My mom came into Parklands Court in July. I never wanted to put my mom in a home but she was very ill due to having a stroke. They have been very good to my mom. They do not hide anything, you can come into the home whenever you want to, they are very nice to you. They make you feel at home and when I leave my mom I know she is safe with them, so I can go home and rest. If anybody asked me about Parklands Court I would say it is a very good home and they have looked after my mom.

From entering the home all the staff have been so kind to us and my mother. Someone is continually checking in to see if all is well, offering tea etc. You are truly blessed to have such caring staff. They show the utmost care, attention and indeed love to my mother. She is blessed to spend her remaining time here.

My Mum has been very well looked after during her stay. I find the staff very helpful and sympathetic at all times when I have visited. Living in Newcastle, I often phone to check on her wellbeing. I am always given comfort in the way my mother is doing.

this care home is a stop gap before my mother returns home. During her stay, all the staff have been very caring and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The home is very clean and a happy, friendly environment. I would recommend it to anyone looking to place a family member. My mother's well being has improved more here in 2 weeks than elsewhere. Thanks to all the staff.

My mother was sent to ' Parklands Court Care Home' from hospital. Some of the care was physio and was not always available for her but overall the staff and care was very good. As a family, we all feel Mum was safe and cared for when she was there.

Very kind, caring staff - from top to cleaners, handy man etc. A suitable room. I was welcomed every day, offered a drink etc. I could always find some one to answer any questions. Good lounge area and quiet, pretty garden (always requiring even more time and money).

We were so pleased with the care and kindness of all the staff on Samual House. I was there with my mother-in-law 24/7 for six days while she was ill and I witnessed the staff and residents, some quite a handful, but the care staff showed them all kindness and care. If I had to go into a home II is the one I would choose. Can recommend it. The staff also are very kind to us relatives too, nothing too much trouble.
From our initial visit to vet Parklands Court to my mothers placement there, management and care staff in Samuel House where my mother was assigned was most excellent. The management answered all our inquires courteously and without hesitation. The Samuel House day staff and night staff were always courteous and understanding and very care focused to all residents in their care. Over the 5 short months that my mother was at Parklands Court I can say that I have no regrets or complains, only praise for the way the staff helped and nursed my mother during her last 10 days in Samuel House. Every assistance was offered to my wife and I over the final days mother was in palliative care. She passed away on 23rd Feb aged 91 yrs in the presence of a family member and the faithful caring staff to the end.
My aunt has been in Clarendon Unit since May of 2015. Whilst there, she has been treated with the utmost dignity by the Carers but they need more staff to help carry on the excellent work. My Aunt is always well presented, enjoys her food especially as she was a fussy eater and is very settled here. The Unit is a very busy one and the staff are always on the go hence they do not always get the chance to spend more than a few minutes with each resident. My Aunt is happy, so I am happy.

The care provided is good, the food is good personal hygiene is fair, always clean shaven etc. My only complaint is with laundry and housekeeping. My husbands clothes are often mixed up with other patients and they are all clearly marked with his name on and on a few occasions his woollens have been shrunk and clothes disappearing.
Margaret Seems well cared for and seems happy in herself. The staff all seem cheerful and friendly and treat the residents with great respect. Her bedroom is bright and airy with all personal affects displayed as we asked. We have always been impressed with the cleanliness as we arrive at all times with no notice. The only thing we cannot comment on are activities as we haven't encountered any.
Samuel House. During the three years my mother-in-law has resided in Samuel House she has been treated and cared for in a professional, compassionate and caring manor. My mother-in-law can be, due to her dementia a very difficult and at times aggressive lady, and she has received very kind and caring handling of every situation. We are very happy with her care and to the staff especially the unit manager who is always "on the ball" at every incident.
