This was our first care home experience and I was apprehensive initially and now I would not hesitate to use this care home again. the staff are attentive and very caring.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are so pleased to hear your kind comments about our team. They are dedicated to providing respectful and person-centered care, and your feedback will be shared with them - it will mean a lot.
Excellent support and care from all the staff + managers whilst my partner Tony was there for assessment + respite prior to returning home. Staff go out of there way to provide a positive caring environment.
We are so pleased your partner had an enjoyable stay during his respite in the home. We will ensure your feedback is passed to the manager and staff team. Thank you
Our relative has been cared for amazingly over the last couple of years. At times she could be a very difficult to care for, she was a force to be reckoned with, but the staff always treated her with care, respect and love.
The word home here is perfect because that is what it became a home full of people whom cared dearly for her.
Her care in the last days of her life was also above and beyond they kept us updated at all time and the nursing staff at the end made sure she passed peacefully with dignity and her family around her.
Thank you all we will never forget the care.
I couldn't give this review enough words to say so extremely satisfied I am. First 100% care to my late mother + now the same to my father. The staff, the support, the food, nursing + care that my father is very happy with. I did not know how he would cope with the passing my mother but the staff have individually gone our of their way to look after my father + knowing he this makes me extremely happy having first class care and attention. Big thank you to Maxine for running a tight ship.
Thank you for your lovely review Joanne, I will pass on your comments to the staff.
My father is a resident here @ The Beaufort Care Home. Next month will be three years since he came here. I cannot praise Maxine, the manager and Tilly the nurse, all of the carers + Michelle the cook, enough. Every member of staff has the utmost respect for, not only my dad, but for all residents. My father is extremely happy residing here. Highly recommended.
Thank you for your lovely review Jayne. Very much appreciated, I will pass on your comments to our team.
Yesterday I was present whilst the carer saw to my husband's personal care and change of clothes. He was extremely respectful and took great care to explain everything he was going to do. He explained clearly and asked permission to carry out each task. His calm and professional manner are to be commended as he made my husband completely at ease. It is clear that because of this they have a great rapport. Well done!
Thank you so much for your review. It is very much appreciated and I will pass your thoughtful comments onto our team.
Overall excellent.
Thank you so much for your review, it is very much appreciated. I will pass on your comments to the staff.
This is my 5th visit, easy to access building and check in, everyone welcoming. Rooms always warm. My auntie has moved rooms and it looks fresh. Unfortunately there's always a slight smell of wee. Always some activities for my auntie to join in.
Thank you for your feedback. We are so pleased to hear that your auntie has settled well. We take all feedback seriously, including your comment about the slight smell. Maintaining a fresh and comfortable environment is a priority for us, and we will look into this immediately. If you'd like to...
The overall improvement is outstanding. The staff seem more responsible. I was not at all happy when my wife was admitted with general situations. Thank you for upgrading in all respects. Apart from food quality, this was always excellent.

My mum has been at The Beaufort for some time but I can honestly say that over the last few year the home has been brilliant. From a proactive leader in the home manager and brilliant admin staff that always greet you with a smile, but most importantly are the carers that look after my mum. Always so cheerful and happy to attend to my mum. Always the same staff to provide continuity in care. They are so aware of my mum's needs and situation and I always feel she gets holistic care to meet all her needs. The kitchen staff always try and provide personalised meals to accommodate my mum and a daily menu is available for all the residents. I always feel I can approach the staff and I'm listened to with any concerns. The home is warm and friendly and I would recommend anyone to trust their loved ones to be cared for at The Beaufort.
Thank you so much for leaving such a thoughtful review. It's wonderful for the team to read just what a positive impact they have, not only on the lives of our residents but also their wider families. New care seekers will take a lot of confidence from reading your review when considering The Beaufort for their loved one. With best wishes
The manager, nurses and care staff went out of their way to look after Mum who went into the home for a short stay. Thank you for looking after her so well. We are very grateful.
Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you and your mum felt supported.
Thanks once again, Mum was definitely in the best place at the end.
Thank you so much for your kind words and appreciation.
The manager, nurses and all staff are caring and compassionate people. You can tell they genuinely want to make Beaufort a lovely place for their residents to live. Nothing is ever too much trouble and frequently ask me how they can make my mum happy and contented. Since the new manager started there has been a huge improvement in the feel of the home. They offer lots of activities for the residents and try to get as many as able, to join in. All the time there is close monitoring of residents' health by the nurses. All in all it's a friendly happy environment and they take lots of pleasure in seeing happy residents. My mum has dementia and I have seen a massive improvement in her mental state because of the dedication of the staff. I'd like to thank each and every one of them from the bottom of my heart. They have also supported me when I've struggled emotionally. I can't praise them enough. They are currently making a lovely bar for the residents for celebratory occasions.
Thank you so much for your positive feedback, we are happy to hear you are happy with the care provided.
So pleased to see the carpet, which was very smelly and soiled, has been removed from my friend's room and replaced with lovely laminate flooring. It looks and smells so much fresher. Well done to the new manager.
Thank you for your feedback, I will pass this on to the staff.
My mother came to The Beaufort Care Home in April, and I have nothing but good things to say about it and the staff. My mother was treated with dignity and respect and nothing was too much trouble, she was only a resident there for 3 months but the staff very quickly warmed to her. Many thanks from all the family.
Thank you for your positive feedback, it is very much appreciated.
Very friendly staff. The manager has been so helpful with advice. I have seen a massive improvement in my mum's health.
Thank you for your positive feedback, it is very much appreciated.
My mother is looked after well. She had a stroke and the carers are very careful with her, looking after all her needs. It is like being at home. Her room feels cosy with her own things.
