Our Weekly Fee is based on the choice of bedroom and the personal care needs required. Before admission, a professional team member will assess to understand the support and care your loved one requires within the home. A personalised and tailored care plan will be created and monitored daily using our electronic care system.

Meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner), unlimited snacks and drinks
Accommodation with bed & and bedding, towels, bedroom furniture, chair, curtains, lighting and individually controlled heating
Laundering of bedding, towels, and personal clothing (except dry cleaning)

Cleaning and decoration of rooms

Range of in-house activities and external outings (excluding admission fees, if applicable)
Care and daily assistance in-line with assessment.


Prices quoted are based on permanent residency, per person per week for single occupancy.
Prices are subject to an individual care needs assessment and the type of room and services chosen. Prices correct as of April 2025 but are subject to change.

My wife entered Broomy Hill Nursing Home in July 2017 with vascular dementia. She remained until her death in September 2018. This nursing home deals with patients who generally have the most severe problems, and therefore the staff have a more demanding job. They do this with patience and understanding.
I have visited over 400 times and have respect for the work they do and gratitude for the care and affection shown to my wife.

My wife has been a resident at Broomy Hill for the past 4+ years. At first she was mobile and able to hold simple conversation. She is now confined to her chair or bed. The care she gets is good now, if not better.

We always visit unannounced. My sister is in clean clothes with her hair brushed. The staff are very kind and efficient. My sister appears to like her food. The home as clean and there is no smell. It is well maintained.

We visit the home once a year as we live in Dorset and Somerset. We are always welcomed and have observed the following:-
- the staff speak to the residents in a friendly and respectful manner.
- the resident we visit is clean, suitably dressed and looks comfortable.
- we have observed a meal time
and the food has been well presented and obviously enjoyed.
- the home looks clean and tidy.
- the staff have been helpful and friendly and have been able to accommodate our requests re. visiting our friend.

We are very pleased with the care my Aunt receives at Broomy Hill. She has total needs and all of these are very well catered for. The staff are all extremely pleasant and efficient. My husband has been in Broomy Hill Nursing Home since September 2016 and I have nothing but praise for the staff and management. They are all so helpful on every level and keep me informed. The staff take a personal interest in all the residents. So much so that my husband, who is a good pianist,
but lost the desire to play before he went to Broomy Hill, after only a few weeks and a little encouragement, he started to play again and is still playing now. Thank you, Broomy Hill.

With over 25 years of experience as a qualified general nurse, my career began as a district nurse, followed by advanced practice roles. I have worked in GP surgeries and urgent care centres before transitioning into care home management.


Originally from Liverpool, I moved away when my daughter left for university, although my heart remains connected to my beloved city. Four years ago, my husband and I, along with our two dogs, decided to settle in Hereford after years of living a nomadic lifestyle. We now enjoy a more rooted life, cherishing the time spent with our two grandchildren, who keep us active and youthful.


My passion lies in providing quality care for older adults, especially those living with dementia. I find great fulfilment in stepping away from the desk and working directly alongside my dedicated team.


Since joining Ashberry in August 2023, I have felt immensely proud to be part of this exceptional team. I am excited about the future and look forward to leading Broomy Hill towards continued excellence in care.
