The home is clean and tidy, my mum's room is cleaned daily.
When it comes to food it is incredible, all the food is cooked fresh daily, the residents have the choice of what they would like to eat and the kitchen staff prepare and cook everything to the highest standard.
Overall Druid Stoke care home is a lovely caring safe place for your loved ones who just need a little bit more help in life, and from the bottom of my heart I can never thank them enough for the care they have given my mother .
Thank you for your kind words. It is always so nice to hear our staff being described as amazing. I will certainly pass your lovely comments on to the whole team. Thank you for choosing us to look after your Mum.
Always found staff to be extremely helpful and nothing is too much trouble, from kitchen staff to nurses, right across the board. We are always greeted with a smile and if we had to single out anybody it would be the staff who keeps us informed on a regular basis.
Thank you for your lovely review. It is great to hear that you always feel informed of your loved ones well being by the staff. Thank you for your recommendation.
I have been associated with Druid Stoke Residential Home for over 12 years, my aunt has been a resident since July 2009 and is now 102 years old and still going strong! I am her next of kin and persuaded her and her late husband to come to Bristol after spending 62 years living and working in Paris, so I had to choose a home for them without their input in any way! I was very fortunate to decide on Druid Stoke, they haven't let me down. I have found the care and attention that staff have consistently given my aunt to be of the highest standard, and I feel very lucky to have had the chance to discover this delightful home and to see her looked after so kindly, professionally and diligently (she's not always the easiest of people to please!) over all these years. I hope there are many more years to come.
Thank you for your lovely review. It is always nice to hear from family members feeling like their loved one is cared for and well looked after. We certainly hope to continue providing your Aunt with the best possible care! Thank you again.
Staff very friendly and home clean and tidy, relaxed atmosphere, lovely gardens.
The home manager is a huge support to us all. Dad completely loved her.
We really appreciate you taking the time to leave us such kind comments.
Mum has always been looked after carefully and kindly. She was very confused when she first went in and was always dealt with patiently. Mum has now developed a good rapport with the carers and nursing staff. Whenever we speak to her, she always seems happy. Thank you.
Thank you for your kind words, we are always pleased to hear that our residents feel like part of the Druid Stoke family.
During the current Coronavirus pandemic, Druid Stoke staff and families have worked hard to ensure the home have remained Covid free. We have been able to keep in contact with Mother weekly.
Thank you. We are glad to help you and your family through such a difficult time.
Mum has been in Druid Stoke since October 2019 receiving palliative care. This was new for all of us, and all the staff made us (including mum) feel very welcome and put our minds at ease. Mum has settled in really well, and I cannot fault the staff at all. Especially in these uncertain times with COVID-19, they have kept in touch with us and set up weekly Skype calls so my sister, mum and I can enjoy a virtual conversation, as we are unable to visit. Amazing home and amazing staff. Definitely a 10/10 from me.
We really appreciate you taking the time to leave us such lovely comments regarding Druid Stoke Care Home. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your Mum in our care, we are glad to help you and your family through such a difficult time. Thank you for trusting us with your loved one’s care.
Mum is now in her ninth month of living at Druid Stoke Care Home, and she has received consistently good care from day one. Before lockdown in March, all family members were welcomed with kindness. Since lockdown, staff have worked hard to keep spirits up for Mum by taking the time to exchange a few works passing her door and fo us with weekly Skype calls.
Thank you for your kind words. It is always nice to hear from family members feeling like their loved one is cared for and looked after. Please let us know if there is anything more we can do to make your Mum's stay as comfortable as possible.
Druid Stoke has taken excellent care of my parent. The staff is kind, welcoming, and interested in them. Medical care is proactive and responsive to family observations. Activities are varied. The toddler group is much appreciated. The gardens are great. Some rooms may be small but are suitable for my parent. Coronavirus care has been superb. Contact has been maintained by Skype. The families of all the staff must be doing a fantastic careful role supporting them.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us such lovely comments. We appreciate the times are challenging for families and loved ones of our residents, so we are deeply grateful for your patience and kindness.
Staff was extremely caring and my father was treated with respect and dignity at all times. I cannot thank them enough and would recommend it to anyone.
Thank you for such kind words, we really appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback.
I would recommend this care provider, my grandad was always included in social activities, his needs and wants always met and his comfort and sense of home always made a priority.
We really appreciate you taking the time to leave such lovely comments.
The care my mum received at Druid Stoke Care Home was exceptional. Support was provided to me and my family through a very difficult time when she moved in. Care was thoughtful and personal, it also encouraged independence and dignity throughout wherever possible. Visitors were welcomed anytime and there were many activities and social events were organised for residents. Mums end of life care was also kind and compassionate. I cannot recommend highly enough.
Thank you for your kind words. I am so sorry for your loss but am glad that you felt supported during such a difficult time. I will pass on your lovely comments to the home. Thank you
My mother has been here for nearly 6 years and I have always found all the staff very accessible and helpful and they look after my mother's needs very well. I would highly recommend the home in every way.
I am very satisfied with the care I receive. The food is excellent. Every member of staff does all they can to ensure that I am looked after. My family are pleased that they have been kept informed about my condition. Than you very much indeed.

The level of care in which our gran received was outstanding. The hardworking, caring and compassionate staff were incredible and simply nothing was any trouble for them. The rooms and grounds are top class. The level of care and engagement was beyond words. All the staff were so helpful, friendly and kind. The food is incredible all cooked fresh daily, top marks to the kitchen staff. Our gran said the food is excellent in this hotel (bless her). From the bottom of our hearts thank you for the excellent care.
Thank you for your praise. We have a genuine regard for all of our residents, therefore it is always nice to hear from family members feeling like their loved one is cared for and looked after.
I am impressed by the loving care given to my wife during her stay a the care home. I am also very grateful to the caring and love given to me during the last two weeks of my wife's life.
The Bupa Customer Care Team.
My mother had recently moved in with us in Bristol from Birmingham, she needed somewhere to stay while we went on our annual holiday. From the very first visit, the staff have made us all feel welcome and explained and answered our questions thoroughly. My mother, who was very anxious at first, had a ball. She met lots of friends, joined in group therapies and hasn't stopped telling us about it. She'll be back next year for her holiday she said!
Thank you for your review of Druid Stoke Care Home. PS. Pets are welcome visitors too.
My only concerns are the length of time taken to arrange for a suitable wheelchair and to arrange for the removal of redundant peg feed (now both underway).

Meet the Team (5)

I have 22 years of experience in managing care homes and have managed a variety of settings including residential, nursing, dementia care and domiciliary services. I have experience working with charities and private and local authorities. I commenced my early years as a carer and worked my way to become a home manager.
I'm inspired by how much we can make a difference in people's lives. I love working with people and am passionate about delivering exemplary service. I especially enjoy the variety that each day brings. Our focus is delivering great quality care and ensuring that the resident/s are at the centre of everything that we do.
Outside of work, I love sports and believe that being active is the key. I love CrossFit, Hyrox and walking. Aside from that, I love spending time with my little boy.

My name is Kelcey, and I am the non-clinical unit manager at Druid Stoke. I have worked for Bupa since 2015. I began my career as a care assistant at Druid Stoke before transferring to one of our sister homes, Elm Grove, in 2024. I returned to Druid Stoke in 2025.
I live in Bristol with my husband, Billy and 2 children, Myla and Creed. Outside of work, I love to cook and am a bit of a foodie.

I love to care for other people, I have a natural ability to listen and be kind. I completed my qualifications in business management and then I moved to the UK from Sri Lanka.
I enjoy seeing our residents are happy, it is my priority that I care for them well.
My children are at the centre of my world, so I spend much of my free time with them and my husband I enjoy doing crafts, and I have hairdressing and beauty qualifications too.

I have been part of the Druid Stoke team since 2018 when I was successful in obtaining my role as Kitchen Assistant.
I especially enjoy having the opportunity to interact with residents and I will help them in any way I can, catering to meet each and every need.
I love football and I support Man United, in my spare time I enjoy watching football and spending time with my sister’s children.

I joined Druid Stoke's team in 2018 as a Housekeeper. With the experience and knowledge gained in my original role, I was successful in a promotion to Head Housekeeper.
The role was suggested to me by my sister who also works at Druid Stoke, she knew it was perfect for me and she loves working here, so I was especially thrilled to join her and the rest of the Team at Druid Stoke.
I most enjoy caring for and helping our residents, it's lovely getting to know them all and building rapport with their families. All staff at Druid Stoke are like a big family.
In my free time, my hobbies include maintaining my classic Mini and meeting up with club members. I also enjoy the weekends away camping with the mini clubs. Another hobby I love is gardening.
