We saw my mum for the first time yesterday since mid-March and she was happy and relaxed and delighted to see us. The visit was carefully managed with social distancing observed. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone for taking such good care of yourselves and the residents.
What a lovely review. Thank you so much for your comments and taking the time to write them. This is very much appreciated by all of us at the home and it is our pleasure to care for Mum.
Oaktree Court is a lovely home in beautiful surroundings. I cannot praise all the staff highly enough as they are so caring and give 100% all of the time. Any queries I have are always dealt with quickly and efficiently by the manager and nurses which is so reassuring, especially in current times. Although we are unable to visit at present I am able to speak to her regularly via video technology and she is always happy and looks well looked after. The home is a very warm and friendly place and it is always alive with music, games and laughter. It is spotlessly clean and smells fresh, which is rare in my experience of care homes previously. My Aunt enjoys the food and has put on weight since living at the home and looks so much healthier. They even grow their own fruit and vegetables and use them in their meals which we are able to see on the home's Facebook posts. I would not want her anywhere else.
What a marvellous review. Thank you so much for your wonderful comments about our home and staff. We really appreciate you taking the time to write this and will pass on your comments to our team.
Extremely efficient, providing a high standard of care which is provided with careful consideration of the needs of the resident and their family. I cannot find any fault with either the staff or the management.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a positive review. Your comments are very important to us and we will make sure they are shared with our staff.
Oaktree Court has excellent caring staff. At a very difficult time for myself and my husband of nearly sixty years we were both treated as members of a family. As a frequent visitor prior to the COVID restrictions I have seen the care, kindness, and cleanliness of this home. Since COVID every effort has been made for my husband and me to stay in contact via FaceTime and phone calls. However much I despair of not being with my husband I can console myself that he is very well looked after. The garden at Oaktree has been a godsend for my husband as has always enjoyed walking and sitting outside when possible. Thank you to all the staff at Oaktree who have helped both of us accept a difficult time in our lives.
Thank you so much for such a wonderful review with such thoughtful comments. It is our pleasure to look after your husband and we appreciate your kind words and support.
What a wonderful home. Professional and friendly team. They have kept the whole home safe in this pandemic and with such dedication. Managers and staff are inspiring. Beautiful home and surroundings. Highly recommend Oaktree Court.
Thank you so much for writing such a complimentary review of our home. We are so pleased you are very happy with our service and will pass on your comments to all of our staff.
Since my dad moved into the Dementia Unit at Oaktree, the care has been superb. The carers who work at the unit are caring both to my dad and to us as a family who have regularly visited for a few months prior to the recent closure to protect everyone from the virus. The home is spotlessly clean, all Dad's clothes are freshly laundered and his room always perfect. The food provided for Dad is really good and the special care taken with Birthday cakes or food to celebrate special occasions is really appreciated. The home has a lovely feeling of homeliness and love and it’s so reassuring to know Dad is so well cared for. The grounds are lovely and cared for with love by the lady gardener. The little cafe that had just opened was a lovely addition and allowed us to spend time with Dad in a safe environment. The staff always go the extra mile to help and reassure and it’s greatly appreciated.
What a lovely review. Thank you so much for this wonderful feedback and for taking time to write it. We are very pleased that you are so happy with all aspects of our care at Oaktree Court. We will make sure all of our staff are made aware of your comments.
The staff were excellent, professional yet warm, friendly and caring. Safety was paramount and I received plenty of help in negotiating stairs, lifts and corridors. Entertainment and activities were fun, interesting and enjoyable. The meals were well balanced and delicious. I had a lovely time and will most definitely return to visit the many friends I made. Thank you all at Oaktree Court.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review. We are so pleased you enjoyed your respite stay with us and it was a pleasure to have you with us. We hope we can be of service in the future if required. Warmest wishes from all of us at Oaktree Court.
Excellent.
Thank you so much for your review of our home. We are always appreciative of feedback.
It was very comfortable. The staff were caring, attentive and polite. Pleasant setting and outlook. Had some concern about external door security but this was resolved. My main feedback is the standard of the food. I expected a much better and consistent quality for the fees. I did enjoy the breakfasts.
Thank you for taking the time to complete a review and your comments regarding the food. We are sorry that you felt the quality was not always to a high standard. I have addressed your comments with the kitchen as we always endeavour to respond to all feedback and make any improvements necessary.
Staff are always polite and helpful. When visiting resident she seems very happy and satisfied with the facilities and activities organised. The home is clean and smells fresh. When we have requested to see the management this has always been fulfilled and satisfactory results.
Thank you for taking the time to complete a review of our home and your lovely comments. Feedback is always important to us at Oaktree Court.
Wonderful treatment, caring, kind, helpful. Would give the name to anyone.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review. Your comments are very much appreciated and mean a lot to us.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my week of care here, finding the staff adequate for my needs; very helpful, cheerful and cooperative. The food is well cooked, well served and hot (when necessary)! As there is little entertainment, it can sometimes be a little boring, unless one has one's own facilities - book, puzzle book etc. The TV is little use for me, with my hearing disability (I cannot grumble at that - not being a fan of TV)! I shall look forward to a return visit in the future!
Thank you for your review; all feedback is important to us. The home has a very pro-active activities programme, and there is always a minimum of two activities per day, seven days a week. I have spoken to the activities team who will discuss more alternative options with you on your return.
This is my home now. I have been here about 9-10 months and apart from a couple of times (my fault!) I have been and still am happy.
How wonderful to receive a review from one of our current residents. Thank you so much, this means a great deal to us.
I have always been very impressed with the management and staff's care, support and professionalism. There is always a warm welcome when I visit and everyone is always willing to help and offers assistance when needed.
Thank you so much for your comments and for taking the time to write a review of our home. It is an absolute pleasure to care for Mum at Oaktree.
Lovely caring staff.
Good management team.
Since moving mum to Oaktree I have been delighted with her care. The staff are always friendly and pay attention to Mum's individual needs and adapt policies to make her quality of life as positive as possible. She enjoys the daily activities and outings to a varied amount of places of interest. Interaction with the local community is brilliant and much enjoyed by Mum.
J C, thank you for your lovely comments and wonderful ratings review. We are very pleased that you are happy with all aspects at Oaktree Court.
I am writing to say thank you to all the team for the wonderful care you are offering my Dad. We have been really impressed by the level of care and quality of the environment you have created. It really does feel like home now and it is such a blessing to have such a great team supporting Dad. He is being treated with great dignity and respect whatever his mood. We are impressed by the attitudes of all the staff and the friendly atmosphere they create. The resident's wellbeing is at the heart of everything people are trying to achieve and the staff team work together to make every day special. The activities team have put on an extremely impressive programme that has helped him in body, mind and spirit. It is creative, responsive to the interests of the residents and the activities team have gone out of their way to help Dad to access the activities and trips and valued his interests and experiences.
What a lovely review. Thank you very much for taking the time to write this. Your views are extremely important to us at Oaktree. We will ensure your comments are shared with staff.
Oaktree is spotlessly clean, rooms and lounges are bright and well furnished and provide a calm homely environment.
The gardens are extensive and well cared for and the enthusiastic activities team never stop trying to get residents involved in the ever-changing weekly program of events
The icing on the Oaktree cake is the entire staff, all knowing the residents' names, addressing them accordingly and always treating them with the utmost dignity. They work well as a team and are readily accessible to concerned relatives, however trivial the issue may be.
M R, Thank you for your wonderful review and lovely comments that will be shared with the whole team. It has been a pleasure to care for Dad for the year that he was with us at Oaktree.
Found Oaktree to be open, warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for any member of the team, be they nursing or maintenance. Every member of the team who we came in contact with always was up to date with our friend's condition and situation, demonstrating good communication throughout. Would highly recommend.
David, Thank you very much for your kind words and lovely comments, which are very much appreciated. We are very pleased that you were happy with everything at Oaktree Court.
The end of life care provided for the last few weeks for my Dad was excellent. Everyone was so helpful and caring and as he was only there a short time they made it feel like he had bee with them for ages, and he felt at home and relaxed in those last few weeks. My Mum is currently at Oaktree and she looks so well and settled. The activities and trips they take residents on have made Mum feel like she has got some independence back, even though her mobility is very limited.
Thank you for your lovely review, which is much appreciated. I will ensure that all staff are made aware of your comments. It was a pleasure for us to provide care for Dad and remains so for Mum.
