The management and staff at Badgeworth Care Home are both professional and service minded. They are extremely attentive to the needs of my mother, and couldn't be more helpful when we have additional requests. They treated my father with care and respect in his final days there. The rooms are a little small, but the grounds are beautiful and the catering is high quality. There is a nice dining room and a creative range of activities for the residents.
Thank you so much for your feedback , we are delighted to know that mum is having a good experience, your feedback will be shared with the team at Badgeworth, thank you .
My wife has been here now for just over a year and has found it first class. The carers have always got a smile on their with a pleasant way of looking after the patients. When I visit my wife twice a week the whole place is always very clean with the meals and entertainment first class
Thank you so much for sharing your families' experience with us, this means a lot and will be shared with the team at Badgeworth Court. Thank you.
Mum is very settled when she stays, staff are very friendly and compassionate. The home is in lovely settings. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. Mum has had 2 stays at Badgeworth now and will be staying again from the end of May and says she is happy to stay.
Thank you so much for sharing Mum's experience with us, your feedback means a lot to us and I am pleased to know that Mum had a good experience. Thank you
Since transferring a week ago to Badgeworth Court from another Barchester care home (for family reasons), my Mum , aged 91, has received nothing but compassion and kindness. My family and I are very grateful as well as relieved that she is settling so well after such a happy start to this new chapter in her life. Thank you to Rosalynn and all your hard working team.
The team at Badgeworth will like to share a huge thank you for sharing your experience and Mum's experience with us. It is deeply appreciated. We value your feedback as it shapes our practice and celebrate our standards. As a General Manager of Badgeworth Court I am very pleased to know that Mum is enjoying her stay. Thank you .
The staff are kind and helpful.
Our new chief is providing food of a good standard.
Thank you for taking time to complete the feedback for us. This is deeply appreciated and will be shared with the team.
The Badgeworth Care Home staff showed a high level of compassion and attentiveness to my father in his last few months. We were very appreciative of the kindness that all the care staff displayed and for all their efforts to ensure my father was comfortable and able to pass with dignity, while losing him has been incredibly difficult, we are grateful for the support we received during a very emotional time.
Thank you and best wishes.
Dad enjoys the nutritious meals & choices he has on a daily basis, he is also loving the interaction they have with the chef.
There are many activities available for residents with a weekly planner where they can plan their week.
We all had a fab time at the bonfire display followed by a BBQ & Dad also enjoyed the Veteran afternoon tea & Reminiscing session followed by 1 minute silence that they could show their respect & remember together. Thank Badgeworth for your continued support.
Thank you.
I don't think you can ask more than this. A new chef has started recently & the food has stepped up a level.
Well done all who work there
Lucy P
Thank you so much for sharing your feedback with us, this is deeply appreciated and means a lot to the team, Thank you
I was very impressed by the care and consideration the staff showed towards the residents. The Care Home was very clean and tidy and the food served to residents is of good quality and appearance.
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. It is an inspiration to the team and we will continue to work hard to excel in all areas that we support our residents and families with. Thank you
having had a negative experience of entering the care environment at another home mum had lost her confidence and become withdrawn, from the moment of meeting staff at Badgeworth Court she began to shine again. I was moved by the kindness and compassion shown to her and as a family we have not looked back, from management to carers they could have not done more. Your outstanding rating is well deserved thank you.
Dear Jake, thank you so much for your kind review. Our staff works very hard to make sure all our residents are happy and content and enjoy living in their new home. We will pass your kind words to our staff.Kind regards,Badgeworth Court Team
We haven't been disappointed. Mum has now been at Badgeworth for over six months. We can't fault the care she has received. Her en-suite room opens out onto the garden and is light and airy. She is far more confident walking (albeit with a zimmer frame) than she was when she moved in and enjoys heading out into the garden. Mum remains very switched on and enjoys the daily activities and the social nature of lunch in the dining room. The staff are caring and excellent.
We would not hesitate to recommend Badgeworth.
Dear David, thank you very much for your very kind and detailed review. We are so pleased to hear your mum is enjoying her stay at Badgeworth Court. We will share your lovely review with our staff members, who work really hard to keep our residents safe, happy and content.Best regards from the whole team here at Badgeworth Court.
The home itself is bright, modern, and clean, the bedrooms a really good standard, the lounges, communal areas and food all more like a hotel than care home!
It's never easy making decisions around care, but we're really grateful to the team at Badgeworth Court for the support they gave Dad and us as a family. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others looking for good quality, compassionate care.
On behalf of the team at Badgeworth, I would like to share a huge thank you for sharing your experience with us. I would share your with the team. This feedback means a lot to us as it helps us to aim for even higher standards.
Moved my wife, with Alzheimers, into home 2 weeks ago + she has settled very quickly, with fantastic staff + attention. Nothing too much trouble - highly recommend.
Thank you Peter for sharing your feedback with us. It is deeply appreciated. Thank you
The majority of the carers did not know how to treat a resident who is quadriplegic, e.g. they did not appreciate that she could'nt use a standard glass for water or lift the water jug to fill the glass. She has a water bottle on the back of her wheelchair provided with a drinking tube that needs to be clipped to the front of her clothing, and topped up with water when required, on a number of occasions this was'nt done. She was'nt informed before her arrival that she would need a shower sling to take a shower, she does'nt use one at home. she likes to shower at least twice a week but did'nt get one during her stay. Some carers were not familiar with the use of her night urine bag and woke her during the night to empty it when it did'nt need it. There was some confusion about the administration of certain meds labelled "as required" and the duty nurse did not take her word for their use, although she explained it. Without her knowledge a nurse re-odered all her meds from the surgery
Hi Michael, thanks for your review. We're sorry to learn the home didn't meet your expectations during your wife's recent short stay with us. We understand your concerns were raised with the homes team at the time, and they were quickly resolved for you, however, If you have outstanding concerns,...
My Dad (92 years old) came to Badgeworth Court for some respite care after a fall. From the moment I first made contact with the care home, I was so impressed with their professionalism and care. During his short stay there, Dad was so well looked after, all the staff were lovely and the food was great! He could not have had better care and I felt so confident and relaxed about leaving him there. He thoroughly enjoyed his week at Badgeworth and with their help, made a speedy recovery.
Thank you very much for sharing Dad's experience with us, I am pleased that Dad had a great experience at Badgeworth Court.Your feedback will be shared with all staff members. Thank you.
Badgeworth Court Care Centre provides a beautiful and caring environment. Staff are dedicated and always ready to help. The manager is so caring and dedicated, thank you to all the Badgeworth Court staff for your great work.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. This will be shared with the team at Badgeworth. We deeply appreciate the time you have taken to write such an amazing feedback. Thank you.
Special mention to the manager and all the nurses and two particular members of staff (my guardian angels).
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I will pass on your lovely comments to the team at Badgeworth Court.
Sometimes Mum doesn't have the personal care she should as she is unable to get herself to the toilet, being unable to get out of her chair. Also, her legs are not treated as well as they could be - not creamed and dressed.
Thanks for leaving your review. Though your star rating here is wonderful to see, we've checked in with the home who have confirmed the concerns you've mentioned haven't been raised with them previously. The General Manager would like to discuss your concerns with you, so please get in touch with...
Mum settled very quickly and Badgeworth is now 'home'!
Mum is treated with courtesy and respect.
The staff are a credit to you - lovely girls (and boys, of course!)
Thank you so much for sharing Mum's experience with us. The team at Badgeworth deeply appreciate this. Thank you.
Dad was welcomed in a frail state. The nursing care and kindness he received were second to none. The food was of a very high standard. His end-of-life care was compassionate - we can't thank the home enough for caring for him so beautifully.
Thank you for taking time to share this amazing feedback. The team at Badgeworth deeply appreciate this.
