My mother-in-law was at Druid Stoke for 2 years.
During her time at the home, she was cared for with kindness, dignity and laughter from all staff. Her last few months were spent in the nursing unit when her health began to deteriorate.

All the family wish Druid Stoke our thanks for making an elderly lady's last years happy.

What a find! Druid Stoke Care Home is a handsome listed building with a sunny garden and is a wonderful care home in every respect. Public rooms and bedrooms are clean and bright. The staff are really caring, friendly, understanding and efficient. There are social activities and daily menu choices and there's a lovely atmosphere from the moment you enter the home. My husband has had three respite stays here and I can't fault the care that is taken of him. Thank you!

I cannot rate Druid Stoke and their wonderful staff highly enough.

My father came here following surgery and was in the nursing section due to dressings needing to be changed. The improvement in my father during his two-week stay was remarkable and this was definitely down to the care of such wonderful staff who understood him, his needs and went out of their way to ensure he was happy and felt looked after. By the time he left to go home he was walking the corridors waving at other residents and helping with the tea trolley, even doing physio and activities in the day room which I would never have said he would do beforehand. Thank you so much, in time to come if we are looking for care for either of my parents this will be the first place we come too! Thank you.

Wonderful, kind and caring team. Clean and tidy rooms. Pleasant and tranquil decorations with a quirky sense of love for life ambience. The perfect place, if there ever is one, for end-of-life care for my father. Thank you so much to the lovely care home manager who made me so welcome and went out of her way to accommodate me and my dad's last wishes, she even joined us and held his hand with me as he passed. Amazing service, thank you.

My mother spent two weeks trialling the home over Christmas and then made the decision to move here permanently. The home has a lovely homely feel - the decor and furnishings are of high quality - with a country house feel. Most importantly, the quality of the care she has received has been exceptional. All staff at the home have been incredibly friendly and caring and great care is taken with each resident. A lot of thought goes into the activities and there is a very warm welcome whenever I visit. There appear to be plenty of caters on hand to provide support and, having visited many times while mum settles in, I can vouch for the level of individual care and attention provided. The staff here really appear to want to do a great job. Mum feels safe and happy and has settled in so much quicker than she and we expected. This lovely home is a million miles away from some of the horror stories you read about. Very happy we chose Druid Stoke.

All the staff at Druid Stoke Care Home were brilliant. They cared for me, ensuring I was comfortable and safe. The nursing staff were very considerate of my pain and helped with medication. Respectful housekeeping and carers were so kind and helpful. All staff were kind, considerate and very friendly and supportive. They made my respite stay enjoyable. Thank you so much for everything. Food was mostly satisfactory, sometimes good, sometimes poor.

My mother was a resident of the care home for over three years. Her health deteriorated about six weeks ago, and following several visits to the hospital, she was transferred back to the nursing home in the adjoining building. The staff in both places treated my mum with respect and great care, and she looked upon all of them as an extension of her own family. My family and I owe the staff so much for ensuring that her final years were spent in a safe environment.

As the brother to my sister who died in November last year, I cannot thank the team for their wonderful care of my sister whilst she was in the home for a period of years. The whole team were truly wonderful to my sister and they treated her as one of their own.

Myself and my sisters are very pleased with the care and attention given to our mother who has Lewy body dementia. It’s not an easy time to see loved ones go into a home so understandably you want the best care. We have found the home very caring and helping with good standards all around. If we or Mum have any concerns they deal with it straight away which we are very grateful for. It’s been difficult times to operate under and we are thankful for the high standards and hard work of all involved. Highly recommend you view here, you won’t be disappointed.

This was my husband's second stay at Druid Stoke Care Home. We cannot fault the home or staff at all. My husband has vascular dementia after a stroke last year. He is always so full of it when he comes home. Just wants to keep talking about his week spent there. The staff make us so welcome when we arrive and are very kind when we leave. Hoping to spend another week in October. Such a wonderful help for me.

I am very pleased with the care my husband is being given by members of your staff. All the staff I have spoken to have been helpful to myself and other members of our family. My husband has now settled in at the home and is as happy as he can be at this time. However, on the first day he arrived at the home, one member of staff was very sharp to other members of the team but also to me, this was upsetting at the time of stress to myself and my husband.

Druid Stoke is such a fantastic, happy care home and I can’t thank them enough for the exceptional care they showed to Mum during her five years there. All staff, most of whom had been there since Mum moved in (which is saying something) were genuinely so kind, caring and respectful and were really like part of the family! Daily activities were varied and great fun - I spent many a happy hour joining in and was always made to feel very welcome.
The end of life care Mum received, which I witnessed first hand, was amazing. She was treated with such love, kindness and respect. They looked after and supported me similarly during this time, and afterwards, which helped me enormously.

I would have no hesitation recommending Druid Stoke and never had any doubts Mum could have been anywhere better. I’ll move in myself when/if the time comes.

The staff are very friendly, caring and attentive to my mother’s needs. Communication from the care home has not been very good over the past year but in the last couple of months, this has improved. My mother does not participate in activities by her own choice but the staff have been helpful in trying to encourage her to. The building is very clean and a pleasant environment.
