Money is being invested into the property and you can feel the improvements. A new chef has also helped. Mum has been there for over six months and seems happy . We are pleased with the way she has been treated and we are always welcomed with a smile.

I found that this care home is very capable of looking after me. I have not yet met any member of staf that I wouldn't like to come and see me again. All have been excellent.

It was therefore a huge responsibility to find a suitable happy 'home' for him to move into.
Having visited numerous establishments with many disappointments, our hearts were lifted as we stepped into Clarence Park - greeted with a warm welcome, open, spacious living spaces / bedrooms, a kitchen where proper meals are prepared and a dining room where many residents can gather and share mealtimes together; also a courtyard garden which is just perfect!
Despite arriving with very little notice (less than 30 minutes) at a busy time, both a nurse and the administrator made time to talk to us, answering a range of questions very honestly.
Dad has settled in quickly and regularly comments on the kindness and care of the staff for him and all his needs, which we see too and is both reassuring and wonderful to hear.
Incredibly, Dad looks better and brighter than he has done for a while.

My friend likes living here and the company of the other residents is nice for him to have. Friendship and company can be difficult in your 80's and the people are so friendly and chatty. Best place for my friend to be at this age.

My dad was very happy at Clarence Park his keyworker and all staff members looked after him in a very caring and dignified manner. The two years he spent at Clarence Park he enjoyed - particularly the food! Often told me he had 4 meals a day! We knew he was happy, comfortable and well liked by all staff. My brother has a terminal illness.
The doctor was called around 9.30 am .After waiting for the doctor for a few hours we were told that the surgery is at capacity!!! Advised to call 111. Which was done around 2.30 .
My brother was moved from his room so that she could keep a watchful eye , in case he went unconscious.
At around 5 ish the 111 doctor telephoned, we were asked to be present so we could also talk to the doctor. We took in turns speaking.
I explained that my brother's condition, encephalopathy was showing all the signs of him needing urgent care. This doctor appeared not to listen to my concerns let alone that of the very experienced nursing home manager. I've escalated the paramedic request.
My brother was admitted to hospital at 9pm.
The mananger and staff were amazing.
All this and caring for everyone else.
Thank you for talking the time to give us your feedback especially in what a was such a difficult time. We are so glad that you felt we did our vey best to support you and your brother and that all the staff were amazing. We look forward to continuing our positive relationship with your brother and your self.
Quite happy with care and support. The majority of staff and management good. Able to speak openly and get a response. Most of the food and drink is good. Sadly staff need to feed me - no problem. My room is well suited for my needs.

Thank you for your kind comments about Clarence Park. We are happy to hear you are pleased with the overall care and attention that your mother received and that you would return to stay with us again. Kind regards.
After two hectic weeks in the hospital with moves to different wards, the warm welcome I received as I entered your home for a period of respite care before returning to my flat, gave me such a reassuring feeling. Everyone made me feel welcome and they were ready to help, and monitor my health and all my needs. Knowing there was 24-hour care and excellent response when using the call bell, was so important and appreciated. Well done to Clarence Park - you are much needed and thank you from a grateful guest.
Thank you so much for your positive review of Clarence Park. We are very happy that you enjoyed your stay.
