He passed so peacefully and calm that Monday afternoon, due to the care and attendance of the staff in the nursing home, his comforts and wishes were cared for to the end. We as a family cannot thank them enough for all the care he received whilst he was there until the end of this life.
Thank you.
My mother went to Gardenia Court in Uphill for her final days of like and compared to the previous home, the whole experience was amazing. Mum was there for 9 days and was treated so well by the staff, who were amazing and always on hand. Her room was lovely, clean and functional and you could see how happy the residents are. So glad mum got to go here and was looked after so well.
My husband resided in the above nursing home from September 2015 until he died on the 4 June 2016. I cannot fault the care given, even when my husband was 'grumpy' I NEVER heard a cross word - just smiles and laughter. My husband spent a few days in hospital and couldn't wait to get back to the nursing home. When I sat with my husband as he was dying the staff looked after me as long as him. They made his end as comfortable and dignified as possible. If I ever need care I wouldn't mind this nursing home.
Gardenia Court helped my father in law for the last few days of his life. We were totally happy with his care and the consideration given to him.
My wife and I were given a list of five care homes to view. Gardenia Court was our preferred choice by a long way. When we arrived to view room on behalf of my Uncle, we received a warm welcome from the staff. Our first impressions were of a warm, clean and tidy home with excellent decoration throughout. The room available was a good size and again, clean, tidy and well decorated. During my Uncle's short stay the staff were all very pleasant, caring and kept me in touch when my Uncle took a turn for the worst. We were impressed.
