Bowood Court Care Home

I am very impressed with the love and care given to my father during his stay at Bowood Court. Nothing was too much trouble and particularly during the last days of his life, the care was second to none, not only to him but also to my sister and myself while we sat with him.

I have always found the staff friendly and helpful on the many occasions when I visited my father. The care given to my father during his stay was excellent. I spent many days at Bowood Court during the last days of my father's life and was most impressed by the commitment of the staff, who were also very kind to us at this time.

The overall love, care, respect, empathy, support and professionalism given to my Mother in Law has been wonderful. Home from home care. Only criticism is the telephone system. Frustrating when you can't get through at times.

Bowood is an excellent care home where staff go the extra mile to meet the needs of the residents. We truly believe that our Mum's two years at Bowood increased her quality of life and its enjoyment, extending her years. When we made the hard decision to put Mum in care, due to her health and dementia deterioration, we were worried and felt extremely guilty. But that did not last long, as the care she received was outstanding. She was so happy there. Sadly she passed away, but the staff came into their most caring and comforting selves and went the extra mile to ensure she, and us, were supported during her final days.

After years of worry, I am now happy my mother has the best of care - as are all the family. My husband likes Bowood Court to a four-star hotel. An excellent care home.

I have already recommended it twice for a relative. The head chef knew about 'soft food' fab!. Managed to relax on holiday for two weeks! He had daycare here at Bowood Mews and felt relaxed. The office staff reassured us from day one. My life has changed. Told the social worker how fab it is to bring to the team.

Could not fault the care and facilities provided.

After a tentative start, I found the staff brilliant in every way to make my stay the best experience possible. Would thoroughly recommend Bowood.

Activities don't always seem to equate with those as published in the monthly 'sparkle'.

I feel very confident that my mum is getting the very best care available - not only in terms of her physical wellbeing but also her psychological wellbeing. There is always lots going on, staff are lovely and supportive, she eats and sleeps well and overall it gives us all great peace of mind.

All the staff are amazing. Patient, kind and always helpful.

The friendship, the hospitality, the kindness is so lovely. You couldn't expect any more than you could need.

Everything is more or less satisfactory except that the toilets do not flush efficiently and I think in a care home, it is essential to have toilets that flush properly.

The staff and facilities are excellent and he looks 15 years younger than his 91 years. It hd been a difficult few months watching my dad's decline in care and health and Bowood Court has made it so much better for him. He has much-needed companionship and interaction, care and kindness. I cannot recommend highly enough.

We're very pleased with all services, staff are very friendly and always look smart. The place always looks lovely and clean and always plenty going on. The new management structure is much appreciated and very professional.
