Overall Experience

My mother was resident at Jasmine Court for 4 years since the death of her husband. It was apparent that he had done a great deal for her while they both lived at home and that she was not capable of supporting herself. Jasmine Court were very kind - they made her comfortable and looked after her very well. She soon required constant care and 24 hour observation which they provided without fuss or question. There was always a doctor available to advise each time there was an instance of infectious disease in the home and we were always notified. Her stay included the Covid-19 period, during which time strict precautions were taken with visitors but at no time did we feel unwelcome. Mum's heath declined significantly in her final 12 months and we knew the staff were concerned for her, especially as she was bed-bound and couldn't join activities or socialise. Her passing was managed with dignity and care - I'm sure she would join in my appreciation for the care and support she received.

My husband was a resident of Jasmine Court for over two years until his recent death. The home is clean and warm but what makes it exceptional is the staff. The manager is a treasure and the whole team are friendly and welcoming.
My husband was bedridden and suffered with advanced vascular dementia so wasn't always easy but he had the very best care - we couldn't have found better.
They cared for us as a family, particularly at the end, and went over and beyond in their support of us all.

I am extremely grateful to them all and would highly recommend Jasmine Court to anyone who is looking for dedicated care for their loved one.

My dad was living in Jasmine Court for several years, unfortunately he suffered with severe dementia and was bedridden but I always knew he was cared for to a very high standard.
All of the staff were friendly and welcoming when we visited and supported us through my dad's declining condition.
It may not be modern but as someone who has worked in care homes that's not what I was looking for. I wanted a care home that put their residents needs first and actually cared for their residents. And that's exactly what I got.
The manager is an absolute gem and I could not praise her or all of the staff highly enough.
My dad recently passed away here and the staff supported us throughout going above and beyond nothing was too much trouble.

Highly recommend Jasmine Court and I hope this goes someway to thanking them for the care and support they so kindly gave my dad and us all as a family.

Shortly after dad went into Jasmine Court it quickly became evident nothing is too much for all the staff and he was made to feel at home and all his needs taken care of.
We cannot express enough how amazing Jasmine Court have been looking after dad during his time with them as well as making us feel welcome during our visits.
All the staff always seemed to go over and above to make sure dad was cared for, loved and included in everything which took part there.
Jasmine Court became his home for the final months of his life and we will be forever grateful to everyone there for looking after him (and us) so amazingly during his time there.
Jasmine Court is by far the best nursing home we have visited and we would not hesitate to recommend it as a safe, comfortable and welcoming place for anyone's loved ones who need care.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all the staff for caring so well for dad as you did, we are truly grateful.

Overall Experience

My mum spent almost two months at Jasmine Court, initially receiving care which then led onto palliative care. Throughout her stay, Mum seemed happy and relaxed. Whilst she was able, she spent her time in the lounge, looking at the Weston Super Mare seafront. She loved Weston, the view was important to her and always brought her peace. Jasmine Court has a warm, almost family feel, and you feel this when you enter, from the warm smile and offer of a cup of tea, from whoever meets you at the door. This level of care is evident throughout the home, the staff are engaging, often seen in the lounge talking to the residents. The home in general is clean and tidy always as are the resident's rooms. The one thing that always got mentioned by those that visited Mum, was that "It doesn't smell like a home!" Which speaks volumes in itself. My mum, is now at peace, although it is a sad time for us all, I would like to thank the team for making her stay calm, comfortable, and dignified. Thank you.

All the staff were so caring, compassionate, and professional at all times.
My father was always kept clean shaven, washed, hair, nails, and clothes nicely presented.
Staff were attentive to his needs sharing valuable information daily.
On entry, the staff explained the process of his care package and provided a tour of the home, including the excellent kitchen. His room was freshly painted comfortable chairs, and plenty of blankets.
They provided a welcome pack with essential information which reassured us about his care.
When he passed away the staff couldn't be more supportive.
Such a lovely friendly environment.

Thank you.

All the staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble, Dad was not the easiest person to deal with and they all coped remarkably well with him.

Even since Dad has passed a member of staff in particular has called to see how Mum is coping, which touched her heart.

My mum was well looked after for her weeks respite care. All the staff seemed caring, considerate and welcoming. When I visited the staff were often sitting and chatting with the residents. The entertainer coordinator visited several times throughout the week. He provided stimulating and fun activities and knew the residents well. He included my mum and treated her with respect and as though he's known her for a while. My mum was well looked after and the food was of a high standard.

Mum had been in Jasmine Court for two and a half years. During that time she was cared for in a kind and caring way. Staff were always polite to her and me when I visited in fact, I would class some as friends. To me, the home is excellent.

We chose Jasmine Court for our friend as there was such a warm and friendly feel about the house, and the staff all seemed happy as they went about their work.

The care and attention that was given was excellent, and our friend settled in quickly. The food was tasty and well presented, laundry was done frequently, and everywhere was clean and tidy. The staff were all professional in their duties, but there was always a ready smile and willingness to chat. Our friend was approaching the end of life but didn't want to be moved away from the home as she was so happy there.

The staff at Jasmine Court were extremely friendly and helpful. They were very supportive and showed respect and care both towards my father and our family. The food was tasty and had a good portion size. They would always look to assist with eating if needed and when my father didn't like something they would look to sourcing alternatives. They looked after my father's hygiene needs and gave him an amazing moustache. He is well-dressed in the correct attire for the weather. Overall amazing I felt comfortable while my father was in their carer.

From my brother-in-law going into the home, the manager and staff did their best to cater to his needs. From meal times being delayed if he went out for a walk, to breakfast given later so he could have a lie in. The staff were always cheerful and chatty when we went in to visit. The home was having extensive refurbishment at the time, with new glass staircase and outside balcony space. Was always clean.

My mother entered the home in 2022 and ever since my first visit, I have been highly impressed with the team and the way they cared for Mum. The staff are all superb, especially the manager who has been professional, caring, welcoming and patient. Mum, to the end, was dealt with in a way that kept her dignity. I would not hesitate to recommend the home and its staff.

The care my relative received at the care home was simply amazing, she was extremely well looked after by kind and friendly staff. We were always warmly welcomed and kept informed at all times of her needs and care. She passed this week, sadly and we and her were dealt with in such a caring and thoughtful way throughout the whole process. We couldn't recommend them more highly.

When dad moved in to Jasmine Court he was already very ill. The staff were warm, friendly and very caring. They could not do enough for him or us. As Dad approached end of life the staff kept us informed and made sure he was pain-free. I cannot thank the staff enough.
