Overall Experience

I came for convalescence following surgery. It enabled me to regain strength and confidence ready to go home and look after myself. The staff were cheerful and willing - nothing seemed too much trouble for them - bells were answered quickly. Nights were quiet so I was able to sleep.

Overall Experience
Excellent accommodation, facilities, set in well-maintained gardens with lots of flowers. Staff are very attentive, caring and quick to address any request for help, day or night. Meals are well cooked, attentively presented and with a balanced daily menu.

Social activities programme. Strikes a nice balance with a variety of music, art, films, flower arranging, scrabble and coffee mornings.

I have spent the last 10 years working in a care setting, developing my knowledge and growing to love this profession. I have a true passion for delivering person-centred care to the highest standard. Well-being and enrichment are my focus here at Grove Court for both staff and residents.

My drive and dedication will enable us to continue delivering the best care for our residents, along with maintaining independence, freedom of choice and having a jolly good time. For me, there is nothing more rewarding than a room full of smiling faces and the sound of laughter around our beautiful home. I feel very privileged to be given the opportunity to be the General Manager of Grove Court with an amazing team around me.
