During her time at the home, she was cared for with kindness, dignity and laughter from all staff. Her last few months were spent in the nursing unit when her health began to deteriorate.
All the family wish Druid Stoke our thanks for making an elderly lady's last years happy.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are very happy to hear you felt at ease with your Mother-In-Law in our care and that she was cared for with kindness and dignity. What a find! Druid Stoke Care Home is a handsome listed building with a sunny garden and is a wonderful care home in every respect. Public rooms and bedrooms are clean and bright. The staff are really caring, friendly, understanding and efficient. There are social activities and daily menu choices and there's a lovely atmosphere from the moment you enter the home. My husband has had three respite stays here and I can't fault the care that is taken of him. Thank you!
Thank you for your lovely review. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your husband in our care. It is always nice to hear from family members feeling like their loved one is cared for and looked after. Thank you for choosing Druid Stoke for your stay and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
My father came here following surgery and was in the nursing section due to dressings needing to be changed. The improvement in my father during his two-week stay was remarkable and this was definitely down to the care of such wonderful staff who understood him, his needs and went out of their way to ensure he was happy and felt looked after. By the time he left to go home he was walking the corridors waving at other residents and helping with the tea trolley, even doing physio and activities in the day room which I would never have said he would do beforehand. Thank you so much, in time to come if we are looking for care for either of my parents this will be the first place we come too! Thank you.
Thank you for your kind words. We are glad to help you and your family through such a difficult time. It is always nice to hear from family members feeling like their loved one is cared for and looked after. Hopefully, you will go away from this feeling like your loved one received the best possible care and thank you for choosing Druid Stoke for his stay.
Wonderful, kind and caring team. Clean and tidy rooms. Pleasant and tranquil decorations with a quirky sense of love for life ambience. The perfect place, if there ever is one, for end-of-life care for my father. Thank you so much to the lovely care home manager who made me so welcome and went out of her way to accommodate me and my dad's last wishes, she even joined us and held his hand with me as he passed. Amazing service, thank you.
Thank you for your kind words. We are saddened to hear about your loss. We hope Druid Stoke Care Home did everything possible to make the transition as easy as possible and we are very happy to hear you felt at ease with your father in our care. Hopefully, you will go away from this feeling like your loved one received the best possible care.
My mother spent two weeks trialling the home over Christmas and then made the decision to move here permanently. The home has a lovely homely feel - the decor and furnishings are of high quality - with a country house feel. Most importantly, the quality of the care she has received has been exceptional. All staff at the home have been incredibly friendly and caring and great care is taken with each resident. A lot of thought goes into the activities and there is a very warm welcome whenever I visit. There appear to be plenty of caters on hand to provide support and, having visited many times while mum settles in, I can vouch for the level of individual care and attention provided. The staff here really appear to want to do a great job. Mum feels safe and happy and has settled in so much quicker than she and we expected. This lovely home is a million miles away from some of the horror stories you read about. Very happy we chose Druid Stoke.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your kind words. We are very happy to hear you feel at ease with your Mother in our care at Druid Stoke and that she has settled so well. We will certainly pass your lovely feedback on to the home's management team and we hope to continue providing your Mother with the best possible care.
All the staff at Druid Stoke Care Home were brilliant. They cared for me, ensuring I was comfortable and safe. The nursing staff were very considerate of my pain and helped with medication. Respectful housekeeping and carers were so kind and helpful. All staff were kind, considerate and very friendly and supportive. They made my respite stay enjoyable. Thank you so much for everything. Food was mostly satisfactory, sometimes good, sometimes poor.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease in our care. It is always nice to hear words like "friendly" and "supportive" being used to describe our care. Thank you for choosing Druid Stoke for your stay.
My mother was a resident of the care home for over three years. Her health deteriorated about six weeks ago, and following several visits to the hospital, she was transferred back to the nursing home in the adjoining building. The staff in both places treated my mum with respect and great care, and she looked upon all of them as an extension of her own family. My family and I owe the staff so much for ensuring that her final years were spent in a safe environment.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your lovely review. It is always nice to hear from family members feeling like their loved one was cared for and looked after. Hopefully, you will go away from this feeling like your loved one received the best possible care.
My auntie passed away recently and the care and consideration could not have been better.
My auntie had been at Druid Stoke for three years and was very happy and the attitude of all the staff also made it a happy place to visit.
I could not recommend this care home highly enough.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us your comments. We are glad to help you and your family through such a difficult time and we hope that you will go away from this feeling like your loved one received the best possible care.
M wife was put in the home for post-operative (new knee) care for one week only. All in comprehensive care and help most welcome. Am most impressed.

Mum has recently moved into Druid Stoke Care Home and it is excellent. All the staff, without exception, are caring, respectful and friendly but professional. Fantastic. Thank you.
Thank you for your kind words. We are so happy to hear that you have found all our staff to be caring, respectful and friendly. We really appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review.
My godmother receives the highest quality nursing care, as well as being professional at all times. The staff were so friendly, understanding, kind and caring - they really made my relative's stay as pleasant as possible for her and for her family.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are so happy to hear that you found the care provided to be of the highest quality. Thank you for choosing Druid Stoke for your loved one's care.
I cannot repay you for all the love, care and attention that you gave her, especially in her last days.
Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you for your kind words. Hopefully, you are able to go away from this comforted by knowing that your sister received the very best of care at Druid Stoke. Thank you again.
I would come back again.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your comments. It is lovely to hear that you would stay again.
Myself and my sisters are very pleased with the care and attention given to our mother who has Lewy body dementia. It’s not an easy time to see loved ones go into a home so understandably you want the best care. We have found the home very caring and helping with good standards all around. If we or Mum have any concerns they deal with it straight away which we are very grateful for. It’s been difficult times to operate under and we are thankful for the high standards and hard work of all involved. Highly recommend you view here, you won’t be disappointed.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your comments, It is always nice to hear from family members feeling like their loved one is cared for and looked after, Thank you for your recommendation and please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your Mothers stay as comfortable as possible.
Very happy with the care however the food could've been better.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your comments about the food, we will pass this on to the manager to look into. Thank you.
This was my husband's second stay at Druid Stoke Care Home. We cannot fault the home or staff at all. My husband has vascular dementia after a stroke last year. He is always so full of it when he comes home. Just wants to keep talking about his week spent there. The staff make us so welcome when we arrive and are very kind when we leave. Hoping to spend another week in October. Such a wonderful help for me.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are so glad to hear that your husband enjoys his stays with us. We look forward to welcoming him again in October.
I am very pleased with the care my husband is being given by members of your staff. All the staff I have spoken to have been helpful to myself and other members of our family. My husband has now settled in at the home and is as happy as he can be at this time. However, on the first day he arrived at the home, one member of staff was very sharp to other members of the team but also to me, this was upsetting at the time of stress to myself and my husband.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your comments. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your husband in our care. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your husband's stay as comfortable as possible.
The end of life care Mum received, which I witnessed first hand, was amazing. She was treated with such love, kindness and respect. They looked after and supported me similarly during this time, and afterwards, which helped me enormously.
I would have no hesitation recommending Druid Stoke and never had any doubts Mum could have been anywhere better. I’ll move in myself when/if the time comes.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are saddened by your loss but hopefully you can go away knowing that the care your mum received in her last days was "amazing" and that during her time with us she was happy and played a full part in our Druid Stoke family. Thank you for your recommendation and please do let us know if we can help again in future.
Druid Stoke take very good care of my mum and have worked very hard over the last 14 months to maintain virtual communications with all members of our family.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your comments. Thank you.
The staff are very friendly, caring and attentive to my mother’s needs. Communication from the care home has not been very good over the past year but in the last couple of months, this has improved. My mother does not participate in activities by her own choice but the staff have been helpful in trying to encourage her to. The building is very clean and a pleasant environment.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your comments. It is lovely to hear words like friendly, caring and attentive. We hope to continue providing your loved one with the best possible care.

Meet the Team (5)

I have 22 years of experience in managing care homes and have managed a variety of settings including residential, nursing, dementia care and domiciliary services. I have experience working with charities and private and local authorities. I commenced my early years as a carer and worked my way to become a home manager.
I'm inspired by how much we can make a difference in people's lives. I love working with people and am passionate about delivering exemplary service. I especially enjoy the variety that each day brings. Our focus is delivering great quality care and ensuring that the resident/s are at the centre of everything that we do.
Outside of work, I love sports and believe that being active is the key. I love CrossFit, Hyrox and walking. Aside from that, I love spending time with my little boy.

My name is Kelcey, and I am the non-clinical unit manager at Druid Stoke. I have worked for Bupa since 2015. I began my career as a care assistant at Druid Stoke before transferring to one of our sister homes, Elm Grove, in 2024. I returned to Druid Stoke in 2025.
I live in Bristol with my husband, Billy and 2 children, Myla and Creed. Outside of work, I love to cook and am a bit of a foodie.

I love to care for other people, I have a natural ability to listen and be kind. I completed my qualifications in business management and then I moved to the UK from Sri Lanka.
I enjoy seeing our residents are happy, it is my priority that I care for them well.
My children are at the centre of my world, so I spend much of my free time with them and my husband I enjoy doing crafts, and I have hairdressing and beauty qualifications too.

I have been part of the Druid Stoke team since 2018 when I was successful in obtaining my role as Kitchen Assistant.
I especially enjoy having the opportunity to interact with residents and I will help them in any way I can, catering to meet each and every need.
I love football and I support Man United, in my spare time I enjoy watching football and spending time with my sister’s children.

I joined Druid Stoke's team in 2018 as a Housekeeper. With the experience and knowledge gained in my original role, I was successful in a promotion to Head Housekeeper.
The role was suggested to me by my sister who also works at Druid Stoke, she knew it was perfect for me and she loves working here, so I was especially thrilled to join her and the rest of the Team at Druid Stoke.
I most enjoy caring for and helping our residents, it's lovely getting to know them all and building rapport with their families. All staff at Druid Stoke are like a big family.
In my free time, my hobbies include maintaining my classic Mini and meeting up with club members. I also enjoy the weekends away camping with the mini clubs. Another hobby I love is gardening.
