Overall Experience

I am satisfied with the care my husband receives, always plenty of food when I come to feed him. His clothes are always very clean, also my husband. His room is adequate for his needs. It is lovely to have a garden to take my husband in when the weather gets warmer.

Wonderful care, approachable when any help is needed. Nothing is too much trouble. When we visit we are taken care of and made very welcome. We also get a nice drink.

Review from John D (Son of Resident) published on 2 April 2019 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
Following my father having a lengthy hospital stay and his previous care home not being able to provide the care he would need, he took up residence in May 2018 and had a wonderful 10 months on the Lymore wing. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, caring and kind to him and he made some good friends, both with the staff, other residents and visitors. This was a vast improvement on the previous couple of years prior to moving to Culverhayes where he had not wanted to mix with other people. The continuing wonderful care and warmth provided by the staff and management to both dad and us, the family, continued right up to dad sadly leaving us. At that distressing time, the staff and management provided great comfort and support to us helping us get through.

Thank you to all involved at Culverhayes Nursing Home in following the motto 'Giving life to years' for my father.

Overall Experience

Over the 2.5 years my mother was at Culverhayes I was very pleased with the standard of care provided to her. This was given with the utmost affection, kindness and sensitivity by all members of staff. She had found it difficult to settle elsewhere but immediately responded well to the approach taken at Culverhayes. I have only the highest praise for all the staff. Visitors are warmly welcomed and I have very happy memories of my mother's time there.
