At her passing, I felt supported at a difficult time. Thank you.
The care and support both Mum and the family have received throughout the past 8 months has been exceptional under the skilled medical care of the staff and the dedication and tenderness of all the staff. Mum's condition was stabilised and improved and we were able to spend quality time with her that we didn't think we would have. Cooks, cleaner and all the staff became like friends and we miss them greatly. Two members of staff, in particular, are true stars - always honest, they have made the last few months of Mum's life dignified and peaceful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Having had experience with four different care homes over the last 5 years I can confidently say that Gardenia Court is by far the best for facilities, care and friendliness, the staff went out of their way to make my father feel at home and cared for. I had heard from other sources that GC was a cut above, and how right they were! Thanks to all the caring staff for everything they did to make my father's last years special.
My friend was admitted for end of life care. She was at Gardenia Court for approximately four weeks. I found the carers very helpful and was pleased that she had care until she passed away.
My father received kind, loving and respectful palliative care at Gardenia Court and I can not praise them highly enough. They made this extremely difficult time bearable knowing that dad was in caring hands. Thank you to the manager and all the staff.
Dad improved massively thanks to the continual support and care received. Regular updates were received during his time in the home. Very compassionate, understanding and kind. They adhered vehemently to all guidelines during Covid-19.
Each and every time I, my husband or our adult children visited Gardenia Court Nursing Home, we were greeted by friendly and cheerful members of staff. The resident we visited was dressed in clean clothes, well groomed and with refreshments to hand. They were happy and comfortable and had made friends with other residents as well as the staff. The home felt warm, inviting, clean and tidy, with staff always nearby. The food was good, and our friends really enjoyed the choices they had. I would ring regularly, and the phone was answered promptly. They sadly passed away in September, and we were able to spend time the day before at their bedside. Staff checked regularly that all was well, and we were offered refreshments too.
Gardenia Court staff really helped my mum feel safe, stable and well. They worked hard to build a relationship and trust and supported her when very ill. The room was a little tired but going through an upgrade. The staff were fabulous and always supported, despite family living far.
The teams and managers were lovely throughout my dad's stay with them. Friendly, warm and welcoming always. My dad was always clean and comfy when I visited. He was on full care for a stroke, but all his needs were met - thank you all.
Excellent service provided to Dad throughout his stay in Gardenia Court. Relaxed, friendly and homely atmosphere with highly caring and supportive staff.
We would highly recommend them in every way.
Special thank you to one of the nurses and all the staff for making her end of life more comfortable than it would have been left at home.
I cannot speak too highly of Gardenia Court Nursing Home. Their care, compassion, respect, indeed everything was outstanding and it was a very happy place to be.
My father was well cared for and although difficult in hearing was happy in the short time he was there. The staff provided a wonderful party for his Birthday and I can't praise the staff enough.
All the staff are so lovely and helpful - it is easy to get in and out, they have a good system so you are never waiting around. Mum has particularly liked having a hand massage and getting to know the staff. Recently they had a little party and the staff brought in their family and children. This was so lovely and the older children came around to talk to the residents.
Gardenia Court was an amazing home for our aunt to end her life. It had a very warm welcome every time you visited. The care was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. She was kept clean and tidy and her clothes were laundered as if she was at home. She was treated with dignity at all times.
My wife was admitted on 20th October 2022 and was given first-class care, dignity and attention. Right up to her time of passing on.
My father needed nursing care after a stay in the hospital, he was a dementia sufferer and also had dysphasia. All the care and help he received at Gardenia Court were exemplary, he was happy there. Sadly, he took a turn for the worse, suffering a chest infection which eventually got a hold on him. He passed away on the 17th of October 2022, peacefully after a short illness aged 91.
My dad was well cared for during his time at Gardenia Court Nursing Home. He really enjoyed the food and the staff were very nice.
Thank you for looking after Mum for the last two years. Everything was difficult with Covid. She always looked comfortable and cared for, her room was lovely. So, again, I would like to say thank you to all the staff I know she would have thanked you all if she could.
My brother was transferred from the hospital in the latter stages of a terminal disease. Unfortunately, his stay in the nursing home was a short one. However, whilst there, he received excellent and sympathetic care from all the staff. The management team kept me informed of his condition during his last days and right up to his passing. Due to the Covid pandemic, we were only able to visit once but we were extremely impressed with the home and the friendly staff.
