St Benet's Court is an exceptional care home with a level of care for its residents that go above and beyond. My grandmother is living with dementia and I was concerned about what would happen to her, but she's being taken care of well and I am comfortable knowing that St Benet's has her best interests
at heart.

Generally, my mum seems happy and well cared for by the extremely hard-working staff. I would of given 5 stars, but at times when I take Mum out, her appearance could be a lot better. She has come out with odd shoes on and sometimes not dressed for the appropriate season.

My mum has been at St Benet's for nearly 3 years now after being diagnosed with dementia and I have always found the staff very attentive and helpful with any queries I have... it is always clean and tidy and I'm always in her room with her and that is the same. I am very happy we got her in there and
she is happy and always clean and tidy and very well-fed and looked after.

This is a fantastic home, staff are super friendly, communication from management is excellent. It’s really good to see what residents are up to via the social media group, Mum loves the activities and the food she is always happy to return and speaks fondly of her time at St Benet's.

St Benet's Court looked after my aunty for the last two years up until she passed away in September 2023. She was suffering from dementia.
I received nothing but the best service and communication from this care home during this period and on the occasions of visiting my aunty the surroundings seemed
very nice and clean. I did not have the opportunity to visit her room, so I cannot comment on this. The home is located in a lovely quite area.
The monthly charge was extremely reasonable and not expensive compared with charges my friends are paying for their relatives.

The staff were lovely and it’s obvious that they really care. They go above and beyond their job role. It was always clean and tidy. The food looked great and there was plenty of choice. I would highly recommend this place for the lasting care of a relative.

My father went into St Benet's Court for respite care after a short spell in hospital following a fall. I found the staff to be extremely helpful to both residents and relatives/visitors. Resident's meals looked very good in terms of variety and nutrition. It was very important to me that I could bring
my dog in to see my father as he missed her a lot. I would recommend this care home.

I am so pleased that we found St Benet's as it is a very good home. My brother moved there after the home, where he had resided for many years, sadly closed. When my brother arrived he was feeling very sad, apprehensive and unsettled and the staff and management have done everything to help him to settle
and have regularly updated me as to his progress. The home is bright, clean and has a lovely, friendly atmosphere and all of the residents I have seen appear happy and contented. My brother also tells me that the food is very good, which I believe is a very important part of a resident's welfare. I would highly recommend this home and this is why I have given it five stars!

My brother and I were generally very pleased with the care our mother received during her four-and-a-half years of residence. The staff were caring, friendly and professional, looking after her until the end of her life, and Mother was very happy, which says it all.
We would recommend this care home.

My mother has been in St Benet’s for just over one year.
She was not recalling coping at home and had a series of minor falls.
Since going to St Benet’s, she is far better both mentally and physically than when living at home.
This is a tribute to the quality of care given to her by all members of
staff.
I am happy to recommend the home to others with elderly parents in need of care and have done so.

Due to mum’s worsening dementia and increasing falls, we (her family) felt she would be much safer living in a care home. She had been with St Benet’s as a temporary resident previously, following a hip replacement, so we knew this care home would suit her needs, and we were so lucky that a room became
available there at the right time for us. Mum has been at St Benet’s for 9 months now and she is very content there. She enjoys the food, has a comfortable room and is very well looked after by the lovely carers. There is a large lounge which is bright and sunny, with a good sized dining room, everywhere smells fresh, it is lovely and clean. All the staff are friendly and welcoming and it is very secure, so it is comforting to know Mum is in very good hands.

As a non-resident but sent from the hospital for a short rehab, what is needed is rehab and convalescent hospitals, not care homes. The staff were wonderful, kind, cheerful and so pleasant and nice.

Mum needs care and has been at St Benet’s Court for just over a year now. I live away and don't get to see her as often as I'd like, but when I do, she always seems happy and well cared for. The family who visit more frequently all seem impressed with what they witness.

My father, 94, was discharged from the hospital to St Benet's Court (care home) at the beginning of December following a place in a care home being sought due to his worsening dementia and continuing falls. St Benet's kindly agreed to take my father as a resident. When my mum and I went to visit my
father for the first time after his move, we had a meeting with and were introduced to other members of staff. Everyone was so caring. They understood that my mum was not capable of caring for my father due to her own mental and physical exhaustion. My father wasn't an easy person to deal with, but his endless care, patience and kindness towards him will never be forgotten. On each of our visits to see my father, everyone we saw was welcoming to us, and nothing was too much trouble. They all stayed in touch with us as to my father's deteriorating health. The staff made sure my father was made comfortable until he passed away on 1 January. Thank you to all at St Benet's.

Dad was discharged from the hospital and went straight to St Benets Court, where he is now a long-term resident. The staff are exceptionally friendly and caring, and the home is clean and well cared for. As his condition is one which means his mobility has deteriorated rapidly, they have had to adjust
to his increased needs - this they have done without complaint and always with a smile. The biggest compliment I can pay is that for someone who said he would "never go into a home" - he is happy there.

Mum has been in St Benet's care home since October 2021, and from the moment Mum arrived, the staff have made her feel welcome and looked after her very well. Every time I go and visit Mum, the staff are cheerful, friendly and make me feel welcome in the home.
They have looked after Mum and given
her the support and care that she needs. Any issues that have arisen with Mum and her condition, the home have always rang and kept me up to date with everything that is going on.
This is the first time Mum has had to be in a care home, and I feel comfortable knowing she is in good hands.

I have an excellent room, I was agreeably staggered by it. I’ve never been in such a large room. The only thing that outdoes it is the building itself and the grounds, it’s a beautiful house.
The staff are extremely friendly.
The house is very clean with no odours.
I had a bad experience in another
home so I was nervous about coming here but it has changed my mind completely.

When I am able to visit, or talk to staff over the phone, I have always received courteous and prompt responses to my queries or comments. The care home looks well run and the staff are always cheerful. When there has been a problem, the staff are quick to respond and also to keep us informed. I
am very happy that my mother is being well looked after, and that in these challenging times, they are taking every possible measure to ensure the safety of the residents, so thank you to all at St Benet's.

When my aunt needed to go into a care home I visited at least five in our area and finally decided on St Benet's. The staff and management were very nice and informative. My aunt's needs are met and all her preferences were taken into consideration. I could not ask for more care and attention. I am
always informed of her situation and I could see she is very well looked after when I visit her. The staff also put up with her short temper and try to pacify her. The manager has also been very helpful in providing letters to the various authorities in order to facilitate her change of address and her continued pension.
The activities provided are very enjoyable and I have witnessed my aunt joining in.
I would highly recommend this care home to anyone.
