I began my career in care at 13, helping in the kitchen at my local care home. I was often found chatting with residents and listening to their stories instead! Those early experiences sparked a passion for care that has stayed with me ever since.

I've been a Registered Manager for over 10 years, including the last five with Peninsula Care Homes.

What I love most is building relationships with residents, families and colleagues. At Bramble Down, I'm proud of our welcoming atmosphere and the team who make it such a special place. I believe that when colleagues feel supported, valued and encouraged to grow, residents benefit too.

For me, good care is about knowing each person, respecting their choices and making sure they feel genuinely at home.
