Hello, my name is Florin. I am the Home Manager at Oak Lodge Care Home.
I have been qualified as a nurse since 1995. I have 14 years of experience as a Registered Manager for care services. I decided to go into nursing due to my passion for helping people. I am passionate about developing relationships with people in long-term care placements.
I pride myself in being hands-on in my role and ensuring that I develop good relationships with residents, families, and team members to ensure people are safe and well looked after. I also like to make sure we are delivering high-quality person-centred care.

Hi, my name is Di. I am the Administrator at Oak Lodge Care Home.
I joined the Oak Lodge Care Home team in March 2018, having previously worked for an advertising agency for 10 years, and also worked for Axminster Carpets as a PA for 9 years.
I enjoy watching horse racing, going to horse shows, dog walking with my little Jack Russell terrier called Bea, and dining out. I am usually the person who answers the phone when you call during office hours and deals with all the administration and paperwork for the home.
Hi, my name is Sonny. I am the Senior Nurse at Oak Lodge Care Home.

Socks the cat has been in charge of the staff and residents at Oak Lodge Care Home for a number of years. He was born on the 18th of February 2012, and it is believed he is a direct descendant of the Sphynx.
Socks' main duties are sleeping, gathering his strength, eating, and looking at the birds in the garden. He is normally found in the laundry where he has a good supply of food, a bowl of fresh water and some very soft, warm blankets to lay upon on top of the tumble drier. He knows instinctively who likes his company, and has made good friends with many staff and residents in the home.
Socks are extremely tolerant of other pets, so there's no issue with residents seeing their families' pets when they come in to visit.
