The nursing care at Beacon House is outstanding. My husband was discharged from the hospital for end of life care, and I had expected him to be made comfortable. However, the nurse charge is constantly reviewing his progress, the GP's advice is frequently sought, they consult me if there are any concerns
over his care, changes etc. This with trips made to the local shop for fresh fish to tempt him to eat. A specialist nurser has been called to discuss his swelling problems. Pyjamas and bedding are stripped off if there is the slightest stain, he is beautifully fresh and always clean shaven, and all the staff are kind and considerate. When I tell my friends and neighbours that my husband is in Court House, they tend to be rather shocked, it has a local reputation of being rather 'downmarket'. My husband's room at the front of Beacon House overlooks a pretty, well-kept garden and there is a lovely garden that visitors can't see. The homes are extremely well maintained and tastefully furnished, the lounge and dining room are perfectly nice. On one side of the car park are a loved period house and some trees and shrubs. I don't know if this belongs to you. Once patients and their families are over the threshold, and they all know how much care staff take to accommodate their needs, they will be won over! You deserve to do well, I doubt that there is a home for miles around that offers your standard of care.

My son has been very well cared for all through lockdown. His regular daily carer has gone above and beyond her role to keep him occupied and happy. He has lots of activities to do despite not being able to go out on his normal excursions. The family has been kept informed by phone and social media
of all his activities. We have regular phone calls and video calls from him, with support from the carers.
When the home was allowed 1 visitor per resident outside for a few weeks recently, I felt this was conducted in a very safe way. I was allowed to sit outside with my son once a week. He appeared very healthy and happy.
My family and I are all extremely pleased with the care my son receives at Court House.

My mum was placed at Court House in Malvern after being in hospital. We had always hoped that Mum would return home from hospital but she wasn't safe to be on her own so a nursing home was the only option. Having never dealt with nursing homes I really didn't know what to expect but I needn't have
had any worries about her being at Court House. With the situation as it is with COVID, we haven't been able to see mum in hospital which is so hard as we are a close family and missed the regular contact but the staff at Court House have been amazing from the start and I feel that they are like her extended family and have treated mum with kindness and respect. Her room is lovely and bright and really clean and mum is always in clean clothes and is spotlessly clean. We are always kept up to date with her condition and nothing ever seems too much trouble. Definitely would say everything is excellent. Thank you.

Mum has been a resident here for a few weeks, unfortunately, she has become unwell and unable to look after herself. We could not have asked for a better placement. The staff here are exactly who you want to look after your loved ones. The kindness and understanding they have shown my Mum and us in
these difficult times has been amazing. The Coronavirus has caused so many difficult situations, that have made everything hard work, they have been positive, cheerful and so caring, my Mum is clean and comfortable, she has clean clothes every day and there is no smell in the care home. We feel that they care for her as we would as her family and for that, we are eternally grateful.

1. Excellent nursing staff and qualified nurses.
2. Some assistants lack much empathy.
3. Why not make more effort to find driver for the minibus. Most licenses include possibility of driving a minibus and there are certainly volunteers out there. Its a waste knowing that the minibus is just sat there.

We are very pleased with the care afforded to Mum in general. She has recovered remarkably well after a spell in hospital and we thank every one concerned for enabling this to happen. Only one incident during the night marred this when Mum was denied painkillers and called my sister because she said
no one belived her. All was put right with staff the next morning.

When my sister entered Court House I wanted her to be treated with dignity and respect. In the time she has been here, we have found that she is treated exactly like this and more. Staff are all very pleasant and help us however they can. The activities in the home are very good and well organised.

My elderly mum went to the Court House Nursing Home in September, from the acute hospital, for six to eight weeks of rehabilitation after her heart attack in her home in Droitwich Spa. I have noticed it is tired and worn out, with few staff members who are not able to get the 68 residents to the toilet
on time or help other residents who need to get to the toilets but they have been made to wait until the staff have finished their break or staff meeting or wait until the next morning, which is unacceptable, especially if it's your elderly mother who can't hold on until the next morning, to get a bedpan because of the shortness of care staff catering for their own residents needs. Plus Mum's washing went walkabouts because they had told us that everything that belongs to Mum, has to be named inside her clothing. Thank you.

My sister was very unsettled when she first came to Court House. She had to leave her assisted living facility after 23 years, was in hospital, then to Court House. She has Down's Syndrome, is autistic, non-verbal and has dementia, a challenge for any care home. Since being in Court House, she has flourished.
The staff loves her, look after her extremely well, encourage her with eating and walking. We are extremely satisfied with her care.

I had a very enjoyable day at the home with my aunty on her birthday. We went our into Malvern for lunch and then enjoyed a great sing-song with a band. This was followed by a birthday tea including a candlelit cake. All good fun. Very well managed by the staff.

All the staff are pleasant and caring and treat my friend with dignity. She cannot stand and they use a hoist. All residents are clean and have their hair done. Laundry is done on-site. Cooking is also in-house, but I have not been there at meal times.
They have a policy of taking residents to the
toilet when they want to, and also mid-morning and mid-afternoon. In consequence, there is no smell of urine.
The management team are extremely helpful and allow personalisation of rooms such as hanging the resident's own pictures.
Residents are encouraged to leave their rooms and socialise in the day room, which has a lovely view of the Malvern Hills. There are many activities arranged, including music and cooking. Staff sometimes take residents to the local shops.

We are all very delighted with the progress our elderly relative has made since arriving at Court House. She is very ill but very happy to be at the home and we are all extremely confident with the nursing that she is receiving especially as we live a long distance from Malvern.

I came to the opening of the garden set out on the patio at the rear of the home and found the staff so pleasant and caring and very helpful. The residents all seemed happy and well cared for. There was a general air of wellbeing and serenity in the home.

After a 2 month stay in hospital where basic care needs were not met my father has been at Court House now for 2 months and has had his dignity and quality of life returned to him - a remarkable team on Midsummer nursing and I thank them for supporting both my father and his family.

As a Registered Nurse, Anamaria has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.


Anamaria closely shares Superior's vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


She also works hard to arrange events and activities with nearby schools and clubs and is always keen to include the local community in life at Court House.
