All the staff are extremely friendly and Mum interacts with them in a positive and friendly way. Mum was very reluctant to go into residential care but has flourished since she arrived. She is well looked after, fed very well, has nursing care on hand if needed and her day-to-day needs are met. The home is very welcoming to my family members, we can come and go any time and often join in with the group activities provided for the residents. The staff are amazing and I would have no issues recommending this home to others.
Thank you so much for sharing Mum's experience with us. The staff at Badgeworth are extremely grateful.
Haven't got a bad word to say about the care my grandmother gets.
Thank you so much for your feedback, the team at Badgeworth appreciate this. Thank you.
The care my mother received was outstanding and the management team made everything happy and easy and smooth. The care team who looked after mum were wonderful, bringing joy laughter and offering care emotionally as well as physically. They also took care of us as a family, answering our questions, having a good knowledge of dementia and helping us to navigate through a difficult time. We joined in with events, always a cup of tea and cake, nothing was to much to make our time with mum enjoyable. We found a great community spirit with other residents and their families along with the staff. I shall miss seeing the carers, but will always hold them all in my heart. I thank and send appreciation to all at Badgeworth court. It truly is a outstanding care home.
Thank you so much for sharing Mum's experience as well as the family's experience of Badgeworth Court with us. This means a lot to the team and we are very grateful for such a fantastic feedback. Thank you.
Mum has dementia and after looking after her at home for as long as possible, as her dementia and behaviour deteriorated, my sister and I knew we could no longer safely support her at home. She was very reluctant to go into care but the staff at Barchester Badgeworth Court Care Home were extremely patient, supportive and understanding of all our needs. Mum has absolutely flourished since arriving in late July 2024. She loves the staff, hugs them and generally interacts very well with them. Her room is comfortable with her own bathroom, she is fed very well, there are activities for her to take part in and nursing staff on hand if needed. The grounds are very pretty and there is an outside seating area for the summer. Overall, I am very happy with the care she is receiving and would have no hesitation in recommending Badgeworth Court to others.
Thank you so much, Tina, for sharing Mum's experience with us. The team at Badgeworth value your feedback and we are delighted to know that it has been a positive experience. Thank you.
Mum has been a resident of Barchester Badgeworth Court Care Home, near Cheltenham for just over a year. We are very happy to know that she has been well looked after by very caring staff, it's a weight off our shoulders to know that Mum has 24-hour care. Mum has settled in well and enjoyed the food and some of the activities.
Thank you for sharing Mum's experience with us, the team at Badgeworth deeply appreciate this.
My mother has been a resident of Barchester Badgeworth Court Care Home for two months. She has dementia and was adamant she was not going into a home. However, it became increasingly difficult to care for her at home and no matter how long I spent with her she was lonely and depressed. Since being at Badgeworth Court, she has come to regard this as her home and is quite happy to leave me at the door and return to her "friends". The staff are lovely and very good with her, nothing is too much trouble. The whole family are happy in the knowledge she is quite content with where she is living and is calm and there is always someone around her.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us, the team at Badgeworth deeply appreciate this.
When Mum became suddenly confused and was unable to return home from hospital, we contacted Barchester Badgeworth Court Care Home on the recommendation of friends' experiences. They responded quickly and were able to provide a place immediately. When Mum arrived, the staff made great efforts to really get to know her and within a week, all the staff appeared to know her and stopped to chat whenever they crossed paths. Time for conversation is clearly a priority at Badgeworth Court. Mum enjoyed the varied activities, many of which are held outdoors. Sadly, Mum's condition deteriorated but the staff adapted their care seamlessly. They have provided exceptional care, demonstrating respect and compassion and helped Mum to retain her dignity. They have also been highly supportive to us, as a family. We would have no hesitation in recommending Badgeworth Court Care Home.
Thank you so much for sharing Mum's experience with us, the team at Badgeworth are always ready to support and will work to uphold the dignity, comfort and care of the residents in our home. Thank you so much for sharing.
Staff are very caring and see to everyone's need, even visitors'.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. The team at Badgeworth deeply appreciate this. Your review is very important to us as we strive to achieve even higher standards.
The care provided is consistently compassionate and being adapted to meet varying needs. I am kept informed. There are good links to the local GP and the Care Home Support Service.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience at Badgeworth Court with us. This means a lot to the team and we will continue to deliver the best care for all our residents. Thank you.
I have nothing but praise for the manager and the staff at Barchester Badgeworth Court Care Home. They were kind, polite, supportive and very caring. How they cope with 12-hour shifts is remarkable. However, I do have concerns regarding staffing levels at night. On one occasion, I called for help to assist my wife to the toilet. A cover come and said she would come after handover. She did return after 20 minutes only to say she was needed elsewhere. It was over an hour before she retuned. This would cause distress to any patient. People are paying good money for what is an inadequate service. This is not a reflection on the staff at Badgeworth Court but the staffing ratio levels set by Barchester. Please give extra support for these staff working extremely hard on the night shifts.
Thanks for leaving your review and for your kind words about the staff in the home. We're sorry you hadn't raised your concerns at the time as the home would have been able to explain the reason for the delay. We're aware you shared your feedback with the general manager as your loved one returned...
Well-run with effective and hands-on manager and delightfully kind and effective caring and nursing staff. They cared compassionately and professionally for my pa in the last year of his life and ensured my mother's last year with him (they shared a room) was as happy as possible. All the staff are very good at kindness and cheerfulness. Really good communication with me. And they all made the process of dying and final days as good as it possibly could have been - for my father and for all the family. Outstanding, kind people, diligent and professional staff.
Thank you so much for sharing your mum and pa's lovely experience at Badgeworth with us. We appreciate this so much. Feedback is very important to us and as a team, we strive to reach even higher standards in all areas. Thank you for sharing.
Excellent meeting with the manager and activities coordinator discussing facilities and planning activities regarding our mother.
Thank you so much for sharing Mum's experience with us. It is very much appreciated.
Mum is being very well looked after. Her health has improved enormously since she arrived. Staff are kind, considerate and patient.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. We are truly grateful. Staff at Badgeworth value your feedback as it helps us to improve and strive to achieve even higher standards. Once again, thank you for sharing.
Always kept fully appraised of what was happening with my relative.
Can't speak highly enough of the staff.
Hight recommend.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. Your feedback is vital to the team and we appreciate this very much.
Owing to an unusual situation, extra care and advice was needed from the General Manager and Regional Manager. They were extraordinary; compassionate, understanding and determined. They made themselves available to us at any time of day - responding to emails at 6am or 8pm on a Friday. I can wholeheartedly testify that they both put people first. The General Manager made herself available to us on a Saturday afternoon, and the Regional Manager was still responding to emails on a Sunday evening. The care my aunt has received in her first two weeks has been terrific. It's a difficult and very sad situation for all the family when residential care becomes necessary - this is inevitable. Within a few days, my aunt had developed a rapport with many of the staff and it was clear that they care a great deal for her and are curious about who she was before Alzheimer's. To the care staff and the whole team - thank you!
Thank you so much for the feedback, at Badgeworth Court we always put our Residents at the heart of all that we do and I am very pleased that we were able to support.
Barchester Badgeworth Court supported us to enable our mother to move in for respite care after a fall within 2 days of the initial enquiry. Alterations to furnishings required were made promptly. Mum who hadn't been eating, started eating again, particularly enjoying the soups. Care was always considerate and Mum was treated with dignity. Having experienced a number of care homes with various relatives, we would return here.
Thank you so much for sharing your Mum's experience with us. We value your feedback as this help to improve the work that we do. It is pleasing to know that Mum was happy with her experience. Thank you.
My mother spent a month at Badgeworth Court recently to recover after a spell in hospital. This was her third stay at Badgeworth Court and, as with her previous stays, we found the staff amazing. Very organised, friendly and helpful. The facilities are also excellent.
Thank you so much for the feedback, the team at Badgeworth deeply appreciate this as it guides us to improve our standards every day. Thank you.
I really cannot fault Barchester Badgeworth Court Care Home. A lovely place where the staff are so nice and friendly. The food provided was healthy and nutritious and enjoyed. Bedrooms are comfortable with en-suite facilities plus lovely outside gardens and space to take advantage of when the weather is nice. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a care home in the area after my dad stayed there.
Thank you, Neal, for sharing your father's experience in Badgeworth Court. This means a lot to the team. Thank you.
We needn't have worried as all the staff made the transition go so smoothly. Our mother has settled in straight away which has made a huge impact on all the family.
It's lovely to visit and see her getting the interaction.
Thank you for taking the time to feedback on your experience with Badgeworth Court we are so pleased to hear how well your mother settled in and that you as a family are reassured.
I have first come home after 14 days care having had hip replacement. I felt nervous staff not very communicative only desk staff to explain. Food poor choice of one or one other, most were there for not meat eaters. My toilet was blocked daily despite complaining the sink wasn't very clean although I was told I could shower no one offered to help so I didn't get one. My room was vacuumed partly once a week and crumbs on corner were there all week. Desk staff very friendly.
We understand that new surroundings can sometimes be a bit daunting, and we thank you for entrusting us with your care. We are sorry you didn’t feel your surroundings were clean. We can...
