My goal is to ensure that all of our residents and their families and visitors feel comfortable and can enjoy being in this beautiful and welcoming environment; and that the staff feel fully supported to perform at their very best.I began my career as a Speech and Language Therapist, working with adults in hospitals, care homes and in the community. Having moved into leadership and management has provided me the opportunity to drive high standards of care and ensure that people are valued as individuals. I am committed to continuing with these goals in line with the high standards and superior lifestyle delivered throughout Barchester.
The highlight of my work is spending time with the people we support, and I am always available to have a chat about our home, services, staff, and most importantly, our residents.

I joined Henford House in January 2022, coming from the food industry it’s been an interesting change but I find one the best parts of my job is being able to have a chat with residents and hopefully helping to make their day better.

I have worked in Henford as a nurse since 2014. Many things have changed over that time, but the essence of what we do has never changed.I am usually found working on days and my husband Daniel works at night here.
I am always happy to help out with any questions you may have about your loved ones here. I am in regular contact with the doctors and pharmacies to ensure medications are checked regularly, and our residents are healthy.
I originally came from Romania and can speak fluent Italian.

I joined Henford House in March 2014; after five and a half years of domiciliary care, this position became available at Henford and I decided that it would be great to do more of the fun things in life with residents! It is great here at home; we get along so well and truly have some laughs. Residents have a wide range of activities to participate in each week, including armchair exercises, bingo sessions, singalongs, musical entertainment, pottery, manicures, celebrations and much more. It is very rewarding knowing that people are grateful for the work I've done when I go. Working here has also given me the opportunity to gain my Level 2 NAPA certificate.

I have worked at Henford House for many years and enjoy my role. We all work together as a team and its a very happy place to be. I love being involved with the residents and even took on some care shifts. We are one big family!

I joined Henford House Care Home as a Care assistant in June 2016. I very much enjoy my role here.

I joined Henford House Care Home in 1989 as the Gardener, I thoroughly enjoy my job.The grounds are fabulous, and I have taken great pride in building a beautiful environment for our residents and visitors to enjoy - weather permitting.
I also hold a weekly Gardening club with the Residents, which is very popular. Many of the residents have had a life-long interest and passion for gardening, and it is wonderful that I am able to support them to continue with this.

I'm working towards my 30 year aware now!Working as a laundry assistant here is much more than just working in the laundry - I get to spend time with every resident, and have been able to build friendships with many of them.
This is a beautiful place to work.
