Beach Lawns is a beautiful home in a stunning location, overlooking the beachfront of Weston-Super-Mare.
It’s the team, who are passionate about enriching the lives of their residents, which make this home stand out. The highly experienced staff provide residential, dementia, nursing and palliative care, they also provide respite care breaks, which can be booked in advance.
The home is thriving, with so many activities to enjoy, from bespoke, one-to-one sessions, to fabulous group activities. One of the residents runs his own quiz, there’s karaoke, dancing, crafts, cake decorating and games galore.
The team are passionate about exploring the life histories of their residents and finding out what brings them joy, so they can enrich their lives. One resident recently marked his 106th birthday with an interview with the BBC on his miraculous survival when his plane crashed into the sea.
The environment at Beach Lawns is stunning, with beautiful bedrooms with ensuite walk-in wet rooms, spacious lounge areas, many of which have period features, and a hair salon, for regular appointments with a mobile hairdresser.
The gardens are a wonderful place to relax, with a sun terrace and direct private access to the neighbouring Clarence Park. This summer the residents have even been growing their own produce.
The local community are embraced into life in the home, with regular Holy Communion and visitors – and the residents love their regular trips to the Salvation Army.
The team, many of whom have been with the home for over ten years, champion the residents and their loved ones to have a very active role to play in how their home is run. Resident ambassadors love to welcome new residents and their families, as well as providing feedback on everything from the activities to the menus.
In the dining rooms they enjoy delicious, home-cooked meals, with home baking every day for afternoon tea.
Our weekly fees are individual to each of our residents and are subject to a pre-admission assessment, which is required to understand the level of care and support needed. Our 2025 weekly care fees for residential care start from £1208 and for nursing care £1586, but may be in the region of 30% more*. This depends on your care needs and the type of bedroom that is right for you, from our standard rooms through to our premium bedroom options.
*If you require more specialist care such as 1-2-1 support, your weekly fee could be higher.

The catering is of a high standard with additional dietary requirements well catered for. My mother has "de-aged" since 2024 when she joined you. My extreme thanks go to all who are making her later years most pleasurable.

Since my mother was discharged from hospital in December 25, I cannot fault the care she has received. All the staff are so friendly, and nothing seems to be to much trouble when dealing with me or caring for my mother. A lovely home with great staff who really care.

Our uncle is 95 years old and has Dementia. He is confused and unsteady on his feet and has fallen a few times so is no longer safe or able to live on his own. The staff also have the knack of feeding him little amounts, encouraging him but aware that he gets over-faced if his plate is full and the standard of food served and the manner in which his wishes are considered reassure us, his family, that he is being well-nourished. He is safe, secure and content there. In fairness, he is no trouble but the support he receives at Beach Lawns is considerable and very much appreciated. With thanks to you all for looking after him.

My mum has been at Beach Lawns for 15 months. From the outset she was warmly welcomed and included. She's very happy with her room and thoroughly enjoys the food. Staff are friendly and caring. Myself and my husband are always made to feel welcome when we visit or attend any fetes, fundraisers, Christmas, birthday or mothers day. This genuinely makes it feel like 'home' because we can still be a family unit. The variety of activities is excellent always all inclusive and relevant (valentines day, St Georges day, Olympics, VE days etc) we are extremely happy with mums care.

She has a nice room with views of the sunsets which is kept clean and tidy. The food always looks good with a variety of options.
