My mum has been at Mill House for 5 years, and she has always been very happy. The carers treat her with such dignity and they work so hard.
Thank you for your kind words. We are so pleased that your mother has always been very happy during her five years at Mill House and the carers treated her with dignity.
My mum has been in Mill House for nearly 5 years and I can say that I spend a lot of time there. The carers are amazing they treat my mum with such dignity and care and, if even when they are really busy they will help if they are able to when asked.
Thanks so much for taking the time to share this lovely review. We're delighted to hear that you're so happy with the care your mum is receiving. It's a pleasure to have her in the home, and if there's ever anything more we can do to support you or her, please don't hesitate to ask.
I came to Mill House to visit a friend. I didn't know what to expect so it was with some trepidation. I didn't need to have worried, the moment I walked in I felt the friendly, warm atmosphere. The decor was bright with lovely colour and materials. The love and commitment of all the staff was amazing. I left feeling happy and that I'd had a lovely visit.
Thank you for sharing your experience. We're so pleased to hear that your visit to Mill House left such a positive impression and that you felt the warm, welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrived. Your kind words are greatly appreciated.
My mother stayed at Mill House for two weeks respite, having had a fall earlier in the year. She was very reluctant to go but having agreed, was welcomed so warmly and personally, that her anxieties were allayed; along with a card, she was also provided with her favourite chocolate. The food was really excellent and choices varied. Her room was spacious with a lovely outlook over fields. The staff, although very busy, were attentive and kind, so very important. She is relatively independent and quite forthright, the staff were respectful of her independence but responsive to her needs as they arose. Whilst mum couldn't wait to get back to independent living again, in her own home, the two weeks did her the world of good in that she ate well and had plenty of stimulation, and it shows. At some level, this has restored her and I am so thankful to all the staff at Mill House.

My father was only in Mill House for a short time, but all the staff did everything they could to make his stay and final hours as comfortable as they could be. My father was always treated with utmost dignity.
Thank you so much for your kind words during what we know is a difficult time. Although your father was with us for only a short while, it was a privilege to care for him. We're truly touched to hear that you felt he was treated with dignity and that our team at Mill House helped make him as...
Mum came in yesterday - the welcome was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The room is beautiful and the food is plentiful and really really good. I asked if Mum's hair could be washed as I hadn't been for 3 weeks while she was in hospital. When I came in today it had been done and I was impressed. I left the home feeling really good about leaving Mum there.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a fantastic review! We're happy to hear that your mum is receiving such great care at Mill House. It's great to know that you're happy with her room, the food, and the care she has received so far, and that she had such a warm welcome from our team....

Staff are always available to answer any questions in a caring and professional manner and make us feel welcome as visitors. Although only a week's stay for respite, my experience from the moment of arrival was excellent. I received a warm welcome from the management and staff who were fully briefed about my requirements. All staff went out of their way to help me and the whole experience was caring, efficient and enjoyable. The environment and atmosphere throughout was happy, and the food was excellent with healthy variety and interest. I also enjoyed some other activities included in my stay and arrangements for seeing visitors were excellent. Altogether a very pleasant time.

My Mum has lived here for almost 5 years and she has been cared for so well in every way imaginable. I always find her peaceful, comfortable and content usually having enjoyed one of the super activities that will have taken place during the morning. My mother has been a long term resident at Mill House due to her suffering from dementia. Since a fall causing a broken hip in November 2021, and a continued deterioration in her cognition her needs are now complex. I feel all the staff, whatever their role work hard to meet her needs and make her feel safe and content. Our concerns as relatives are also understood and questions are answered in both a friendly and professional way.
Thank you for taking to the time to leave us a review and for your positive comments about the care your mother is receiving and as a result feels safe and content. Your feedback will be shared with the team.
My wife has been in Millhouse for eleven months. She had suffered a stroke which left her with multiple needs. The support and care she has received has been outstanding. The nursing staff and carers have been very professional, whilst showing tenderness and care when carrying out their duties. We went to great lengths to choose a nursing home that would provide the best care that my wife needed. Also, the facilities that would provide the support for the family and the guidance that we needed. Needless to say, we have not been disappointed.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and for your positive comments regarding our home and staff who work hard to deliver high standards of quality care at all times. Your feedback will be passed on to the team.
My mother is settled and happy. It's a great reassurance for me that her face lights up when either the nurses or carers come into her room. Mill House is a pleasure to visit. Welcoming and always clean.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and for your recognition of the team at Mill House. It is lovely to hear that your mother has settled in and is happy at our home. Your feedback will be shared with the team.
My wife has been a resident at Mill House since December 2022. She has Alzheimer’s which has progressed to a severe level, requiring a high level of support to meet all basic needs. The staff here are friendly and professional and work extremely hard to ensure she is safe and content. Communication is good and I am well-informed about her health and well-being. Facilities are good and a range of activities are provided to keep residents stimulated.
Thank you, John, for taking the time to leave us a review and for your lovely comments about our home and recognition of the team at Mill House. Your feedback will be shared with the team.
My mum has been a resident of Mill House for almost a year; she is doing so well under the care and companionship of Mill House residents and staff. Life now is probably better for Mum than it has been for a few years, with on-tap entertainment, great food, a hairdresser etc, and some wonderful hairy visitors. It's always a pleasure for me to visit too, and know she is safe and sound.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and for your wonderful comments about our home, team and the care that your mum is receiving. We are pleased to read that she is enjoying all the activities and great food. Your feedback will be shared with the team.
