The team at Robert Harvey House did an exceptional job of looking after dad over the last two years as his Alzheimers slowly progressed to its ultimate conclusion.
The decision to place dad into a care home was a tough one, especially against the backdrop of Covid 19 which prevented the family from looking at the facility prior to dad's placement, straight from hospital. When we could visit, some months later, all of our worries about how he might be being cared for were quickly allayed. The staff were so warm and welcoming and we could see that he was in good hands.
As we went through various lockdowns and were unable to visit again we could always take comfort from knowing that dad was in safe hands in a lovely environment.
The staff kept us in touch with dad's condition as it worsened and we were able to be with dad during his final days and hours. The staff were so kind, helpful, and caring during these sad times.

We would not hesitate to recommend Robert Harvey House to anyone.

Thank you so much for taking the time to review our home and the care we gave to your father. It’s such a difficult time during covid to place so one into care when the whole country were put into the first lockdown. Thank you for trusting in our home and looking after your father, our care comes from the heart at BCOP and pleased that this was felt by you and your lovely family.

Our sister was a resident at Robert Harvey House for 2.5 years following a diagnosis of dementia. Her health declined rapidly leaving us as a family both shocked and at times somewhat bewildered at the sudden changes in her. Throughout this period the staff at Robert Harvey House were not just professional but caring and loving in the way they treated us all as a family.

We cannot find words sufficient to describe the highest standard of medical and pastoral care our sister received throughout her time at Robert Harvey House and have no hesitation to recommend the home and those who care for the residents. In short Robert Harvey House provide not just accommodation but a ‘family home’ for their residents in the fullest sense of the words.

Our mom moved into Robert Harvey almost 7 years previously. The decision to place her into a care home was a very difficult one for myself and 5 other siblings. However, on my first visit to the care home, I knew it was going to be Mom's new home. The staff knew Mom very very well and as her dementia progressed we all felt they cared for her as well as any family member would. The residents are all like family. We couldn't have asked for Mom to have lived anywhere else and we will be forever grateful to all the staff at the home. We were able to be with Mom in her final stages and were made to feel very welcome. Thank you will never be enough. We would absolutely recommend Robert Harvey House to anyone looking to place their loved ones in a care facility.

The care, love, respect and overall dedication the management and staff gave our uncle was above and beyond what we ever expected. They gave us another year and a half with him that we never expected. Words can never describe the debt we owe them all. Thank you, thank you, thank you. God bless each and every one of you angels.

The manager and staff could not be more helpful, friendly and caring. The resident is treated with respect and given choices that they can choose to do or not. The home is beautifully laid out. The rooms are all bright and airy and the setting is lovely. I know that my dad is in the best place and very well cared for. Top marks to all.

The manager and her team cared for my uncle for 3 1/2 years until he passed away 3 weeks ago. He was very well looked after by all the staff and they became part of his family. They showed him great kindness, patience and were highly dedicated to his care and well-being. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The residents' rooms are very spacious, great ensuite facilities, built-in wardrobes (just like a 5-star hotel!). The care home is very spacious, very clean and also had different dining rooms and sitting rooms for residents. The garden outside is fabulous and well looked after. My family and I would highly recommend Robert Harvey Nursing Home to anyone needing extra care without any hesitation whatsoever. I wish the manager and her team all the very best in the future and we will definitely miss visiting the home.

My father has been in this home now for 18 months and we can honestly say he is well looked after and cared for, which is a great comfort to our family.
The staff are lovely, always friendly and take the time to have a chat and update us on how my father has been.

The place is welcoming, bright and has a lovely outdoor garden area, complete with animals to stimulate the residents.

Robert Harvey House is just fantastic and I tell anyone who will listen to me all about it. The staff are all very friendly and caring. The accommodation is kept clean and spotless and the bedrooms are as good as any quality hotel. The food was of a high standard and there was always a choice for the residents. Mum was a resident from August 2019 to November 2019 when she sadly passed away. My dad, my sister and I are so grateful for the care, attention, dignity and respect all the staff gave to mum throughout her stay and especially during her final hours when they came into her room to say 'good night' and give her a kiss before they went home. They knew mum wouldn't be there in the morning. The staff also cared for the three of us during mum's last hours providing us with food and drinks throughout the day. Nothing was too much trouble for them and we will never forget them. I will always recommend Robert Harvey to anyone looking for a nursing home. Simply the best!

My mother arrived at Robert Harvey House in mid-November 2019, to have an assessment. Since that date, Mom has received what I can only describe as outstanding service. Every visit I have made my Mom has looked very clean, her hair had been attended to and the staff, who I can't praise enough, tended to every need with courtesy and professionalism. the care is of the highest standard. Absolutely outstanding, I would recommend this home to anyone.

Robert Harvey House have looked after both my mother and my father over the past 5 years.
Both were very happy there and treated well. As we were only able to visit at weekends it was always difficult to obtain information from weekend staff.
A classic was when my mother died and they didn't bother finding my mobile number from her file when they got no response from my landline number.

I had to call the morning after to be told she had died at 2am!
