Hill House Nursing home has been providing excellent care and supporting residents since it opened in 1965. Most of the bedrooms are en-suite and located in a bright purpose built extension. Part of the home dates from the 14th century with exposed beams, inglenook fireplaces and is steeped in character.

Hill House ensures that residents have all their home comforts and receive outstanding care from the highly skilled nursing, caring and professional staff.

The home prides itself on its professional and holistic service. There is a full range of social activities and an entertainment programme led by an activity coordinator who devises a wide range of activities to meet resident’s abilities and interests. Well being is very important to the home and the home also ensures freshly cooked wholesome food is served at all times.

Ceiling lights very poor, spot lights not for a bedroom. Very nice furniture and decor.

Initially management staff took plenty of time to discuss in detail the facilities they would provide. During her stay the care and support teams provided a first class service which kept her as comfortable as her failing health permitted. I and my family have the greatest respect for everyone involved,
directly and indirectly, who looked after my wife during the last weeks of her life. All our thanks, you were great.
