The staff are going above and beyond with helping Dad. The food is excellent. One member of staff is very good with Dad and keeping us updated.

I cannot recommend Chestnut Court Care Home highly enough, both my parents have been residents there on the dementia unit. The care they have received has been fantastic, the staff are all so friendly and have treated both my parents with kindness, dignity and empathy, also myself and my family.
The home is clean and rooms are a great size, allowing residents to have personal items, like pictures, or a favourite chair to feel at home and a lovely garden.

Both parents also enjoyed the home-cooked meals.

Mum was here for nearly four years and we, as a family, knew that she was very happy here. We can't name one person that stood out because every single one was lovely, from carers to the cleaner, laundry and activities ladies. Thank you.

Mom is happy and likes her surroundings.
Staff are lovely but realise they are short-staffed at the moment. They are very caring.
Nice that the activities are able to resume after all the Covid restrictions and that the residents are able to go out.

The only thing would be clothes sometimes go missing.

We feel very lucky to have placed Nan in such a wonderful place. The staff are so friendly and very approachable. Throughout Nan's stay, as she is declining, we are kept up to date and involved as her needs change. Equally, if we see/observe changes, we feel totally at ease talking to the carers.

Our mother recently passed away at Chestnut Court. Your excellent care home and caring professional staff really wasted her passing. She died peacefully with dignity. The care home was a wonderful facility but not too clinical. It had a homely feel, and her last days were spent in the best possible place. My mother and the wider family were supported by supportive staff.

Mum always appears happy in the home and has a good relationship with staff/carers who nearly always say that she makes them laugh! I've always found the carers to be genuinely caring ensuring mum's needs are met and she is treated with dignity.

The standard of care given to my mum has always been excellent. She is settled and is always happy at Chestnut Court. The staff are always kind to her and she enjoys the banter and rapport she has with them. I couldn't wish for a better place for her to be and am truly grateful for that. Thank you.

The home provides a comfortable and safe environment for those with special needs. The management during the difficult times of the pandemic have been positive in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all, and in all measures were ahead of the ever-changing regulations. The staff, motivated by the excellent care and dedication of the care leaders, thus ensuring the wellbeing of those in their care. An added benefit to all is the advance circular design providing safe access to all people.

My husband was treated kindly and as a personal individual, not as a 'number'. He was given as much freedom as possible - very difficult at times (due to himself and of course the virus).

His last years were made as happy and as cheerful as possible.

My experience with Chestnut Court is very positive. My dear mum passed away 22/05/20 - she had been in residence since January 2014. No-one wants their beloved Mum in a home, but the fact the care provided by an amazing team has allowed me to enjoy an incredible bond with my mum that I will always treasure. My siblings and I are happy our inheritance has been used to allow Mum 24/7 care. The group can be extremely proud and grateful for incredible care staff who go above and beyond their duty. They certainly deserve a wage to mirror dedication!

My aunt was always treated with respect and dignity by the care team. She was included in as much activity as possible and the care team always took time to spend with her chatting and making her smile. Her room was always clean and tidy as was my aunt's appearance. I would definitely recommend Chestnut Court to families of potential residents.
