All of the team here at Perry Locks show genuine care and commitment to the welfare and happiness of the residents. Both of my parents are here and the team have shown immense kindness in facilitating them being together as we navigate their individual health issues.
They demonstrate an interest in who their residents are as people, the lives they have lived and the way they prefer to be treated.
Although I don't think either of my parents has been able to partake in the social events yet, it's great to know they can choose to join in if they're able to.

The admin team have also been easy and caring to work with and their kindness to me has not gone unnoticed.

My father has recently been received at Perry Locks Care Home - Brooklyn House and the staff present, have made him and his family feel very welcome. When I have observed the staff talking to my dad, he is spoken to with respect and treated with dignity. I also give credit and thanks to the management and office staff who have been flexible with appointments to complete placement papers.

Since moving to the care home, my mum has thrived and I'm impressed over how well looked after she is. I like the flexibility in terms of visits and the fact that I can see my mum any time I want, this gives me confidence that the staff have nothing to hide and are very kind and caring as well as good-humoured. Overall, I'm very pleased with my mum's care.

My mum sadly passed away a week ago, but the care and compassion the staff shown us as a family and her in particular was much appreciated. I cannot speak highly enough of how they made her last few days as comfortable as they could. Thank you to all the staff of Lawrence House and Perry Locks Care Home.

I feel very satisfied with the excellent services. I will recommend anyone suitable for care, they are good, showing kind care. I can understand that the staff are always busy and it takes five minutes to answer the call bed. The only thing I think the management needs is to work on is staffing levels. Staff are friendly and kind and they will do anything in their power to help me. I am happy to stay, I wouldn't be here if I was not happy.

I am always made welcome at Perry Locks Birmingham. I find the staff very caring and dedicated. The residents always look clean and well cared for and there is always something going on (entertainment) which keeps them stimulated and I have often joined in the entertainment which is fun. The home is very clean and the gardens are well kept with lots of tubs of lovely flowers. I always feel at home at Perry Locks and never feel rushed when visiting my friend and I am always offered a cup of tea, which is nice.

I am washed in the morning to prepare for breakfast. It varies how well I am treated by the carers. Some treat me with care and dignity others do not.

I would recommend people to Perry Locks.

The food is excellent, but my partner can not eat most of it owing to her illness. Somebody came down to see her a few times, but nothing happened a few times, but she enjoys what she can eat.

Mum has been at Catherine House since April 2019. My sister and I visit regularly. Mum is always happy and content and often comments about how well looked after she is, how nice ther staff are and how much she likes her room. Mum is a cup of tea fan, so the fact that she receives them regularly is a big plus for her. Our thanks to everyone who cares for Mum so well.

Did not know what to expect for the Jubilee celebrations but was so pleased we came. He was being fed and cared for by a member of staff when we arrived and we were so pleased to see that the staff were very attentive to residents and visitors. Plenty of food and drinks for all.
