I cannot thank everyone at Evedale enough for the excellent care and compassion shown to my husband in his last weeks. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and all staff, from nursing, admin, the kitchen, and maintenance were always welcoming and helpful on my daily visits. To show such dedication and commitment in their roles was such a comfort and blessing in what was a difficult time for our family.

As someone who works for social services I did my research on Evedale and went and visited them as well. The care and support everyone gave my mum was excellent. Everyone went above and beyond the care and love they showed to her and us as a family, especially my dad. I was asked to write up everything about mum. her likes, dislikes, etc. and every part of this was followed. When mum passed, I was told everyone came out and waved her goodbye. I can't express in words how fabulous Evedale is.

We cannot speak highly enough of this care home and would wholeheartedly recommend it to others.

Our Nan was only with them for a short time, but the compassion, kindness, and care she received during that week made a lasting impression on all of us. She was treated with genuine warmth, dignity, and respect in her final days, which meant everything to our family.

The compassion, kindness, and care extended not only to Nan, but to us as well. The reassurance, empathy, and support we were given during such a difficult time helped more than words can say.

We will always be truly grateful for everything they did, and we would not hesitate to recommend this care home to anyone looking for a place where people are treated with real humanity and respect.

I was very reluctant for my mother to go to a care home. I had given up work to look after her full time. However after two and a half years, I just couldn't cope anymore .My sister and I had visited quite a few homes but something was missing.

We met the care manager in the hospital; as my mother had been admitted. I instantly liked her, the understanding and kindness towards my mother and I. The care home is beautifully decorated, we met a few staff who all seemed full of life, the day we visited they had a band playing. My mother has been there since November and I do not worry about her when Im home. My mother always seems happy they also have activities and nice garden rooms its been three months now and we have no complaints so far.

The home has a very warm, welcoming atmosphere when you first walk in. All the staff are kind, caring and compassionate. I am so pleased we managed to secure a place for my dad. We know if we have a problem, we can speak to the manager or deputy manager, who will endeavour to resolve any issues that may have occurred. It's a pleasure to visit my dad, knowing he is now in his forever home and being looked after so well. Thank you, everyone.

As a former health professional who is well versed with the local care home sector I am able to confidently say from a personal perspective that Evedale Nursing home provided outstanding and consistent care and support to the resident and to myself at a very difficult time.

My father-in-law has been a resident at Evedale for 3 weeks. During his time at Evedale all staff have shown wonderful care, kindness + friendship. The premises are of a high standard, since having a refurbishment + my father-in-law's room is very spacious with ensuite. The entertainment is good especially the Elvis tribute last saturday. Evedale is well led by it's manager and there is a very positive and happy vibe with the staff. Cleanliness is to a very good standard. I would recommend Evedale to family + friends.

I am writing on behalf of my elderly mum. Mum was so pleased with the care given to her husband in the last few weeks of his life due to Alzheimer's, as he could be quite difficult, and they treated him with respect and dignity. My dad was at Evedale Care Home for only a few weeks before he died. The care from the staff was wonderful; they did their best to engage him in the activities, and he almost always had someone with him. My father was admitted to Evedale on the end of life pathway after spending multiple weeks in hospital. The care staff are outstanding nothing was too much trouble they looked after us as a family and ensured we was ok, offered food and drinks and we always around when needed. They made the transition of dad's final days the best they could have been. I would particularly like to thank a carer for her generosity on the day dad passed not only did she ensure dads dignity was respected but he received the best level of care leading up to his final minutes but the passion and care she gave myself I will never be able to forget her kindness.

My dad arrived at Evedale on September 10th after a very bad experience at another home. We arrived at a very warm welcome from all these staff and taken to his room, which was lovely. Dad has settled in very well. On every visit, the staff will ask if everything is okay and if nothing is too much trouble. The meals are very nice and his room is so very clean. The manager and staff are very approachable. Ten days dad has been here and the difference is remarkable. The activity program is so good for dad. Everything is so perfect for him. Thank you to all the staff.
