From the moment my wife and I enter Lyndon Hall we were made to feel welcome. The staff made a fuss of my wife.
The wife who suffers young onset Alzheimers was in for two weeks respite. My wife has been happier than I’ve seen her in a long time.
All the staff loved caring for my wife... What more can a person ask for.

So a big thank you to everyone.

My father recently spent two weeks in respite care here and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The care received was excellent. Every member of staff was kind, caring and professional and it was clear they genuinely wanted to provide the best support. It is a lovely environment. Thank you to everyone for your kind support. You are making a meaningful difference to the lives of the people in your care. I would happily recommend this care home to anyone needing respite or long term care.

The staff have worked well in the heatwave and done everything they can to keep all the residents as cool as possible.
My main concern is there is no air conditioning except on the floor where the managers office is. This has always been the case since at least 2015 when my dad was also a resident here.

There are not enough fans on my mums unit also due to the extreme heat in the kitchen and laundry room, it set the fire alarms off and the fire brigade attended.

From the moment I walked into the home, I could 'feel' the care. My Mom spent the last week of her life being cared and comforted by the wonderful staff on 'Sunflowers' wing. Everyone was so thoughtful and always had time to stop and talk and happy to help in any way possible. Debbie a wonderful home manager who I feel I've known for years not just over a week. If you can please pass on my thanks to everyone at this very difficult time. Knowing they care means the world to me.

I would like to say a massive 'thank you' to all of the members of staff and supportive manager, for the care and love given to my dad whilst he stayed there. Dad was always cleaned, the room was clean, dads medical needs was always attended to. From reception, straight to dads room, everyone was welcoming very approachable manager, very pleasant. I highly recommend.

The care that was given to my nan during her time here was dignified, professional and just overall outstanding.

Nan arrived on a Thursday, by the Sunday she was unresponsive. She passed away 8 days later. I cannot thank all the staff they were amazing not just to nan but to us as a family especially as I slept on a crash mat next to nan every night. Thank you. I will never forget that time.

Mum moved to Lyndon Hall directly from hospital in june 2025. Sadly, three days after arriving there she required palliative care and passed away a week later.

The staff were so caring and there was no issue with family visiting night and day, staying overnight etc. Thank you to all the nurses and care staff for caring for mum with care, compassion and dignity.

The carers at Lyndon Hall are amazing. They have so much time & patience with my mom. She came from another Local care home and the difference in care is unbelievable you can tell that they are happy in the work and Listen to the residents Family wishes or concerns. Especially a few members of staff and the manager is always on site day, night and weekends and never too busy to have a chat. I'm so happy my mom is in Lyndon Hall.

Dad's been at Lyndon Hall now for nearly 6 years now.
The care he's received over the years has been exceptional. I'm always informed about any issues with him.
Staff are friendly and supportive to dad and myself.
Dad's looked after so well and I'm so thankful for that.

I'm able to now visit as his daughter and not his caregiver

Staff are always friendly and willing to share details of how Mom is doing. I know mom is being locked after because she seems happy and certainly lets you know if she's not.

Mom spends most of her time in the lounge as she likes to see what's going on. The staff have always tended to her knees whilst I have been visiting. They try their best to get her to eat and drink which I appreciate as it is a very difficult task!

Mom was readily welcomed by the manager and nurse. Her room is light and airy with ensuite facilities. The receptionist always greets you on visiting (every day). The care staff on Poppy work relentlessly, it's very physically demanding for them. The team of nurses are there to listen to concerns and reassure, I approach them often, feeling free to do so. The household staff and cleaning team are so friendly as they have around, chatting to bedbound patients and visitors alike. A hairdresser and chiropodist are available and other activities: singing, bingo, craft.

Mom's health and well-being have improved 100% since her admission to Lyndon Hall. The staff are friendly and attentive to Mom and the family. Without the care of Lyndon Hall, I'm sure Mom's outcome would have had a negative impact on all our lives as a family.
