Starting to see my gran again at a safe distance. She and her friends seem fine after the long lockdown and our family is hoping we can all be together for her birthday later on this year to celebrate her 90th. Thanking the team for all you're doing.

Skype has become our family’s lifeline so gran can see her great-grandchildren. We will visit as soon as we can but know she is in good hands with the manager and the Wolborough staff. Thank you all.

Great home, great staff, I was very worried when Gran needed care because of what you hear in the press but this place is perfect. Gran is better than she has been in years and has made friends and become her old cheeky self.

I am happy here. The staff are friendly and helpful, they help me with my care and always give me lots of cups of coffee as I like my coffee and a few biscuits to go with it. The food is good. I enjoy my meals and look forward to lunchtime. Me and my teddybear enjoy sitting in the lounge with other people, we don't speak a lot but we enjoy watching others and joining in with the games.

Keeps me well fed and I enjoy my food. Setting is superb facing the South you get a lovely view especially at night, I get to see the moon rise and move across the sky at night from my room. Peaceful environment, no loud noises and away from traffic. Lovely local walk to the church which is long enough for me. I love a good cup of tea and am always given one. People here are lovely some with dementia but there is a good mixture and always a friendly face to talk to including staff. The staff are lovely to talk to and very happy and chatty.

The staff at Wolborough Court have worked so hard throughout this troubling time and always sound happy. I know my friend is safe and well until I can once again visit her at the home. We have seen each other through the window so I can see she is happy and safe.

My wife and I have a friend living here of many years and it was a worrying time when we found out she needed to be cared for. I can honestly say once we had visited the home we have never worried about her since. The manager is caring and staff are the same. We have always been welcomed with tea and cake. Looking forward to being able to visit again soon.

Happy home with good happy staff. The home is clean and never smells. The food is lovely and plenty of it, there is also a lot of variety.

My room is lovely and I am very happy here. I can manage my own shower properly and I am given the privacy that I need. I feel very safe and any queries I have I feel confident enough to speak to the staff about and they will sort it for me.

Exceptional care home.

All the staff are really friendly and helpful. A modern home with excellent facilities for the residents. Especially all the hard work that has been put in place during Covid-19. My relative has been really well looked after since coming to Wolborough Court. Highly recommend.

The home is good. I came from another one and this is much more how I would imagine life in a care home to be. I'm happy here.

My room is spacious with a lovely view over the fields and we have a very good cook too.

The cook is very good and we can choose what we like if there is something we don't like on the menu. I'm very happy here. We all meet downstairs for coffee in the mornings and have a nice catch-up. It's like home from home and the staff look after us well.

I would be extremely likely to recommend the home to anyone. Whenever I have spoken to people, I always tell them how well and safe they have kept us from the virus. They all work very hard. Staff are all very good and caring and I've had no problems with anyone.

My Dad has to sadly go into a care home in November, after a long search we decided that this was the right place for him.
He has a complex illness, with this comes unpredictability and all I can say is the home has been fantastic, caring and kind. With lockdown, it has made everything a bit harder and Dads condition has progressed. But with the updates we get from the home, I feel confident that he’s in the right place.

Thank you so much for looking after my Dad, so grateful.

My father has been living in Wolborough Court for a few years now and is happily content. I have always found the staff courteous and friendly, with a lovely gentle manner with the residents. The care is around the particular needs of each resident, whilst maintaining a secure atmosphere with routine. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Wolborough Court to others.

The home welcomed my dad really easily. We were able to personalise his room with him and there was no trouble getting things in or mounted on the walls. The staff are friendly and have gone out of their way to accommodate our requests. For instance, we have sent birthday cards into them with instructions for Dad to sign for other family members as this isn't something he would cope with himself. The home is purpose-built so there are no awkward conversions and a lift makes it really easy to get Dad downstairs for his meals and socialising. The hallways are wide and the bathrooms generous. Before the lockdown, going for a visit was really relaxed and we were able to make ourselves tea or coffee. Now that we're in lockdown we're still able to see one another through the front door. Arranging these visits has probably made things harder for the staff but they are all still very positive and helpful.

My mother has been a little unwell, but the girls have kept me up to date and do not mind when I ring to check on Mum. With the present restrictions, I am unable to visit so this has been very important. I cannot fault the care my mother receives. Thank you.

I was very uncertain about moving our dad into a care home, but the staff at Wolborough Court were lovely – they're friendly and seem genuinely caring and respectful of the residents, and it was made clear that we could visit and phone at any time. Even in lockdown, the home has made every effort to keep the contact between residents and family. It's difficult handing over the care for your own father, but it helps knowing that any concerns/queries are welcomed and acted upon. Our dad is happy at Wolborough Court and will, unprompted, tell us he's well looked after. It's a huge relief knowing he's safe and well cared for.

The home itself is clean, light and bright, with cheerful décor.
