My father has been in Anville Court for several weeks now, since the moment he arrived he has been treated with the greatest of care, nothing is too much trouble for any member of staff, they are all amazing from the reception staff to the nursing and carer teams and of course, the home manager. The nurses and carers have the greatest amount of patience with him even when he is being difficult, they look after him extremely well and take care of all his needs to the highest standards. Not only do they look after the residents but they also are very caring towards us as a family, we are always made to feel welcome, nothing is too much trouble. My mother visits most days and is made to feel very welcome with the warm family feeling that Anville Court gives, I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Excellent care home with good food, and clean and pleasant rooms. The care staff could not be better and all work with smiles on their faces. The management is first class and could not be more helpful in sorting out any problems.

Mum moved here at the start of August for palliative care, it was without a doubt the best place she could have been in.
To give others the care of your loved one is not easy to do but the staff here are incredible. They care so much for their residents. The meals Mum had were restaurant quality and if there wasn't anything she fancied on the menu then another meal would be cooked for her.
We dined with her for Sunday lunch and it was very special to be made to feel so welcome.
Mum sadly passed away and the care that was given to us during her final days was incredible. The staff were genuinely upset to see Mum go as they had grown so fond of her in such a short space of time.

I am so glad that my mum was safe, well looked after and loved by the staff that we were able to know that when we weren't with her she was in very safe hands. We as her family thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

Although my mother was reluctant to engage with anyone during her first weeks in Anville Court with staff encouragement she has begun to get involved in activities. The staff have been very patient and understanding during this time. Consequently, my mother has begun to enjoy her time in care. Thank you.

Our brother was only with Anville Court a short time (approx 4 months) but was treated very well by all staff as if he was a brother to all of them. His care was always a priority, his meals very well thought out. He was always kept clean as his toilet needs being incontinent. His room always kept immaculate.

We felt it was an excellent experience for all the family to see how he had such caring care. Many thanks to all.

My mother moved to Anville Court 3 months ago and she has settled in well. She seems happy and content. The manager and all staff are very helpful, caring and compassionate. Nothing is too much trouble for them. My mum's room is small, cosy and very warm and comfortable. The communal lounge is available and entertainment is very good for the residents. The food menu is varied. My mum is kept very clean and tidy and always treated with respect and dignity.

A lovely supportive home that is extremely well-led which is evident in the day-to-day running of the home.
All the staff from care staff, domestic staff, kitchen staff, and reception make you feel welcome so it really does feel like my mom's home.
Staff have taken time to get to know my mom and her family and treat us with dignity and respect.
My requests are always answered and staff listen to us.
Kitchen staff always try and fulfil requests, are approachable and chatty and take time to get to know people. The food is presented well and a good choice.
The afternoon tea trolley is a lovely touch.
The home is well looked after and always spotless and the rooms are well maintained.
The garden is lovely and also well maintained and families are able to use this space when they want.
Activities are great and significant days are always celebrated.
It was a difficult time when my mom first moved into the home and has been made easier by the welcoming attitude of the staff.

Thank you to you all.

Wow. What a difference in this home to the previous one Mom was in. Everything about the home oozes professionalism, from the reception right the way through every department to the management. The home gives the impression of almost looking like a hotel. The rooms are more than enough for care to be given, with complete matching furniture that gives the rooms that home feeling. Staff are eager to talk and listen and are professional in every respect.

Dad with brain cancer in palliative care kicked out 5am! Never use! He has now fallen again as I have had to take him to my place with stairs. Honestly such a joke - most of the staff were shocked that he was going! It seems to be the managers that have it in for him!

Do not send your loved ones here!
A loved one was kicked out of this care home this morning after suffering a fall at the home. When he was discharged from the hospital the deputy refused to let him stay and called the police! This man is on end-of-life care for brain cancer!
I am very surprised at the reviews on this website, as the reviews on another review platform are very poor, with other families suffering at the hands and decisions of this care home!

May God have mercy on the deputy that made this decision. Karma is real.

As a family, we were very pleased with the home.

Mum was initially moved into the home for recovery following a short spell in hospital, the care she received was first class so much so that we have now decided (along with mum's input) to move her into the home on a permanent basis.

Mom moved into Anville Court from sheltered housing around a month ago, and the improvement in her health is marked. She looks so much better, but the biggest improvement is with her legs - for almost 2 years she’s struggled with swollen legs (Lymphodema) and had sores related to this. Within 2 weeks of moving into Anville Court, her legs are now a normal size, she has no sores and doesn’t need dressings anymore. The home is run to a very nice standard and Mom has a choice of food from a varied menu that changes daily. The activities manager is lovely and has made such a difference in helping Mom adjust. Have to specifically praise the nurses who are excellent and the manager who has been readily available to chat with our family and make sure Mom is happy and that her care is tailored for her. It’s such a relief to know Mom is getting such good care 24/7.

Due to issues with previous care for my Mom I had great concerns when she was moved again. The manager and the great team at Anville Court Care Home have done everything they could to allay our fears. This has been done through the great care they have given my Mom and the fact my Mom seems so much more settled. Thanks again to all the team.
