dementia declined she still recognised and felt safe with the staff who looked after her and the staff encouraged her to do any activities that she could still manage. Whenever I visited she was comfortable, clean and had easy and prompt access to staff.

Her end-of-life wishes were taken into account and followed. The staff kept me informed and were supportive of me as well.

Dad moved to Grove Court in September 2020 and sadly passed away in November 2022, aged 94. He had decided he needed the facilities of a residential home having found it increasingly difficult to cope at home following a number of falls. Whilst the initial move was difficult due to the Covid regulations, the staff at the home made the move a welcome one for him. The staff have been excellent, from reception through to the Care base team and we could not have wanted anything more for Dad. Catering was often described by Dad as Restaurant quality and he enjoyed the organised social events. Towards the end, the support, care and compassion given to Dad was outstanding. I have no hesitation in recommending Grove Court.

I came from a knee replacement at the hospital after 2 days there. I needed a bit of a break before returning alone to my home. Wonderful help and I was up and walking with aids the next day. I stayed ten days here. Great place - food and staff. I made a good choice. Thank you.

We are so pleased that our friends recommended Grove Court. Our mother was understandably concerned about the move from her own flat to home but she very quickly found her feet. She found having like-minded people around stimulating as she had increasingly been on her own all day. She enjoys her garden room and the ability to take walks on the grounds secure in the knowledge that, if she falls, she can call for help using the home key fob. The Grove Court team are wonderful. The gardens are an ever-changing delight, the catering wonderful and thoughtful, events and tours are frequent and fun and the medical team is caring and attentive. I cannot imagine a better place for her to be.

My mum lived at Grove Court for the last three years of her life. We wanted a nursing home where Mum would be happy and receive the best level of nursing care. Grove Court delivered on both fronts. Mum settled in very quickly, made lots of friends and was extremely happy. Nothing was too much trouble and every member of staff was professional, helpful and very caring. I could see that Mum was in safe hands and was given the highest standards of care. The home has a very welcoming feel and the facilities and social activities, ranging from one-to-one sessions right up to outings, are amazing.
Even during the pandemic when we could not visit, we had regular e-mail updates. The high standard of care was maintained and the staff never tired of my daily phone calls to see how Mum was doing. The social events team arranged for us to see Mum on Skype calls twice a week which was fantastic.

I have no hesitation in recommending Grove Court as an outstanding home.

My stay came up to my expectations of a week's holiday. I was able to see my daughter, son-in-law and grandson. Parties almost daily. Followed my daughter's programme so did not need to partake in activities, at home I do. I met other friends from Norfolk. A happy friendly place. I agree that anyone sits anywhere for meals, but in my case, I would have liked a member of staff to find a place for me. Myself, staff and visitors could not turn on TV or off, it was not a case of batteries. The TV should be checked before a new person comes into a room. There was a blip one morning in my routine - I received an apology. The room was not cleaned every day.

My mother stayed at Grove Court for a week. This enabled me to visit my family and see my new grandchild. My mother was apprehensive as it was to be her first time staying in a care home.
Her room and surroundings were clean, bright and comfortable. The support and care she received from the staff was warm and caring which brought out Mum's personality.

Mum was pleased to return to her own bed after her week's stay but the most important thing to mention is Mum will happily stay again at Grove Court when the need arises. The week's stay has now removed the stress and anxiety that comes alongside the need for support for our elderly loved ones when we are unable to be there. Thank you to all at Grove Court.

A dear friend of mine initially went to Grove Court last year for respite care which was then extended and she ended up staying until she passed away last month aged nearly 94. The care she received at all times during her stay was superb and the staff went above and beyond to make her feel at home and also to support her in her final hours. The location and grounds are beautiful, the food and menu choices excellent and everywhere is kept spotlessly clean. A variety of activities were always on offer and my friend particularly enjoyed an outing to Felixstowe and a trip around Woodbridge! I always received a warm welcome when visiting and communication was always excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Grove Court to anyone looking for a caring, supportive home from home.

My father initially came to Grove Court Care Home for two weeks of respite following the sad death of his wife. Although initially reticent about using a care home, after four days, he made the decision to stay in the home permanently. He quickly found that the excellent staff, facilities and care made him comfortable and welcome. He was also pleased to have a new social life, with staff providing social activities which he could join in with other residents, ensuring that he didn't have to spend his final year alone.

In short, Grove Court made every effort to make my father's stay pleasurable, even during Covid lockdown, with nothing ever being too much trouble to the care home and its staff.

My father received excellent care throughout his time as a resident of Grove Court. The staff were at all times caring, attentive and professional and always went the extra mile to help him. They maintained these standards throughout the pandemic and rose admirably to the challenges it presented. They did all they could to make Grove Court a home from home for my father, including by encouraging him to participate in thoughtful and well-planned social activities and events such as the recent, excellent Jubilee party. All in all my family and I are very glad that my father was able to move to Grove Court once he could no longer remain in his own home.

I chose Grove Court for my mother, aged 90, when she decided in May that she was ready for a care home as I was aware of its excellent reputation - only the best is good enough for my precious mother. She has settled, made friends, joins in and just last week told me she now sees it as home. The home is kept to a very high standard and is a pleasure to visit. The staff throughout are caring, respectful, kind and attentive to needs. I cannot speak highly enough of everyone who makes this a true home from home. The gardens and grounds are also outstanding.

I don't think it would be possible to give this care home a better review. The place has a really good feel from the moment you walk through the front door. Staff are always helpful and welcoming. They make a special effort to attend to the residents and their relatives' individual needs with particular attention to detail. They have made every possible effort to keep our family connected during the pandemic with regular Zoom meetings each week requiring a member of staff to assist my mother with the technology - an absolute 'godsend'.

It has been our pleasure and privilege to care for your parents and get to know you and the family so well. Dad has been a resident of Grove Court for more than a year now, having reached the point where he could no longer safely live alone after a number of years of carers going into his own house. It was a difficult decision all round, but the right one, and we count ourselves extremely fortunate that he was able to find a room in such a superb facility. The whole team have been absolutely excellent from the very first day and especially so during the current pandemic. I can't praise them highly enough for their friendly, professional, caring approach. Thank you, everyone at Grove Court.

My mother went into Grove Court three years ago aged 95. She is now very frail and on end of life care. The home is well managed, and communication between them and me has been good. The care has been very thorough, and with great respect shown to the resident’s individual needs and wishes. Since my mother has been very frail, I’ve seen staff being loving to her, which is a comfort to both of us. They have also been sensitive to me.
