Right from the outset the care given to my mother, who arrived following lengthy stays in various hospitals, was outstanding. I was most impressed by the readiness of staff to give their time freely to talk to her, encouraging her to engage with others again. As we live overseas and my mother could
not use a phone, the Manager even arranged regular FaceTime video calls on her own phone and the joy it gave my mother was plain to see. When we were able to visit, I was struck by the happy ambience and by the cleanliness and modern state of the rooms and decor. Meals appeared appetising. Little things made a difference, like the siting of a bird feeder outside her window when she was confined to bed. Regular visits by the local GP were, in this age of covid, a very pleasant surprise and when urgent care became necessary this was prompt and effective. The grounds are lovely and the location is quiet, on the edge of town making access easy. She could not have been in a better place.

When my wife arrived there were some settling in problems which were easily resolved by the kind and considerate staff. They have been wonderful with her and helpful and considerate to me.

Moving into residential care is a large transition both for a service user and their family. Without exception, every single person has been kind, helpful, and professional in supporting us with mum's removal. It's the things that money cannot buy, like attitude, genuine care, and compassion that mean

Extremely impressed with everything to do with Avebury House. The care and kindness shown to my sister are remarkable. Everyone is so kind and helpful, nothing is too much trouble and always with a smile. The food is jummy. The lounge and dining room is like home from home, and we love the decor - nice
and modern, furniture and curtains very pretty.

Very good care home. Dad is well looked after. All his care needs are met. The staff are very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to place a loved one into permanent care.

The home is beautifully set internally and externally with polite, helpful happy staff. They were attentive to the needs of myself and my friend whilst I visited, extremely professional yet warm in their approach. The manager, who was polite, friendly and professional, offered a tour of the facilities.
All areas match the main areas on view. A beautiful setting with exceptional staffing from the manager down. I will enjoy my revisits.

Dad resided in Avebury House briefly in December 2020 and then again for 13 days following a stroke at the end of his life. Care was amazing, he needed nothing - they gave all. And also to family in the last few days. Thank you.
