I cannot put into words how grateful I am for the absolute care, love and attention my father received during his stay at the home. It was a very difficult time with the limitations and restrictions of Covid and not being able to visit, but when we were able to, we could see that there was no doubt that he'd been in the best care. We were informed daily of our father's progress. The room and facilities were the best for his comfort. He was always freshly dressed, clean-shaven and full dignity kept. All the carers we met were polite and could not do enough for us. Thank you.

Support and staff excellent.
It's hard to be so far from my dad, and unable to visit, but knowing he's in a place where he's treated well, and with care and respect, makes it easier to bear.

My mum spent nearly 3 years at Aspen Court until she passed away this month. It is only a small care home, but everyone is treated like family and you will never have to worry about the welfare of your loved one. The devotion of the carers is exceptional and family are made to feel welcome at any time. The nursing staff made my mums end of life care pain-free and helped her family cope in this difficult time.

The staff are excellent, friendly, caring, and kind but never overstep the bounds of professionalism. Questions and concerns were addressed and if the person I asked didn't know the answer they would immediately find someone who could. I really cannot praise them too much not only did they provide excellent and dignified care to my husband but they were always kind and friendly to me.

On settling into Aspen Court my husband has become far less agitated due to the kind and caring attitude of all staff members. Nothing is too much trouble, he is treated with the utmost respect as am I, which I find comforting and helpful. The encouragement to join in activities is just the stimulation that my husband needs. He enjoys his food, is obviously well-fed and is kept clean and tidy. I appreciate being able to use the cafe where we can sit together over a cup of coffee on our own. I admire the high standards and how they are maintained.
I will personally ensure that all the team are aware of your comments and feedback. Kindest
Regards.

The quality of care was excellent. His life was enhanced in the 6 months he was there, never forced to do something he didn't want to, but encouraged to join activities. He had stopped eating at home, but staff spent time encouraging him with any food they thought he would like. Care, in general, was extremely good. He was always showered and dressed in clean clothes.

My aunt was moved from another care home in Taunton as they felt unable to cope with her needs. Aspen Court took time and effort to review her medication, which enabled her to take an interest in life again. The staff were always welcoming and took an interest in her as a person. The premises were always clean and tidy and the staff were willing to assist with any requests.
