The care I am receiving here is excellent.
The nursing and care staff are kind, considerate, friendly and even at their busiest will help with whatever you need - be it picking up a stray TV remote or handling requests for coffee in the wee hours.
Always there with a smile or a chat.

The new menu changes are also very good.

I had a mini-stroke on Friday and my doctor sent me by ambulance to the hospital for a brain scan. It was positive but the hospital couldn't send me home as I live alone so it was decided that I should spend a week in a care home. I came to Barchester White Lodge Care Home as they did respite and my wife has been a resident for two years. I have been very well looked after and my disabilities improved due to the daily care and attention so I can go home soon.

Feel that staff have paperwork in place now so the place feels more secure. Staff friendly and seem happier. If there is a problem, things are sorted now. There are people to talk to if one has a concern. The whole system has changed over the last few months as things have been put in place to make life better of residents and friends.

My mother moved into White Lodge straight after a long flight from Australia. The staff have been amazing, welcoming and so kind. The administrator and receptionist have gone above and beyond the normal. Nothing has been too much bother from our first enquiry until she moved in. Absolutely outstanding. Mum says it's all so friendly, warm and homely. She loves it.

Thank you so much for your kindness.

My father stayed here for respite and with him having dementia he was a bit apprehensive, but on seeing him toward the end of his stay he was loving it. He said the staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for him. He was taken in his wheelchair around the grounds which he found to be lovely as he was looking at the flowers, being a keen gardener in his younger years.

Would recommend White Lodge Care Home for sure.

My father has been resident at White Lodge since January. I have found the carers and the management to be very responsive to requests and observations about his care, which is so important for us as Dad has difficulty expressing his needs.
His dedicated carers are kind, respectful and encouraging.
The atmosphere at White Lodge is both cheerful and peaceful, rooms are pleasnat and family and friends are made very welcome.

The house is in a beautiful setting. Dad is content and we are reassured he is well cared for.

My mother went into hospital and then 2 other care homes before coming to you. She stayed in bed and lost weight. Since coming to you, she has put on 4kgs and is getting out of bed. Also, she is socialising with the other residents. I am very impressed as even when she lived at home, she refused and we had many arguments over this, to go out and socialise.

My uncle has recently moved into Barchester White Lodge Care Home. We have noticed a vast improvement in him and wanted to note that we are extremely pleased with his change in mood and the care that he is receiving.

Our Grandmother has also been a resident here for nearly two years and since she moved there the quality of care that she now receives is much improved from the previous home she was in and she is much happier as a result of this.
