My Mother moved to the Market Lavington Care Home after breaking her leg. She had dementia and the fall accelerated her condition. The love, support and care the staff show, not only to the residents but the families of those that live there are truly amazing. The calm, peaceful surroundings are homely, clean and fresh. The food is fresh, homemade and prepared daily. My mother was treated with the utmost respect, dignity and love, which is only usually shown within the family, but the staff at Market Lavington are truly exceptional. My mother was put on end of life for her last weeks but the support and love we all received as a family made her passing a truly beautiful and peaceful experience and for that we will always be eternally grateful. Thank you all (each and every one of you) from the bottom of our hearts for helping us make our special memories (including mum's 88th birthday, complete with your amazing birthday cake), that we will treasure forever. xxx
My Dad came to Market Lavington Care Home in an end-of-life pathway and the care he received was exemplary. The staff are always friendly and cared for Dad so well, trying to make him as comfortable as they could. When he passed away, the care and compassion they showed me was very touching. A lovely care home with great staff.
We could not have asked for better care for mum and, during the last few weeks and days we couldn’t have asked for better care for us also! A massive thank you to the whole wonderful team, you will forever be in our hearts and there are no words to express our gratitude!
Amazing care home with amazing staff.
My mum was made to feel welcome in her new home. The staff have taken the time to get to know Mum more and help her settle into her new surroundings. The staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. The accommodation is lovely, clean and fresh but also made to feel homely. The food is lovely, fresh and homemade, Mum is also fortunate to have a lovely view out of her window overlooking the paddocks.
Thank you to everyone for making Mum's last few days bearable.
Thank you with all my heart to all the staff involved in caring for Mum. These staff looked after Mum and me and I will be forever grateful.
You have made Mum feel safe and as her family, us also.
This was a very hard decision we had to make as a family due to what Mum needed care-wise.
When we made the choice to come to your home we were all extremely anxious however your care/staff, everyone, has been so kind and supportive to Mum and my family. Delivering on all that we talked about at the meeting we had.
We have been here all the time nearly and they have looked after my dad also through this sad last journey of Mum's life.
I feel more regular staff are needed, but understand its hard to get as I feel continuity is so important to build trust and friendships with the residents.
I want to thank you all. We have been able to sleep, Dad and I, on Mum's last journey in life and nothing has been too much trouble.
Mum has built a beautiful relationship with one carer (her favourite) and Mum looked forward to when she was on.
Always a lovely welcome when arriving.
We have laughed and cried together and they have at times life our spirits. My family and I (especially me) will miss you all. From the bottom of Mums and our hearts we want to thank you all so much.
Your staff (all staff) are so kind, polite and just a credit to your home in Lavington.
Lots of love from all our family to your HC-One family.
So at 100.07 tonight Mum passed away, thank you to the night staff and all the others for their kind hugs.
I have been in four care homes before this one, this is the best yet.
I enjoy it. Always kind and treated with dignity.
Cleaners are friendly and do a good job.
The staff are kind and I laugh with them.
The staff here treated my Aunt with the greatest care and kindness. They kept me fully informed as her condition deteriorated and made me feel welcome to stay as long as I wanted to as her end approached. Thank you all!
The carers have worked hard to build lovely relationships with her which we really appreciate as a family. Mum says she is warm and comfortable and absolutely relishes the fantastic food she is given - there is clearly a very talented kitchen team and chef!
I am confident the team of nurses and brilliant carers keep Mum feeling safe, secure and as confident as possible. I would not want Mum anywhere else.
I, and as a family are extremely grateful for all the help and support given to us and Dad. We consider ourselves as part of your team.
My father moved into Market Lavington after a long stay in hospital. Moving to a care home was daunting for us all. However, after visiting Dad the next day, I found him happy, clean-shaven and well-cared for. I cannot fault the care home. All the staff and I mean all staff, are friendly and helpful. The home and Dad's room is always clean and tidy and the general feeling around the home and with the staff is a happy one. To sum it up 'one big happy family'.
The dedication shown at all levels of staffing is most gratifying. My uncle is happy and content and so am I, knowing he is being cared for as he should be. Thank you all very much.
We were particularly pleased with the care and support she had towards the end of her life which was very much appreciated by our whole family.
A caring comfortable home like this for one's relative brings great peace of mind at a difficult time, I couldn't recommend it more.
I usually visit once a month and always found the home to be a happy place with caring staff. Staff always on hand to help with any questions or help that is required.
I have been very well treated by all members of staff with whom I have come into contact with. I have found them to be technically competent, courteous and friendly. I have been made to feel very welcome and assisted in settling into my new surroundings in a very relaxed and friendly manner. Any concerns or questions I have raised have been discussed in an open and friendly manner and resolved to my satisfaction. I have been made to feel welcome and part of the group.
