Since my mother became a resident in December 2015, I have been very impressed with Larkhall Springs. The staff are caring and supportive to both residents and families. Facilities are excellent, especially since the refurbishment. Everything is clean and well equipped and the food is excellent for
the residents.
My only criticism would be the activities which have been good in the past but, in the last few weeks, there seems to be little going on. The positive approach of previous coordinators is clearly lacking. This is less important for my mother but even she enjoyed the fun and jollity of previous activities staff.

My mother has been at Larkhall Springs for 11 months. She is 97 years old and has rapidly declined. The staff have cared for her exquisitely and have endeavoured to meet both her physical, social and well-being needs. She has been well cared for and I believe feels loved.

The carers are both caring and professional in the service they deliver. Taking time out when I visit to update me on my Aunt’s state of health.
Suffering from dementia my Aunt is being supported with activities to help keep her mind stimulated and the patience shown by the staff is incredible.

My father has been in the home for over two years now suffering from dementia and Parkinson's. He quickly settled into the home and has received excellent care from all the staff with them adapting to her needs as necessary. The staff are very caring to my father. The level of hygiene, activities in
the day for residents is very good. He could not be in a better place.

My stepdad with dementia resided at this care home until his death (1 year). He received genuine care, time and attention from all of the staff, both clinical and non-clinical.


My stepdad was a much loved and popular resident, and in his better moments, he often spoke fondly of the staff, the food

and attention he received. As his close family, both my mum and I would like to say a huge thank you to the team and for their efforts to be recognised.

Mum is a new resident. She was warmly welcomed and individually is respected. Everything is organised, clean and fresh. Staff are very observant and attentive. I am very welcome and offered refreshments and listened to. There are some concerns which are listened to and responded to. I am confident they
will be addressed in time.

Larkhall Springs Nursing Home has been the care home of my lovely uncle for approx. 14 years now. I cannot begin to convey my thanks and gratitude to the fabulous staff nurses and care assistants alike. As a nurse myself I can honestly say he would not have received such professionalism and compassionate
care in any greater measure in any other care facility. He is immobile since his stroke 14 years ago and doe snot have one skin abrasion or pressure sore, his skin integrity and personal hygiene are immaculate. The staff kept him with such dignity and respect. It means the world to my family that he is cared for so well. Thank you all so very much, amazing place.

Mum moved to Larkhall after some time in hospital. She was pleased with her spacious and Lightroom and settled in faster than I had expected. The staff at Larkhall be the be the nurses, carers or handyman were gentle, respectful and kind to mum who told me she must be special as they looked after her
so well. She enjoyed the food which was just the sort of thing mum wanted to eat. Mum was sadly only there for 7 weeks and at the end Larkhall staff supported mym and my sister and me. I recommend Larkhall Springs.

I value the spirit of Larkhall Springs. The staff are warm and friendly not only to my wife but to me too.
The home has run smoothly during the alterations over the last few months.
The one critical comment I have is that there is not infrequently a 15 to 20-minute delay in responding to a request
for the hoist at c. 4.30 to 4.45pm.
