Bowood Court Care Home is a family-run, award-winning care home providing affordable and quality care in Redditch, Worcestershire.

A friendly, well-trained team ensures high standards of residential and dementia care in a comfortable, caring and compassionate environment.

Resident happiness and well-being are at the heart of the home and dedicated activity coordinators provide a daily fun, engaging and stimulating social programme designed to encourage residents to lead a fulfilled happy and enriched life.

In the dementia care suites, residents have access to sensory areas, reminiscence activities and memory boxes. With its own minibus, residents frequently get out and about on day trips to places of local interest.

The home is divided into small care suites with residents enjoying spacious en-suite rooms. Each suite also has its own lounge, dining facilities, updated lifestyle kitchen and care team ensuring that residents are cared for by the same familiar faces every day. Bowood Court recently opened The Queen Elizabeth Arms, a traditional pub complete with a beer garden, which is situated in the centre of the home, providing a social hub for residents and their loved ones to meet for a drink, watch sporting events or enjoy a game of dominoes.

Residents are encouraged to book appointments in the newly refurbished salon.

Set in almost two acres, mature trees frame pleasant sensory gardens with patio seating areas, an aviary and raised vegetable beds.

Bowood Court Care Home has such a homely, warm feeling about it, the staff are very friendly, very approachable, nothing seems to be too much trouble. Everywhere is clean and fresh, really nice for, activities to join in with and get to know people. My husband's been made very welcome and settled well.

would not hesitate to recommend Bowood Court for your loved ones.

I have been visiting Bowood Court to see my partner, who unfortunately has dementia which is gradually getting worse. The staff have been wonderful and caring, especially through the COVID times. The Court, to my mind, has improved quite a lot over this time in the way the home has been run. Nothing
is too much trouble for the staff, sometimes under the most difficult of circumstances. Keep up the good work.

This is the first time I have been able to visit my mum due to health problems. However, on arrival, I was given a very warm welcome by all the staff on route to Mum's room which I was very impressed with in size and cleanliness. I booked in for a Mother's Day meal which was delicious and plentiful
with wine also. The staff have all been very attentive and helpful in so many ways, not only to myself but also the residents. Overall, I am really impressed and hopefully one day I will enjoy the home myself in future.

Bowood Court Care Home, Redditch is such a lovely, bright and happy place to visit residents. The staff are amazing and care to the needs of residents and families alike, nothing seems too much trouble and they are happy to assist with any problems that may arise. The food is very well-prepared, cooked
and balanced and always happy for family visits to help taste the meals.

I have always been happy with the care Mum has been given. She appears happy and settled. The staff work so hard and are friendly and approachable. I often see the connection with staff and residents. There has been a large turnover of staff recently, which can be unsettling for the residents, but I
am confident it will settle down with the new management in place. I would recommend Bowood Court Care Home to others.

My partner has been a resident at Bowood Court since August 2023. He is very happy there and sees it as his home. The staff are very good and we both have a good relationship with them. The care and support offered is good. Management has recently changed but I believe the new manager will be very good
- she introduced herself to my partner and also to myself which was appreciated. My partner is a fussy eater but the kitchen staff make a good effort to accommodate his needs. His room could do with being slightly bigger and more room around the toilet would be good as he has to use a Sara Stedy.

On arrival, I was met at at the door and welcomed in. I was taken to my friend's room and offered a coffee and biscuits. The atmosphere was lovely and everywhere was clean and tidy, which was great to see and smelt good too. My friend said she was very happy to be there and that this is now her new

My friend has been a resident for several months now. It was a big change for her to have to come into care. The staff have helped enormously to make the transition as best as it can be. Always friendly and helpful whenever I call in. My friend is happy and settled and lots of activities are offered.

My father has been at Bowood Court for a couple of months now, and I must say I could not be happier, nor could my father. My father has a few health issues, including diabetes, and his mobility is very limited. Before coming to Bowood, it was a struggle to ensure he kept on top of his meds and insulin
and that his diet was kept on track, as he was a fridge raider which is not good when he forgot to take his insulin! Within days, the staff at Bowood had done an excellent job of sorting his meds/insulin and diet out, and only after a few weeks, he is happier and more alert, and his sugar levels are close to what they should be. All the staff we have met at Bowood are all pleasant and friendly; the food is good with a great variety, and they even had a food tasting the other day for the residents, which my father absolutely loved. The care home is bright, clean and very welcoming. I could not recommend Bowood Court enough; well done, Bowood, keep up the great work.

My mother has been at Bowood for 4 years. They provided plenty of stimulating activities which Mum participated in - it is only her advancing years that she has less energy to participate. The food is well balanced with great variety and ample amounts.
The carers are lovely and it is good to get to
know them and they help Mum in very way that they can and are led by professional and caring staff and management team.

The care staff here at Bowood Mews have all worked incredibly hard over some extremely hard times. Staff show great care, compassion and commitment to ensure all residents get the best care. Myself and my family will always be eternally grateful for the care and support given to our mum.

Since mum has moved into the Court not only has the weight been lifted off us with the outstanding care she is given, she has really settled in and loves it, it's her new home. It's personal, cosy, homely and staff and managers really go the extra mile to make mum happy, meeting all her needs and keeping
her entertained and making friends. I couldn't recommend enough.

My mum has been at Bowood Court & Mews for nearly four years. I am pleased by the kind caring dedicated staff who are always loving, patient and very supportive with mum. The Christmas decorations are a treat too. Well done everybody I am always felt very welcome when I visit.
