All of the staff at The Winsor are very caring towards the residents and their families. I feel that my husband and I were always listened to throughout his time there. As a full nursing home, the atmosphere is small, intimate and welcoming.

The home is always very clean and it was comforting to know that the family and I could visit my husband whenever we wanted.

My husband was in The Winsor for the last 5 days of his terminal cancer. During that short time, I cannot praise enough the care, dedication and kindness shown to my husband but also to me.
Nothing was too much trouble for them, they made sure he was comfortable and as pain-free as possible.
He always looked so fresh and clean.

I cannot express my gratitude to all the staff enough, they were wonderful.

A heartfelt thanks to all the staff at The Winsor. All the staff show so much care and compassion and this starts with the management and goes all the way down through the carers, reception, cleaners. The home is so clean. I'm so happy my dad has spent the last few months of his life here.

Everybody has time for the family and any questions or concerns we have. Thank you for making dad so comfortable in his last few days of his life.

In the time that mum has been in the home (3.5years), I have felt comfortable enough to drop in at all times of the day, from very early to late evening and move freely around the home. (without invading privacy of the residents)
The staff were always being respectful, patient and caring. The building is clean and attractive throughout, the meals are good and I love to hear the staff laughing and joking with one another and I'm sure the residents do too.

Office, nursing staff and management are very approachable and helpful.

Staff always helpful. Though one occasion no one was in the lounge with the residents. My mother's room is often a bit smelly and my mother is showered regularly. Activities often very lax not enough. No chair based exercise or such like either.

My husband was admitted to The Winsor Nursing Home in February 2016. Recommended by the local hospice as he is suffering from terminal liver cancer and three fractures of the hip which cannot pinned. From day 1 he was made comfortable and I was made to feel welcome. I spend about 5 hours a day with him which includes having lunch in his room. The lunches are excellent and the staff now puree his food so that he can feed himself. Every member of of staff is very helpful, pleasant, kind and polite.
