I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the home to anyone.

The professional care and dedication to all the staff at Aabletone for my father is first class. They all looked after him well. Very pleasant and friendly as they go about their work. Brilliant.

The impressive period care home is set in beautiful peaceful surroundings next to the botanical gardens. The manager is excellent with her patients, visitors and staff alike, as well as being extremely efficient in all areas. The atmosphere there is extremely welcoming, happy and friendly with plenty of smiles. The manager and staff work hard as a team and are always helpful and supportive to their patients and their families. There are plenty of activities available in-house and local trips out.

It was a pleasure to visit my sister at Aabletone as the staff were genuinely pleased to help. They took care of my sister and enjoyed their work. Nothing was too much trouble. I can't thank them enough. First class people worth their weight in gold. If the funds could ever stretch to it a bigger lift would be an asset. Other than that I loved the actual building, its layout was welcoming and homely. Exactly what I wanted to find when I was looking for the right home for my sister. This nursing home has it all.

The staff are really lovely and caring. The home itself is beautiful with an accessible well maintained garden.

My mother has been in Aabletone since the end of July having previously been in hospital for four weeks due to a fractured hip. The home is very welcoming with a bright and airy day room leading to a garden with a patio area surrounded by flowers. My mother’s room overlooks this lovely space and is very light and sunny. The staff are very caring, friendly and professional and my mum is now thriving despite her great frailty. Her appetite has improved and she looks so much better than when she was in a previous residential home. Requests are promptly dealt with and I am constantly updated on any developments that occur. I am very happy that my mother will spend the rest of her life being so well cared for.

I very much hope to live out the rest of my happy days here.

I have been very pleased with the care I have received at Aabletone. My worry is the staff are put among patients before being properly trained. There are times when they think it is not compulsory to make a bed. This is fine by me but there are times when I worry about patients who are not able to make their wishes known. I am sure there are staff that would like to give that little extra care but they have not got the time as they are rushed.
