in my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family
I’ve worked in the kitchen at Kingswood Court for 7 years and I’ve been working in catering for 20 years. During that time I have worked in a children's day nursery and another care home. I love being able to produce fresh, nutritious meals for our residents and it means a great deal to me that I can make a difference in the residents' lives.
In my spare time, I like to spend time with my husband, 2 children, 5 grandchildren and my boxer dog. I love the sun and try to get away whenever I can.
I joined the team at Kingswood court in July 2021, previously I worked in customer service for a train operator providing support to passengers with additional needs.
When I am not at work I am usually found enjoying the great British countryside.
I decided to work in care because I enjoy talking with the elderly and I feel that I’m a sociable person and have a lot to give. I’ve worked in the care sector for 16 years and been at Kingswood Court for 13 of those years, I used to work in a factory before I changed into care.
