My father lived at Larkhall Springs Nursing Home for almost two years. He died on Feb 14th 2022. He had dementia and was receiving end of life care towards the end. In the two years he lived there, he received a high quality of care. All the staff were always very respectful and treated him with dignity. High quality "person-centred care"!
Thank you very much for your lovely review. It is extremely rewarding to know that our residents, family and friends are happy with the home, the care and the services we offer. Warm regards.
Our family are incredibly grateful to all the staff at Larkhall Springs who have been looking after our mother this year. They are always welcoming to us, keep us informed and very friendly and caring to all the residents. The home is always bright and clean and having the option of conservatory/pod visits helps everyone feel safe during these difficult times. It is very reassuring to us to know that our mother is in such professional hands. Thank you.

Larkhall Springs is a most pleasant, sunny and attractive place to visit and I always enjoyed the hours I spent there quietly at my husband’s bedside. Thank you for making what could have been a difficult and unknown experience so acceptable and easy. It made the bereavement path a gentler one for me and my family.

My mother moved to the home during the middle of lockdown/pandemic. It has been a challenging time for us and the care home has been supportive to us all. The care home staff are always helpful and are very caring to my mum.

My father was transferred to Larkhall Springs in October 2020, from the hospital, having dementia and declining health with metastatic cancer. Despite this being a very difficult time during the autumn pandemic lockdown, I was relieved my father was going to be safe and looked after in a care home that also provided nursing care. The Larkhall Springs manager and kind nursing staff were and are very supportive whenever I call to speak to my father or ask them for updates on his health. The staff on the reception desk is also very helpful and welcoming during any call or visit. It was a huge relief and very grateful when the visiting pod was set up in their conservatory at the end of October 2020. All staff work extremely hard and do their very best to provide care and support to both resident and their family. Every member of staff I have spoken to are always polite and friendly and caring. I am extremely grateful to the care team and am very happy my father was placed here.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a wonderful review. Kind words like yours keep our staff inspired through their days of hard work. We are extremely proud of our staff and manager who continue to uphold our high standards. The pandemic has been incredibly difficult for us all, however,...
Cannot praise Larkhill Springs Nursing Home highly enough. The initial transfer of care was smooth and reassuring. The nurses, carers and GP services were excellent. Her room was spotless. Meals provided were adapted to meet her needs as needs changed. A very well managed home. Such kind, caring and professional staff. We were regularly updated and our visits accommodated. A very difficult time, but our huge thanks to all at Larkhill Springs.
My mother moved in during the 2020 Covid pandemic. The staff were amazing under very challenging circumstances and worked hard enabling visits when they could during difficult circumstances. Thank you for all you did for my Mum for the 6 months she was with you.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a wonderful review. Kind words like yours keep our staff inspired through their days of hard work. We have passed on your comments to our team at Larkhall and they have been very grateful to receive them.
Our Mum was only at Larkhall Springs for a few weeks at the end of her life while suffering from dementia. The standard of care she received was excellent and the staff were always caring and considerate. The humility shown by a staff member, in particular, was outstanding.

Extremely good care taken of my 94-year-old mother with dementia. Staff are cheery and very accomodating. Mum is kept clean, warm and well, nothing is left to chance. The food is amazing. The home is kept exceptionally clean. I'm so glad Mum is there and is generally very happy and settled there.
The staff and manager have been very caring and supportive of mum and myself.
My mother spent the last six months of her life at Larkhall Springs and we could not have found a better place for her. The staff without exception were wonderful and treated my mother with dignity, compassion and love. My mother celebrated her 100th Birthday there and a lovely birthday party was arranged for her which despite her frailty she enjoyed very much. Everything was done to make her last days comfortable and she passed away peacefully in her sleep.
The staff at Larkhall deal with my brother-in-law in a sensitive and caring way. They have infinite patience when dealing with him (he is often very difficult to deal with and can be aggressive).
I have been so impressed by the care given to my mother at Larkhall Springs. All the staff without exception have been kind, concerned and intuitive. Standards of cleanliness and furnishings are also exemplary. Thank you so much!
