My father has bee at this care home for the last 10 months and the improvement in him since coming out of hospital has been incredible. This has largely been due to the support and encouragement from the staff. Most of the time he seems happy in his new environment and has settled quite well.

Wonderful nursing home. Excellent caring staff. Nothing was too much.
Lovely property. Kept clean and tidy.
Well done to the manager, nurses and the carers and of course the lovely meals prepared every day by the kitchen staff.

I would thoroughly recommend Brunswick House Nursing Home.

Poor care home, smells all the time. Staff appear to not be very well trained and appear to not know what they are doing with my relative. She was, in my opinion, looked after incorrectly and most of the time forgotten about more than once. My opinion is they didn't want her there and everything they said they could do they didn't and we complained all the time. We were glad to move her out.

This care home has given our father exceptional end of life care. He had dementia and cancer and was failing at his own home. As soon as he came into Brunswick House he seemed to improve so much, no more depression, good regular meals and the level of personal care was exceptional.
The staff contacted us immediately if there were any issues and we are sure he survived as long as he did due to the wonderful care he received.

Mum survived him in the same home and is so happy.

Staff are always very friendly and offer a cup of tea. Usually, someone is present doing encouraging activities and including as many residents as possible.

The care is satisfactory. The home is very clean, staff good with my mother.
The activities are getting better now they have a new lady taken over, they never had any for a few months which was poor. Hopefully, will get better after talking to the new coordinator who has arranged activities.

I think daily activities are important to their well-being.

Whenever I visit, the staff they always update me on my mothers day explaining if there had been any problems or if she's been down in the lounge instead of staying in her room.

When food/drinks are served they always explain to mum what the choice is carefully so she can hear them and if I ask for any help/advice/or if things are not working properly it is no problem to sort for me, if they can or they ask nurse/manageress to advise me.
