Hi Michael, it has been our pleasure. Your mum is a character who deserves the best care. She settled well and given the struggles previously I am so pleased she has found Anville a place she can stay.
Hi Tina,
Many thanks for the lovely words and such a positive review.
Your mum was a lovely lady who will sit in the hearts and memories of many of our staff. Many thanks for taking the time to do this review, I will ensure the staff know how much you appreciated the care given.
I am sorry for your experience in a very difficult time. As you identified I was not in the building when you came to collect his belongings otherwise I would most defiantly have come to offer condolences.
I rang when I was back and I apologise for not being in touch sooner. I apologise for your experience of thinking that I couldn't be bothered. I know that the staff on shift had offered condolences at your sad loss.
I assure you that empathy and compassion are not part of money being made. The human side of care is always keenly felt by anyone who works in this challenging sector. I acknowledged your sad loss at the soonest time I was able. I know the staff in the building offered their condolences at the time.
We all wish you the best for yourself as you deal with your sad loss.
Hi Patrick,
Thanks for the review. I know that you had some concerns initially so it is great to see that you feel so settled. There is no better type of review than one from someone who uses the service. You are most welcome and glad Anville is working for you.
Hi,
Many thanks for these lovely words, I shall pass this along to the staff as it is great for them to know their hard work is appreciated.
Hi Mandy, many thanks for this lovely review of Anville Court. It's heartening to have such positive feelings shared, even though we know that this is such a difficult time for you both. We are always happy to support any of our residents and their families in whatever way we can, so long as it is within our means. We want to make everyone feel supported and cared for when they are here. It is important to us all.
Thank you for the review. The families of our residents are as important to us, as we all want the best for them. We want everyone to have a positive experience when they come to Anville. I will make sure the staff are given the positive feedback you have given on them. Look forward to seeing you soon.
I am sorry that you didn't receive any information about the added extras we can provide. I am reviewing the handbook and this is something that we will include, thank you for bringing it to my attention. The information is in the contract that families are sent but I think in the handbook will be useful too. I suggest that you have a chat with our administrator either when you are next here or call her and she will help with your query. Please contact me if you need anything. My door is open.
Hi, I am sorry that you have been having such issues. I was not aware that you had such concerns and would be pleased to meet to discuss them. In regard to the doorbell, we have staff at reception until 6pm in the evening. If you ever have to wait, I would again encourage you to come and talk to me when you are here so I can look at what was happening to delay anyone answering the door.
All our food is cooked on site daily. Your mum is offered a choice of menu and should she not want what is on offer then if she wishes an alternative would be available. If you wish to be here to support your mum at meal times it might encourage her to eat more. Your mum prefers to take her meals in her room alone and not go to the dining room.
Our staffing numbers are in line with national guidance and we ensure that everyone is attended to when they call us. I will review this for your mum so I can provide you with the information when you are next here.
Dear M G,
Thank you so much for your kind words of encouragement for the staff. I will make sure that they are told of how pleased you were with your mom's care.
Kind regards and grateful thanks,
Helen Whitehouse,

Thank you for your kind words: they are greatly appreciated by all of the staff team.

My name is Kelly Richardson and I am the Manager of Anville Court Nursing Home.
I began my nursing career in 1996 when I joined the Army as a Health Care Assistant and went on to qualify as a Registered Nurse in 2006 at the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine in Birmingham. I served multiple operational tours during my 14 years in the Army and left to join the NHS in 2010 to take on a new challenge. From there I developed into Management and have loved it ever since.
I have very high standards and a passion for elderly care and Dementia and I Pride myself on person-centred care as a Nurse which is why I went on to become a Nurse Manager.
I aim for all our Residents to have the best Quality of life whilst living at Anville court including meaningful activities and daily person-centred care.
